Abstract

Abstract

This study examines the influence of the role of Leadership (LS) on Creative Performance (CP), which is still inconclusive, with addressing the concept of synergized-team consolidation (STC) as a novelty. STC has the ontology:  teamwork consolidation into a congruent goal to produce a cohesive-harmonious balance for optimizing creativity output in a work-life point of view such as problem-solving and open innovation. Teamwork is a robust capital for organizations to gain competitive advantage since it will developing qualified human resources through well leadership role. The study employs samples from top management of the fashion industry in Indonesia through survey. Empirical testing using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) generates equation CP=0.688LS+1.136STC+0.284CL. It concludes that LS has an indirect significant effect on CP through STC as a full mediator. This study solves the gap through STC for space fulfillment of the body of knowledge in the domain of teamwork efficacy. The study emphasizes the significance role of leaders in organizations to synergize teamwork according to their respective expertise in line with the development of the dynamic digital era to increase creativity. It is strongly recommending organizations to utilize recent technology infrastructure to work such as social media as well as facilities for learning through CL. Keywords: Leadership, Synergized-team consolidation, Social Media Use to Work, Cyber Learning, Creative Performance

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic gives an impression to the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Semarang City. 1538 SMEs experienced losses of up to 75% and even went bankrupt. It is caused by changes in purchasing priorities from the market, so SMEs must be able to think innovatively to maintain their business. Innovation will be attached to SME products that guarantee business survival. One of them is a catfish nugget product from Atmajaya Pond. Atmajaya Pond is an SME community service program partner that can sell as many as 280 packs monthly, producing 70 kg of fish for nuggets. This figure is relatively high for a home-scale business. The raw material for nuggets is obtained from cultivation through aquaculture, which occupies a limited area beside the house. The products were distributed in Semarang and surrounding areas. Currently, the high-cost burden in the production process is feeding, so making fish feed yourself is a strategic activity to reduce production costs. SME partner now has three root problems: (1) Fails in developing fish feed products because it cannot float. (2) The products need to be more competitive because they are still modest and less eye-catching, and the packaging is not represented as iconic. (3) Processed products owned by partners cannot last long. Thus, the direction of this program will build solutions that solve these problems, such as improving fish feed production, recreating the packaging design, and adding new processed fish products. This strategic program impacts increasing skill by 89.58%, increasing knowledge by 95.83%, and strengthening production by 20%.

Abstract

The development of geotourism is a trend in the field of tourism that is always being developed. The exoticism of natural tours in the environment of geothermal and volcanology activities will be proportioned to the potential risks that appear. The records of tracking from several countries show the fatal conditions from the effects of carbon dioxide emissions such as H2S, SO2, and CO that are emitted from unexpected geophysical activity, odorless so that they are not detected properly in geotourism zones that cause casualties of inhabitant and tourist. The aim of this paper is to provide a reference of the framework for the drone explore architecture for the requirement of monitoring in the environmental conditions of the limited GPS signal. This study implemented the Research & Development (R&D) method by using the Zachman framework. The study found that the development of the Early Warning System (EWS) as a part of mitigation using robotic technology such as the UAV drone becomes the solution requirement of the problem because the drone is capable of carrying sensors that detect harmful gases with a radius that is relatively low. The drone sensor will process the gas data with the permitted threshold gas ratio and send the collected data to the administration system. This case becomes a part of the disaster mitigation process in the geotourism field.

Abstract

R&D Transfer gives birth to an understanding of the importance of the role of the latest applied research in developing entrepreneurs to compete in the global market. The global market that continues to be dynamic allows the emergence of various access restrictions that make it difficult for entrepreneurs, so the existence of market openness is needed as an entry point for entrepreneurs into the global market. This study aims to solve the gap of a significant decrease in world export levels in 2020 by 2.1%. This problem is considered crucial because this is the worst decline in the last decade. The data in this study was taken through secondary data from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) and the World Bank from various countries on five continents in the 2019-2021 data period. The data is processed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis instruments. This study empirically requires that the existence of R&D Transfer can encourage market openness to increase the export rate with a direct effect of 0.577. Thus, R&D Transfer has proven to be able to create new applied research and technology that encourages the creation of market openness for entrepreneurs so that they can compete in the global market and lead to an increase in the National Export Rate. Therefore, the practical implications of this study show that countries need to encourage the existence of R&D Transfer through the fulfillment of Physical Infrastructure and Government Support to increase market opening for increased exports.
