Abstract

This research aim to study the influence of addition of level of cabbage pickle sort to content of nutrisi silase fish. Research executed in two Laboratory that is Technological Laboratory of Food of Livestock. andLaboratory of Science of Livestock Food, Majors of Nutrisi and Livestock Food, Faculty Of Veterinary of University of Diponegoro Semarang. Research Activity by three phase. First phase early making of cabbagecondensation that is by cleaning cabbage beforehand, later;then cut to pieces to minimize and enhanced salt 2,5Yo from fresh weight of cabbage. Afterwards, mingled called a meeting to order anaerob during 4 day tobe taken by its condensation (starter). count of Fish, later;then steamed and extorted obstetrical until aimya lose the. Molasses as much 15% from fresh weight of fish and enhanced by starter of cabbage condensation12,5yo, 15Yo and l7,5Yo from fresh weight of fish runcah. Second phase is the the mixture into stoples and called a meeting to order. treatment of Time during 0, 4, 8 and 12 day. Last phase, silase of fish tested bylaboratoris cover the harsh protein, harsh fat, dusty, harsh fibre and extract substance without nitrogen of according to procedure AOAC (1975). Result of research indicate that treatment of level pickle 12,5, 15 and17,5%o not show the existence of real influence ( p0,05) to harsh protein harsh fat, and harsh fibre.Obstetrical mean silage nutrition fish successively as follows : cruide protein ( 55,32;53,69 and 55,07%); extraceter (3,66;3,64and4,01%); andcruide fibre( 1,07;1,05 and l,l4%). Pursuantto inferentialresearchresult that treatment of addition of level of cabbage pickle sort not influence of quality of silage fishKeyword : pickle, cabbage, silase, fish.

Abstract

Abstract Lactic acid bacteria is one of natural microbe which is often used as fermentation agent. The Purpose of this researchwas isolated and identified lactic acid bacteria in broiler's caecum. Exploration experimental method by 6 repetition with 2 sub research was used. The ldentification of Lactic acid bacteria was based on morphological, biochemical and physiological of the character. The morphological characteristic were shape cell and gram test. The biochemical characteristic was catalase test. The physiological characteristic was clear zone test. The result obtained l2 isolates of Lactic acid bacteria, rod and coccus , gam positive, catalase negative and showed clear zone colony at lok CaCOt in MRS. That were early characteristic of lactic acid bacteria which were apparenly as genus of Lactobacillus and Leuconostoc. Keywords : caecum, Lactic acid bacteria

Abstract

The aim of the research was to evaluate the effect of addition starter Lactobacillus sp on microbiologic performances was been seen from total bacterial, lactic acid bacteria and fungal of fish iilage. The researih material were fish waste (ikan rucah), rice bran, Lactobacillus sp, fisiologic NaCl, NA (Nutrient Agar), MRS (de Man, Rogosa, and Sharpe) Broth, and SGA (Saboroud Glucose Agar). The completely randomized design was been used on this research with 5 treaments and 3 replications. The treatments were C0 (level starter 07o), Cl (level starter2Yo), C2 (level starter 4o/o), C3 (level starter 60/o) and C4 (level starter 8%). fheparameters were total bacterial, lactic acid bacteria and fungal of fish silage. The results showed that addition of starter Lactobacillus sp has no affected to total bacterial and fungal of fish silage. The addition increased(p<0,01) total lactic acid bacteria of fish silage. The conclusion was addition of starter Lactobacillus rp wir been stored during 2 weeks no affect total bacteria and fungi of fish silage. Addition of 4% level itarterLactobacillus sp increased total lactic acid bacteria offish silage.Keyword ; stafter Lactobacillus sp, fish silage, total bacteria, total fungi

