Abstract

This dedication is motivated by the fact that there are still many teachers who are not yet skilled and even don't know the reference management technique through Mendeley. Whereas in this era, ICT-based tools like Mendeley will be able to support the professionalism of a teacher. This service is in the form of training for elementary school teachers on the use of Mendeley in scientific articles. The aim of this training is to improve the knowledge and skills of elementary school teachers in the field of reference management in scientific articles using Mendeley tools. Mendeley is a software that functions as a reference and citation manager in scientific writings. The implementation of this service uses a structured training method. In addition, there is also an activity supplement in the form of independent mentoring for teachers who are still having trouble with joint training activities. The results of the implementation showed that this activity received a very good response. This can be seen from the very communicative training interactions. Based on questionnaire data before and after this training activity, it shows that the training participants experienced an increase in knowledge and skills by 30%. It can be concluded that this activity has been quite successful in improving teacher professionalism, especially in the field of ICT mastery such as Mendeley. This is also part of an effort to advance education, especially advancing teacher human resources at the basic education level

Abstract

Poetry is the most unique literary work because it is created from the poet's deepest contemplation, poetry is not just a work of art but an outpouring of a writer when he is happy, or when he is sad. Poetry is a very elegant way to convey the heart and express all the events that occur in everyday life to every human being. This poem has two structures, namely the physical structure and the inner structure. The author chose "With Poetry, Aku" by Taufik Ismail as the object of research, which means to know about the theme and the meaning contained in it. The formulation of the problem raised from this research is how the inner structure contained in the poem "With Poetry, Aku"?. This study aims to describe the inner structure of the theme, tone, feeling and message. By focusing on analyzing the inner structure of the researcher can perform analysis with clarity and facts. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. This poem has a result that contains the theme of humanity, has a charismatic tone, contains a sense of alienation due to the deteriorating conditions of the times, and has a mandate that everyone has a compassionate nature, continues to work, prays to god so that everything changes and life becomes better.

Abstract

This research article aims to examine Indonesian spelling errors in student thesis abstracts where writing errors are found. Student mistakes in writing thesis abstracts sometimes do not use the correct Indonesian spelling. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method and data collection procedures in the form of observation. Based on the results of the research, the samples taken were 10 thesis abstracts of IKIP Siliwangi Elementary School Teacher Education Studies program. In writing an abstract, there is a language spelling that is not correct according to the Enhanced Indonesian Spelling Guidelines (EYD), namely the use of prepositions, the use of capital letters, writing full stops, the use of italics and errors in writing words. There are 16 spelling errors in the abstract of Elementary School Teacher Education students. Based on the results of the discussion above, it can be concluded that there was an inaccuracy of the author in using language spelling in italics, capital letters, prepositions, writing periods and errors in writing words.
