Abstract

Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan penalaran dan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang diajar dengan Think Pair Share (TPS) dan Group Investigation (GI) di kelas X MAS Amaliyah Sunggal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis eksperimen kuasi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X MAS Amaliyah Sunggal Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020, yang selanjutnya dipilih sampel sebanyak dua kelas secara acak yaitu X-IPA3 dan X-IPA2. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan penalaran dan pemecahan masalah matematis. Selanjutnya data dianalisis menggunakan uji ANAVA dua jalur. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa, (1) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan penalaran dan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang belajar dengan TPS dengan siswa yang belajar dengan GI; dan (2) tidak ada interaksi antara model pembelajaran (TPS, GI) terhadap kemampuan matematis (penalaran, pemecahan masalah). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran TPS dan GI memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda terhadap kemampuan penalaran dan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Kata Kunci:Penalaran, Pemecahan Masalah, Think Pair Share, Group Investigation Abstract:The purpose of this research was to determine differences in students’s reasoning and mathematical problem solving abilities by cooperative learning in Think Pair Share (TPS) and Group Investigation (GI). This research was quantitative study and a quasi eksperimen. The population was all students of grade X MAS Amaliyah Sunggal in Academic Year 2019/2020, then two class is selected as sample randomly. They were X-IPA2 dan X-IPA3. Data was collected by test of reasoning and mathematical problem solving. Then data were analyzed using the two-way ANAVA. The result showed that, (1) there were significant differences in the ability of reasoningg and mathematical problem solving of students who studied by TPS and students who studied by GI; and (2). There is no interaction between learning models (TPS and GI) and the mathematics ability (reasoning and problem solving). So it can be concluded that the TPS and GI gives a different effect on students’ mathematical reasoning and problem solving abilities. Keywords:Reasoning, Problem Solving, Think Pair Share, Group Investigation

Abstract

Abstrak:            Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian merupakan siswa kelas XI sebanyak 6 orang. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan pemberian tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis berupa soal uraian dan wawancara. Data dianalisis dengan model interaktif menurut Miles dan Huberman, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan serta verifikasi data. Berdasarkan penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa dari sebanyak 36 orang siswa diperoleh sebanyak 6 orang siswa (16,6%) termasuk kategori tinggi, kemudian sebanyak 28 orang atau (77,77%) termasuk kategori sedang dan sebanyak 2 orang (5,55%) termasuk kategori rendah. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada tahap memahami masalah, merencanakan strategi dan melaksanakan strategi sudah dapat mengerjakannya, namun pada indikator mengecek kembali jawaban sebahagian siswa yang tidak melakukannya.Kata Kunci:Pemecahan Masalah, Matematika Abstract:The purpose of this study was to determine how the students' mathematical problem solving abilities were. This research is a qualitative research. The research subjects were students of grade XI MIPA 1. The research data were collected by giving tests of mathematical problem solving abilities in the form of descriptions and interviews. Data were analyzed using an interactive model according to Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and data verification. Based on the research, it was concluded that: out of 36 students, 6 students (16.6%) were in the high category, then 28 people or (77.77%) were in the moderate category and as many as 2 people (5.55%) belongs to the low category. From this research, it was found that the problem solving ability of students at the stage of understanding the problem, planning strategies and implementing the strategy was able to do it, but on the indicators, some students checked the answers that did not do it.  Keywords:Problem Solving, Mathematics

