Abstract

The recent seismic code SNI 1726-2012 is significantly different compared to the older code SNI 1726-2002. The seismic hazard map was significantly changed and the level of maximum considered earthquake was significantly increased. Therefore, buildings designed according to outdated code may not resist the higher demand required by newer code. In this study, seismic performance of Hotel X in Kupang, Indonesia which was designed based on SNI-1726-2002 is investigated. The structure was analyzed using Nonlinear Time History Analysis. The seismic load used was a spectrum consistent ground acceleration generated from El-Centro 18 May 1940 North-South component in accordance to SNI 1726-2012. The results show that Hotel X can resist maximum considered earthquake required by SNI 1726-2012. The maximum drift ratio is 0.81% which is lower than the limit set by FEMA 356-2000 (2%). Plastic hinge damage level is also lower than the allowance in ACMC 2001.

Abstract

The Setia Kawan Bookstore application is an application that is designed and created to make it easier for buyers to view any information about the products available at the Setia Kawan Bookstore online, but cannot be used in general because there are still problems so it is necessary to do testing in order to minimize a failure and also an error that can cause feelings of disappointment in carrying out the bookstore sales activities. The system application that has been designed and created must be tested first, the Setia Kawan Bookstore testing application uses the boundary value analysis method. Application testing that has been made must go through testing so that the application has good quality. A test is said to be good if the test finds an error that is difficult to find. Among the many black box testing methods, in this case the examiner uses the boundary value analysis method. The method tested the number of appropriate maximum and minimum limits and found valid results. The first process in testing this application is to provide activities to be tested, create test designs, and select test materials. And determine with certainty that the maximum and minimum are in accordance with the structure of the data base, and make documentation based on the test results obtained and draw a conclusion that the application can be used properly. The Setia Kawan Bookstore application can be used when the test has been completed and is said to have been successful if all errors have been resolved before being used by the buyer.

Abstract

Demam berdarah (DBD) adalah penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus dengue yang ditularkan oleh nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Penyakit ini menjadi ancaman kesehatan di berbagai wilayah, terutama di daerah tropis dan subtropis. Salah satu upaya untuk mengurangi angka kejadian DBD adalah melalui pencegahan penyebaran nyamuk pembawa virus ini. Artikel ini melaporkan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan mengedukasi masyarakat di Desa Lampreh Lamjampok tentang cara pencegahan nyamuk penyebab demam berdarah melalui kegiatan pemberantasan sarang nyamuk dengan melakukan gotong royong membersihkan lingkungan secara bersama dan menanam pohon anti nyamuk. Pendekatan yang digunakan dengan keterlibatan Mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) sebagai fasilator yaitu mengunjungi langsung ke rumah warga melakukan penyulusan secara interaktif dengan diskusi dan sesi tanya jawab agar masyarakat lebih memahami materi yang disampaikan. kemudian membagikan poster pencegahan DBD dan menanam pohon sereh di sekitar rumah, halaman musholla, serta beberapa titik yang dianggap rawan menjadi sarang nyamuk. Selain menanam, warga juga diberikan edukasi mengenai manfaat sereh sebagai tanaman pengusir nyamuk alami. Hasil dari penyuluhan ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Desa Lampreh Lamjampok menyambut positif dan aktif dalam kegiatan program penyuluhan pencegahan nyamuk penyebab demam berdarah yang berdampak pada peningkatan kesadaran perilaku hidup sehat pada masyarakat desa Lampreh Lamjampok.

Abstract

Sistem informasi yang terpusat akan terlalu membebani server hal ini dikarena banyaknya sistem informasi yang didistribusikan ke masing-masing fakultas atau ke masing-masing jurusan diantaranya dari berbagai macam sistem informasi tersebut adalah sistem informasi pendaftaran toefl, pada saat transaksi pendaftaran sistem ini akan berinteraksi dengan sistem informasi akademik Universitas Abulyatana untuk mencari data pokok mahasiswa yang jumlahnya pasti banyak maka pada kasus ini tentu akan membutuhkan waktu yang lama sehingga akan mengakibatkan server terbebani. Oleh karena itu untuk mengatasi masalah ini perlu dikembangkan suatu web service yang dapat memudahkan dalam komunikasi antar berbagai sistem informasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan interaksi sistem informasi pendaftaran toefl dan sistem informasi akademik pada Universitas Abulyatama dapat berjalan dengan baik menggunakan web service. Pada penelitian ini penerapan web service dikembang dengan menggunakan Framework CodeIgniter mengunakan standar librabri yang disediakan oleh Framework sehingga dalam berinteraksi dari berbagai sistem informasi menjadi cepat dan efektif.
