Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan persilangan i antara beberapa genotip kacang tunggak (Vigna unguiculata (L.) Walp) dan beberapa genotipe kacang panjang (Vigna sesquipedalis (L.) Fruwirth). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental. Rancangan persilangan yang digunakan yaitu dialel lengkap. Tiga genotipe kacang tunggak (KTU, KTH, KTC) disilangkan dengan tiga genotipe kacang panjang (KPHP, KP 1 dan KP 5). Masing-masing genotipe ditanam dalam lima pot. Penanaman dilakukan dalam dua periode dengan selang waktu sepuluh hari. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapt tingkat keberhasilan yang berbeda dari delapan belas persilangan. Persentase tingkat keberhasilan tertinggi 66,67% antara KTH dan KP1 sedangkan tingkat keberhasilan persilangan terendah adalah 6.67% antara KTU dan KP5. ABSTRACT The objective of this research was to know succes level of hybridization between some genotypes of cowpea (Vigna unguiculata (L.) Walp) and some genotypes of long bean (Vigna sesquipedalis (L.) Fruwirth). This research used an experimental method by using complete dialel design. Three cowpea genotypes (KTU, KTH, KTC) were crossed with three long bean genotypes (KPHP , KP 1 and KP 5). Each of genotype was planted in five pots. Planting was conducted in two periods with an interval of ten days. The results of this research showed that there are different success level of eighteen hybrids. The percentage of the hybridization success level was varied between 6 and 67 %. The highest success level of hybridization was 66.67 % between KTH and KP1 while the lowest success level of hybridization was 6.67 % between KTU and KP5.