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan metakognisi siswa kelas X SMA dalam menyelesaikan masalah sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel (SPLTV). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X MAN 1 Medan yang berjumlah tiga siswa dimana masing-masing mewakili siswa dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Validitas data diperiksa dengan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah tinggi menggunakan metakognisi sadar yaitu perencanaan, pemantauan dan evaluasi dalam memecahkan masalah matematika; siswa dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah sedang menggunakan metakognisi secara sadar, hanya menggunakan perencanaan dan pemantauan dan tidak mengevaluasi saat menyelesaikan masalah matematika; Selanjutnya siswa yang memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah rendah secara sadar menggunakan metakognisinya hanya menggunakan perencanaan, belum mampu memonitor dan mengevaluasi pada saat menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Kata Kunci:Metakognisi, Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Abstract:This research is a qualitative which aims to describe the metacognition of senior high school students grade X in solving math problems about three-variable system of linear equation. The subjects were students of grade X MAN 1 Medan. They were three students, each representing students with high, medium, and low problem solving abilities. The data was collected through observation and interviews. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model which consisted of three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was checked by triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques. The results showed that students with high problem solving abilities used conscious metacognition, namely planning, monitoring and evaluation in solving mathematical problems; students with moderate problem solving abilities are using metacognition consciously, only using plannin and monitoring and not evaluating when solving math problems; Furthermore, students who have low problem solving abilities consciously use their metacogniques only using planning, have not been able to monitor and evaluate at the time of solving mathematical problems.Keywords:Metacognition, Mathematical Problem Solving

Abstract

Creativity is a human potential that does not come from outside the individual. Data collection techniques carried out in the form of documentation and extracting information about innovative methods and utilization of used goods. The results of this service activity are based on observations that have been made in Aman Damai Village Hamlet 3 Sirapit District, namely some of the results show positive because the manufacturing process does not take much time, in making bookshelves from cardboard children show enthusiasm for the directions delivered by the service team, positive reactions shown by children to interest in making bookshelves where almost all participants are able to make and decorate bookshelves well, children follow the mechanism of making products and are quite good at working with the team and children's creativity develops quite well. With used goods can increase income and can help the family economy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work climate on teacher performance at MTs Swasta Cerdas Murni. The work climate here includes physical, social, and psychological conditions in the teacher's work environment, which includes aspects such as managerial support, communication between colleagues, and the level of perceived security. This research method is quantitative using a questionnaire as a data collection tool and other supporting data. The population in this study were all teachers at MTs Swasta Cerdas Murni, so that the entire population in this study was a sample of 30 teachers (population study). Based on the results of the study and the hypothesis, it shows that there is a significant influence between work climate on teacher performance at MTs Swasta Cerdas Murni. Based on the results of the study and calculations, it was found that there was an influence between work climate variables on teacher performance at MTs Swasta Cerdas Murni. The results of the hypothesis test with the T test showed that t count = 2.976, df = n-2 = 30-2 = 28. The t table value = 2.048, at the 0.05 level. Because t count ≥ t table, namely = 2.976 ≥ 2.048, with a significance value of 0.006 (6%) it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This is supported by the results of a simple regression test which states the relationship between the two variables, Y = 30.705 + 1.456X. The meaning of this regression equation is if the work climate value is 0, then the teacher's performance value is 30.705. The regression coefficient value of the teacher performance variable (b) is 1.456; this can be interpreted that for every 1% increase in work climate, teacher performance increases by 1.456. Furthermore, in the determination coefficient test, the R square value is obtained = 0.240, this means that the work climate variable affects the teacher performance variable by 24%. Thus, teacher performance at MTs Swasta Cerdas Murni is 24% influenced by the existing work climate and 76% is influenced by other factors or causes other than the variables studied. Nevertheless, it can be suggested for teachers and school principals to continuously improve their performance in order to achieve the school's goals effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

This study was chosen because it is believed to be able to provide a positive impact on the mathematics learning process, especially in improving students' mathematical concept understanding abilities and reducing mathematical anxiety which is often an obstacle in learning. This is to analyze the effect of the Learning Start With A Question (LSQ) strategy with the Quizizz Application on students' mathematical concept understanding abilities and mathematical anxiety at SMP Negeri 2 Bilah Barat. This study used a quasi-experimental design with the Single Group Interrupted Time Series Design approach. The study population was all students of grade VII with a sample of class VII-1 totaling 32 students, selected using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The results showed that the LSQ strategy with the Quizizz Application had a significant effect on improving students' mathematical concept understanding abilities and reducing students' mathematical anxiety. Based on the hypothesis test using the Paired Sample T-Test, a significance value of 0.001 was obtained, which was smaller than 0.05, so that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected. This study concludes that the application of LSQ with the Quizizz Application is effective in improving students' mathematical concept understanding and reducing students' mathematical anxiety at SMP Negeri 2 Bilah Barat.
