Abstract

Teachers are the spearhead in conveying information (knowledge) in the world of education. The development and progress of information technology also influence the development of the world of education in achieving the desired goals. Thus, efforts are needed to improve and develop skills and knowledge possessed by teachers as provisions for teaching and learning activities. One of them is through e-learning socrative learning training for teachers, namely utilizing technology, information, and computers through networks (internet, LAN, WAN). The purpose of this training is to improve the ability, skills, and readiness of teachers to carry out and deal with learning in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, especially Indonesian language teachers. The training method used is lectures and practice of operating (using) the social e-learning learning model in Indonesian language learning for Indonesian language teachers in Subang Regency, West Java. The results achieved in this training improve the skills and knowledge of teachers regarding ICT-based learning (Technology, Information, and Computers) in Indonesian subjects, fostering good motivation in teaching and learning activities. The conclusion is the results of the socrative e-learning training, for teachers learning becomes more effective, fun, and enthusiastic. In addition, it is one of the solutions for facing learning in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0

Abstract

Implementasi Pemanfaatan Latihan Terbimbing dan Pembelajaran Menulis Naskah Drama Berbasis Ekologi DAS Citarum. Daerah aliran sungai (DAS) Citarum menjadi salah satu perangkat utama dalam proses pembelajaran dengan tujuan untuk membangun kesadaran masyarakat terhadap upaya pemeliharaan kualitas lingkungan yang berada di DAS Citarum. Proses upaya penyadaran dilakukan dengan berbagai pendekatan yang saling berkaitan terutama dalam membentuk karakter utama masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan ekologi DAS Citarum secara bijaksana dan produktif. Pembelajaran bahasa melalui drama, diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu upaya untuk menunjang pembelajaran terhadap masyarakat, dengan metode  yang tidak  terlalu  kaku,  namun  efektif.  Drama sebagai  salah  satu  bentuk  sastra populer diharapkan dapat membangun kesadaran masyarakat dengan komunikasi yang lebih menarik.  Pelatihan  terbimbing merupakan  metode pendidikan  sastra  yang lebih  fleksibel terhadap   kualitas   pembelajaran   bahasa   dan   sastra.   Landasan   utama   dalam   program pengabdian adalah hasil pengabdian yang dilakukan oleh A. Permana dan R. Hidayat (2018) yang berkaitan dengan latihan terbimbing dan pembelajaran menulis naskah drama. Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah dengan program pelatihan terbimbing dan demonstrasi drama dengan memanfaatkan ekologi DAS Citarum

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurangnya kemampuan berbicara siswa dalam menyampaikan ide dan pokok bahasan kepada khalayak. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi siswa untuk memiliki kemampuan berbicara yang menekankan partisipasi dan aktivitas dari pebelajar, maka untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut pada penelitian ini dikaji suatu model pembelajaran, yaitu pendekatan Quantum Learning. Penelitian ini berusaha untuk menjawab rumusan masalah, di antaranya; 1) bagaimana kemampuan bahasa komunikatif dan informatif siswa sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran quantum berbasis kategori fatis dalam pembelajaran berpidato? 2) bagaimana kemampuan bahasa komunikatif dan informatif siswa sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran quantum berbasis kategori fatis dalam pembelajaran berpidato? 3) apakah penerapan model pembelajaran quantum lebih efektif dibadingkan pembelajaran konvensional? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpidato komunikatif dan informatif kedua kelas, dan fungsi tuturan kategori fatis. Dipilih dua kelas secara acak dengan cara mengundi untuk dijadikan sampel penelitian. Setiap kelas terdiri dari 30 siswa. Analisis dilakukan terhadap rataan gain ternormalisasi (kuantitatif) dan data pembelajaran dengan model quantum learning pada proses belajar siswa antara kedua kelompok sampel dengan menggunakan Uji perbedaan dua rerata dan uji kontingensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan berpidato komunikatif dan informatif siswa menggunakan model quantum learning lebih baik daripada pendekatan konvensional.

Abstract

The background of this research was based on the intereset in reviwing the langguange style in the poem using a semiotic approach. The poem a analyzed titeld “DEBU” by Abdul Wachid B.S. The purposes of this research is; 1) knowing the use of language styles of the poem analyzed, 2) knowing the meaning and marker using a semiotic approach. 3) Describe the contents of the poem analayzed. In this research using a qualitative descriptive method, namely the method used to describe the analysis of the object research by paying anttention to researchers as a key instrument in the data collection. In addition, this research uses a semiotic approach. The subjects of this study were “DEBU” poem by Abdul Wachid B.S. The results of this research can be seen from the use of language styles in these poem using several varied language and styles ranging from allegory, antitesis, metaphors, simile, repetition, and hyperbole. In addition, the semiotics approach is used to provide signifier and signified to find out the meaning contained in the phrase. The outline the meaning contained in the poem is; lifelike in the world only temporarily there is no need to be arrogant and humans also live only bring good attitude. The poem has a romantic religious friend with a bland of beautiful phrases. The topic in this research was able to be a motivation to make a literary work of poetry.

