Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of capital structure and financial performance to stock price at PT. Adaro Energy, Tbk. The types of data that the writer used are qualitative data and quantitative data. The source of data was used is secondary data. The analytical method used is multiple regresion analysis. The result showed that partially the capital structure proxied by DER had positive effect but not significant effect on stock price, while the financial performance proxied by ROA had postive and significant effect on stock price. Simultaneosly capital structure and financial performance have a positive and insignificant effect on stock price. R2value is 0,959 which means that 59,5% stock price can be explained by capital structure and financial performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of receivable turnover on Return On Assets (ROA) at PT Summarecon Agung Tbk. the period 2014-2019. This research uses qualitative data and quantitative data. The data source used is secondary data. The analysis method used is simple regression analysis, the correlation coefficient (r) and the coefficient of determination (r2). The results showed that receivable turnover has a positive and significant effect on return on assets (ROA) at PT. Summarecon Agung, Tbk. Based on the results of the coefficient of determination of 0.946, it means that the return on assets (ROA) is influenced by receivable turnover of 94.6% and the remaining 5.4% is influenced by other factors not examined. The hypothesis in this study is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of capital structure (DER) and profitability (ROA) on firm value (PBV) at PT. Kalbe Farma, Tbk This research uses qualitative data and quantitative data. The data source used is secondary data. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis, correlation coefficient (r) and coefficient of determination (r2), t-test and f-test. The results show that partially capital structure (DER) has a negative and insignificant effect on firm value, ( PBV) while profitability (ROA) has a positive and insignificant effect on firm value (PBV). Simultaneously, capital structure (DER) and profitability have no significant effect on firm value (PBV). Based on the results of the coefficient of determination of 0.36, it means that the firm value (PBV) is influenced by capital structure (DER) and profitability (ROA) by 36% and the remaining 64% is influenced by other factors not examined. The hypothesis in this study is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and determine the extent to which discounts and product quality influence purchasing decisions for Somethinc products, with product reviews as a moderating variable. The background of this study is based on the increasingly fierce competition in the cosmetics industry, which encourages manufacturers to implement effective marketing strategies, one of which is through providing discounts, improving product quality, and utilizing consumer reviews. The type of research used is quantitative with a causal approach. The data used is primary data obtained through the distribution of online questionnaires to respondents who meet the criteria. The study population is Somethinc product users who make purchases through the Shopee e-commerce platform. The sampling technique used the convenience sampling method with a sample size of 160 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with the help of SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of the study indicate that discounts have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, indicating that the more attractive the discount offered, the more likely consumers are to make a purchase. Similarly, product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, meaning that the better the product quality perceived by consumers, the higher the tendency to buy. However, the results of the moderation effect test revealed that product reviews were unable to moderate the relationship between discounts and product quality on purchase decisions. This indicates that while product reviews can be a factor in consumer considerations, their influence is not strong enough to strengthen or weaken the relationship between these two independent variables and purchase decisions. This finding has implications for cosmetics businesses, particularly Somethinc, to focus more on pricing strategies and improving product quality as key factors in driving consumer purchase decisions.
