Abstract

Diabetes melitus adalah suatu kelompok penyakit metabolik yang disifati oleh adanya hiperglikemi yang disebabkan oleh kelainan sekresi insulin, gangguan kerja insulin, atau keduanya. Keadaan hiperglikemi yang kronik pada diabetes melitus dapat mengakibatkan terjadinya komplikasi kronik beberapa alat tubuh terutama mata, ginjal, saraf, jantung dan pembuluh darah Tujuan penelolaan jangka pendek pada penderita DM adalah menghilangkan keluhan /gejala DM dan mempertahankan rasa nyaman dan sehat, sedangkan tujuan jangka panjangnya adalah mencegah penyulit, baik makroangiopati (gangguan pembuluh darag besar),mikroangiopati (gangguan pembuluh darah kecil) maupun neuropati (gangguan saraf tepi). Secara garis besar pengelolaan DM dibagi menjadi 5 (Pentalogi DM) yaitu pengaturan makan, latihan fisik/olahraga,penyuluhan,obat dan cangkok pankreas.Oleh karena itu selain memperhatikan pola makan sehari-hari, penderita harus melakukan latihan fisik Latihan fisik dapat menurunkan berat badan dan memperbaiki sensitifitas terhadap insulin, sehingga akan memperbaiki kendali glukosa darah. Latihan fisik yang dimaksud jalan kaki, bersepeda santai, jogging, berenang.Latihan fisik sebaiknya disesuaikan dengan umur dan status kesegaran fisik. Dengan rajin berolahraga ditambah mengatur menu makanan serta mengontrol kadar gula darah secara teratur, komplikasi akibat diabetes dapat dihindari.

Abstract

Abstrak Gizi merupakan suatu proses organisme dari makanan yang dikonsumsi untuk mempertahankan kehidupan, pertumbuhan, fungsi normal organ-organ tubuh, serta menghasilkan energi. Penentuan survei status gizi di Indonesia berdasarkan keputusan menteri kesehatan tahun 2010 menggunakan Indeks Masa Tubuh/Umur (IMT/U), dengan begitu pengukuran tingkat status gizi ini difokuskan dengan mengukur tinggi badan dan berat badan anak yang nantinya dihitung menggunakan rumus IMT. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat status gizi siswa kelas 1 SD se-Kecamatan Jambangan kota Surabaya. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas 1 SD se-Kecamatan Jambagan kota Surabaya yang berjumlah 360 dari 7 sekolah dasar (SD). Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pengukuran tinggi badan, pengukuran berat badan dan umur sebagai alat untuk pengumpulan data. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah perhitungan standar deviasi dan perhitungan rata-rata (mean). Hasil penelitian ini berupa: (1) Rata-rata tinggi badan siswa kelas 1 SD se-Kecamatan Jambangan kota Surabaya sebesar 120,2 cm dengan standar deviasi sebesar 6,5. (2) Rata-rata berat badan siswa kelas 1 SD se-Kecamatan Jambangan kota Surabaya sebesar 23,3kg dengan standar deviasi sebesar 6,5. (3) Rata-rata IMT siswa kelas 1 SD se-Kecamatan Jambangan kota Surabaya sebesar 15,9 dengan standar deviasi sebesar 3,4. (4) Persentase status gizi siswa kelas 1 SD se-Kecamatan Jambangan kota Surabaya dengan kategori gizi sangat kurus sebanyak 4% (15 siswa); kategori gizi kurus sebanyak 8% (29 siswa); kategori gizi normal sebanyak 66% (237 siswa); kategori gizi gemuk sebanyak 7% (24 siswa) dan kategori gizi obesitas sebanyak 15% (55 siswa). Kata Kunci : Kelas 1 SD, Status gizi. Abstract Nutrition is a food-organisms which is needed by human to maintain life, normalize body functions, and produce energy. Nutritional status can be determined by Body/Age Index (BMI/U). Thus, level of nutritional status measurement focuses on measuring the childs height and weight by BMI formula. The purpose of this study is to find the nutritional status level of first grader elementary school students in Jambangan sub-district in Surabaya. The population of this study were 360 students of first grader elementary school students from 7 different elementary schools in Jambangan sub-district, Surabaya. Descriptive quantitative method was used in this study. The data collection techniques in this study were height, body weight and age measurements. The data analysis techniques in this study were the standard deviation calculation and mean. This study found that (1) the average height of first grader elementary school students in the Jambangan sub-district of Surabaya was 120.2 cm with a standard deviation 6.5; (2) the average body weight of first grader elementary school students in the Jambangan sub-district of Surabaya was 23.3 kg with a standard deviation 6.5; (3) the average BMI of first grader elementary school students in the Jambangan sub-district of Surabaya is 15.9 with a standard deviation 3.4; (4) the percentages of nutritional status level of the first grader elementary school students in Jambangan sub-district, Surabaya city are 8% (29 students) for too underweight nutrition category, 4% (15 students) for underweight nutrition category, 66% (237 students) for normal nutrition category, 7% (24 students) for overweight nutrition category, and 15% (55 students) for obese nutrition category. Abstract