Abstract

The learning title produces exposition texts by using problem based learning method in class X T KR students. As for the background of the problem that not all students can understand especially to present their ideas related to what is taught in Indonesian language subjects. Background problem there are 3 points: Is the Problem Based Learning method can improve the ability of writing exposition text ?, Is the method of learning problem-based effective learning used in learning writing exposition text ?, is there a difference before and after using the method of problem based learning on X? The research design used by researchers is One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. Where this design is preted before treatment and postes after treatment. Thus the treatment results can be known more accurately, because it can compare test results between before and after treatment. The population of SMK BINA PEMUDA is less than 150 people and the sample of the research is 20 students with 18 men and 2 women. The result of the research before using the method is seen from the average value of the initial test of 47.75 and the mean value of the final test 57 with the mean of 9,25 and the value of t table = 1, 70 turns t count> t table (7.64> 1.70), which means that the interruption between the initial test and the final test increased significantly.

Abstract

This article aims to describe Roky Gerung's phrase in a fictional statement of the scriptures presented in a television show. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The object of this research is a roky revelation in an electronic event. The phrase Rocky Gerung when viewed in the level of semantic science in this case Mantik science, the theory used is Mantik. Mantik is the science of logic. This mantle emphasizes the meaning of words in terms of logic. The results of the analysis show that this statement uses a pattern if then. Thus, Rocky Gerung's statement is not wrong because if it justifies his statement, the conclusion to the scripture is fiction justified. However, if one does not justify the preceding statement and conclude that the scripture is fiction is certainly not justified.

Abstract

Poetry as one type of literary work consisting of a series of words and contain meaning. Therefore, to understand poetry it is necessary to have an in-depth study. Researchers chose June Rain's poetry as the object of poetry to be analyzed. June rain poetry uses a variety of languages so as to produce deep meaning for the reader. The formulation of the problem in this study is What is the inner structure contained in the June rain poem ?. The purpose of this research  is to describe the inner structure contained in the June rain poem. The research method in this study is a structural approach that aims to find out and describe the inner structure contained in the poem. Data analysis techniques in this research are poetry reading, analyzing the inner structure of pusii and giving conclusions. The results of the poetry analysis contain the theme of love and approach to have a feeling or a moving atmosphere because of the sincerity of his love and have a tone that tends to be low and calm emotions and have a mandate so that every human being has the character of being stoic, wise and discerning. Keywords: Analysis, Inner Structure, Poetry

Abstract

This journal aims to this describe kinds of gender inequality, sexual violence, and the main character struggle named Dewi Ayu to fight against women's downtrodden over men in post-colonial era in a novel Cantik Itu Luka by Eka Kurniawan. The way text reveals the ideas of the characters is less-explicit and tend to have depraved behavior even you unexpected form and direction. the patriarchy damages the main character pleasant to become a prostitute and assume that a woman is just stereotype and inferior. This research is based on the feminism-analysis theory. The data analyzed shows that the figure Dewi Ayu is a form of negotiation toward the colonialism.

Abstract

To adequate facilities and infrastructure is an effort to build the spirit of learners to be more eager to do positive things in education. Many learners have very good potential and a great hidden talent, but can not develop it maximally because of the limited facilities owned by the school or campus. Facilities and infrastructure also affect the spirit and interest in learning of the learners, because of the lack of adequate facilities and infrastructure, will trigger low learning spirit of learners. In this research the researcher use descriptive qualitative method.  It is a method that aims to describe how the situation and the actual phenomenon, then described in the research report. Intruments collection Data collected by spreading questionnaires through google form to some students IKIP Siliwangi Bandung. Of the 35 respondents almost 50% argued that supporting facilities in activities outside the academic is more limited than the facilities supporting activities in academic.

Abstract

This class action education is aimed to find out (1) The improvement of reading comprehension students of class XI TKR 1 after being given REAP method, and (2) to know the student's response to the implementation of REAP method in reading comprehension. The subjects of this study were 36 students of class XI TKR 1 SMK Merdeka Soreang. The Data collection in this research is done by giving test, collecting questionnaires, interviews and field observation. The data gathering instruments used include students questionnaires, test results, observation sheets, and interview guidelines. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively quantitative and qualitative. The first research result is the implementation of REAP method can improve students' comprehension of class XI TKR 1 SMK Merdeka Soreang in reading text. The average score of the pre test gain was 62.47, increased to 69.78 in the post test 1, and 75.67 in the post test 2. The second study result is the student's response to the REAP method in this reading comprehension is very positively. Students feel helped by the use of this REAP method.