Abstract

Pseudomonas fluorescensandP. putida are Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) that can produce growth hormone. The objective of this study is to know the effects of those two combined species of PGPR on seedling root growth of Jatrophacurcas. The condition of the seedling root determines the success of dry land cultivation. The root which has wider coverage, is larger in number, and is bigger in diameter makes seedling more resistant to stress in dry land environment. In the experiment, two kinds of plant materials are used for seedling, the Jatropha seed and stem material, which are treated in a mixed culture of PGPR. For the Jatropha seed, this mixed culture of PGPR is given at the same time of cultivating the sprout on the seedling medium. For the stem cutting, the PGPR is poured in together during the first watering of the seedling cultivation medium. In the fourthweek, the observed growth parameters are root length, root diameter, primary and secondary lateral root numbers, Root Length Density (RLD), Frequency of Lateral Root (FLR), and Specific Root Length (SRL). These data are analyzed using analysis of variant with DMRT test at 0.05 level of significance. The result of this study shows that PGPR tend to reduce FLR values on the seedling root made from seeds. On the seedling root made from stem cutting, PGPR increase the root length, primary and secondary lateral root numbers, root diameter, FLR and SRL values as well. Abstract

Agricultural intensification program in Indonesia which is carried out by using high yield variety, high chemicals use and soil disturbances tends to trigger land exploitation. Land exploitation, performed without considering the lands capability can generate degradations on the land itself. Various methods have been used to determine land exploitation level, including evaluation of soil microbe resources as on soil component. This research is aimed to assess land exploitation level, based on the amount of microbial population. The result of this research is expected to add the soil quality standard criteria. In the case study performed in Dieng plateau, representative soil sampling method was used. The amount of microbial population can be enumerated using plating and MPN method. Based on nutrient availability to indicate the soil biological characteristics, the soil under the trees, shrub, and Colocasia were classified as “below normal”, and the soil under the grass, tobacco, cabbage and potato were classified as normal. It shows that the land exploitation at the agricultural soils were still in the range of its land capability.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan aktivitas protease dari probiotik Lactobacillus bulgaricus dan pengaruh probiotik Lactobacillus bulgaricus dalam fermentasi pakan ampas tahu untuk meningkatkan produktivitas cacing tanah. Metode yang digunakan untuk penentuan aktivitas protease dalam hidrolisis substrat kasein adalah metode Bradford. Dari hasil penelitian, probiotik Lactobacillus bulgaricus mengeluarkan protease selama 18 jam pertumbuhan, dengan aktivitas protease sebesar 131,04 U/mL. Probiotik Lactobacillus bulgaricus OD 0,6 dapat menghidrolisis protein ampas tahu sebesar 1,48 µg/mL dalam 12 jam fermentasi. Produktivitas cacing tanah mengalami peningkatan berat cacing tanah karena adanya pengaruh probiotik Lactobacillus bulgaricus pada pakan ampas tahu yang ditunjukkan dengan persen kenaikan berat cacing tanah sebesar 32,13%.Kata kunci: Probiotik, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Enzim protease, Cacing tanah

Abstract

Mengenal keaksaraan awal menjadi kemampuan dasar yang perlu distimulasi sejak dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan keaksaraan awal melalui permainan kartu angka pada anak kelompok A di TK Negeri Pembina Bantul. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Adapun subjek penelitian sejumlah 20 anak, yang terdiri dari 5 anak laki-laki dan 15 anak perempuan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dengan instrumen pengumpulan data berupa lembar observasi. Kriteria keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini adalah apabila minimal 76 % anak sudah mencapai BSH (Berkembang Sesuai Harapan) ataupun BSB (Berkembang Sangat Baik). Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan mengenal keaksaraan awal dapat ditingkatkan melalui permainan kartu angka. Hal ini ditunjukkan pada jumlah anak yang berada pada kriteria Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH) dan Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB) mengalami peningkatan 57,89 %. Adapun langkah-langkahnya yaitu: guru menyiapkan kartu angka dan lembar kegiatan anak, anak mengambil lembar kegiatan dan kartu angka, anak bermain kartu angka dengan memilih dan menghubungkan gambar yang ada dalam lembar kegiatan dengan lambang bilangannya, dan anak mengkomunikasikan hasil menghubungkan gambar dengan kartu angka pada guru.