Abstrak Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga dan Kesehatan (PJOK) adalah salah satu mata pelajaran tentang kesehatan yang diajarkan di sekolah kepada siswa. PJOK mempunyai fungsi utama yaitu mengajar dan mendidik melalui aktivitas fisik dan mengajarkan kesehatan. Usia sekolah dasar merupakan saat paling tepat untuk mempersiapkan generasi yang sehat nantinya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan kesehatan pribadi siswa kelas V SDN Sugihwaras 3 dengan siswa kelas V MI Sururiyah Sugihwaras. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian non-eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SDN Sugihwaras 3 dam siswa MI Sururiyah Sugihwaras. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive random sample yang mengambil kelas V saja. Data yang diambil menggunakan angket kesehatan pribadi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa rata-rata nilai kesehatan pribadi siswa kelas V SDN Sugihwaras 3 Sebesar (M) 53.19 dengan standard deviasi (SD) 9.448. Sedangkan pada MI Sururiyah didapat nilai sebesar (M) 57.04 dengan standard deviasi (SD) 9.958. Dengan perhitungan melalui statistical program for social sciene (SPSS) for windows evaluation 21.0 Berdasarkan hasil uji-t dari 2 kelompok berbeda yaitu diperoleh hasil keseluruhan dengan signifikan 0,0001, dengan nilai t -2,068 dan selisih mean antara SDN Sugihwaras 3 dan MI Sururiyah adalah 0,8472. Karena nilai signifikansi < ? 0,05 maka Ha diterima. Kesimpulannya terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna antara kesehatan pribadi siswa SDN Sugihwaras 3 dan MI Sururiyah. Kata kunci : perbandingan, kesehatan pribadi Abstract Physical education (PE) is one of the subjects about health which is taught in schools. PE also has the main function to educate through physical activity and health. Primary school age is the most appropriate time for preparing a healthy generation in the future. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in personal health of fifth grade students of elementary school 3 Sugihwaras and Islamic elementary school Sururiyah Sugihwaras. This study used non-experimental research. The population of this study were students of elementary school 3 Sugihwaras and Islamic elementary school Sururiyah Sugihwaras. This study used purposive random sampling technique which took fifth grader students only. The data was taken by using a personal health questionnaire. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the average value of personal health of fifth grade students of elementary school 3 Sugihwaras is (M) 98.78 with standard deviation (SD) 33,194. While in Islamic elementary school Sururiyah the value is (M) 84.67 with standard deviation (SD) 28,904. Those results are gained with calculations through statistical program for social science (SPSS) for windows evaluation 20.0. Based on the results of the t-test of 2 different groups, the overall results are significant with 0,0001, with a value of t -3,417 and the mean difference between elementary school 3 Sugihwaras and Islamic elementary school Sururiyah Sugihwaras is 14.11. Because the significance value is <? 0.05, Ha is accepted. In conclusion, there are significant differences between the personal health of elementary school 3 Sugihwaras and Islamic elementary school Sururiyah Sugihwaras. Abstract

Physical education is a component of education that emphasizes physical activity, which is essential in the learning process. The primary goal of physical education is to enhance physical skills, motor abilities, emotional control, and a healthy lifestyle through well-planned programs of physical activities, sports, and health. Observations indicate that during PJOK lessons, especially on volleyball material, many students at SMA Labschool Unesa 1 show a lack of interest in participating in the lessons. The researcher uses audio-visual media, which is expected to help improve students' learning outcomes, particularly in the overhand and underhand serve in volleyball. The aim of this study is to determine the impact of audio-visual learning media on the learning outcomes of overhand and underhand serves. This research is a quantitative experiment using a randomized control group pretest-posttest design that includes an experimental group and a control group. The mean pretest score for the experimental group was 5.59 for the underhand serve and 5.62 for the overhand serve, while the posttest scores were 7.07 and 7.21, respectively. The standard deviation for the pretest underhand serve was 1.701 and for the overhand serve was 1.545; for the posttest, the underhand serve had a standard deviation of 1.602 and the overhand serve had 1.207. In the control group, the pretest scores were 5.33 for the underhand serve and 5.67 for the overhand serve; the posttest scores were 6.80 and 6.93, respectively. The standard deviation for the pretest was 1.755, and the posttest showed a result of 2.301. The research results indicate that the use of audio-visual media did not significantly affect students' learning outcomes, as the percentage results from both groups were low. Therefore, it is recommended that the use of audio-visual media in teaching volleyball basic techniques should more effectively integrate technology in the learning process. Additionally, teachers should provide more creative audio-visual lessons that are tailored to the course material and students needs.
