Abstract

The focus of this research was to potray the phenomenon in field of education occured in Moslem muallaf Baduy community, especially in Islamic Education. From the result of this research, it was found that the quality of education in Baduy community was still very low. It was caused by some facts: firstly, it did not have enough teachers, the distribution of teachers around the area was not well-balanced, then the teachers got insufficient salary, next teachers still had low qualification and incompetence. Futhermore, the educational background of teachers and the real work application was not compatible, also, the implementation of the curriculum at school did not suitable with standarization of process and education mechanism. Another problem was the high percentage of people who do not continue their study and at last was the cultural restriction which did not allow their people or Baduy community to get formal education as well. Fokus dari penelitian ini adalah memotret fenomen dunia pendidikan yang terjadi di komunitas Baduy Muslim, khususnya dalam bidang pendidikan agama Islam. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan fakta bahwa secara kualitas kondisi pendidikan di komunitas Baduy Muslim masih sangat rendah. Kondisi ini disebabkan oleh beberapa hal, diantaranya;persedian tenaga pendidik yang kurang, distribusi tidak seimbang, insentif para guru yang rendah, kualifikasi dibawah standar, guru-guru yang kurang kompeten, serta ketidaksesuaian antara kualifikasi pendidikan dengan bidang yang ditempuh, penerapan kurikulum di sekolah belum sesuai dengan mekanisme dan proses yang distandarkan. Permasalahan lainnya adalah angka putus sekolah juga masih relatif tinggi, dan yang terakhir, masih kuatnya aturan adat atau larangan adat yang melarang Orang Baduy untuk sekolah

Abstract

The interpretation that arose in the 19th century with a distinct approach from earlier texts provided the foundation for this investigation. This study aims to pinpoint the characteristics of Hasbi Ash-Shiddieqy's fiqh interpretation style in Tafsir An-Nur. Additionally, the research utilizes a qualitative method through a literature review approach. Therefore, according to the results of this study, Hasbi Ash-Shiddieqy is recognized as a productive mufassir from Aceh, respected among educators, scholars, and reformist thinkers. Secondly, by using the tafsir as a tool for da'wah in simple language, it became more widely accepted among the community. Thirdly, among various approaches to interpreting tafsir works, Hasbi's tafsir falls into the fiqh category. This is evidenced by his emphasis on interpreting legal verses, which he dedicates a larger portion to compared to other types of verses.

Abstract

This study examines how culture can play an active role in efforts to moderate religion, namely through piil pesenggiri which is one of the local cultures of the Lampung community. This role is then analyzed based on the perspective of the Qur'an through the Tafsir Al-Misbah by an Indonesian mufassir, Quraish Shihab. This is done considering the importance of integrating cultural values ​​in social and religious contexts. The purpose of this study is to explore and analyze how local cultural values ​​can be internalized in the practice of religious moderation. The method used is the Mix Method which combines two types of research, namely field research and library research, descriptions of interview results as field data and results from library research. The main findings show that the Lampung community has a good understanding of the urgency of religious moderation. However, the implementation of these moderation values ​​at the practical level still requires further strengthening. This study also identifies that local cultural values ​​have great potential in supporting religious moderation in society. In addition, this study provides insight into the dynamic relationship between culture and religion, and recommends a number of practical recommendations that can be used as a basis for policies that support harmonization between the two.

Abstract

Keywords : Identity Politics, Qur’an Sayyid Qutb Tafsir Fi Zilal al-Qur’ān. Abstract This study aims to discuss identity politics in the perspective of the Qur'an based on the interpretation of Sayyid Qutb in his tafsir Fi Ẓilāl al-Qur’ān. Sayyid Qutb emphasizes that identity politics in Islam must be based on the principles of tawhid (the oneness of Allah) and hākimiyyah (the sovereignty of Allah), where Muslims should build their political identity based on Islamic values that uphold justice, brotherhood, and social welfare. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a library research approach, where data is collected through the analysis of literature from Fi Ẓilāl al-Qur’ān and other supporting sources. The results of the study indicate that identity politics in Islam can have both positive and negative impacts, depending on how it is implemented. If it is based on pure Islam, identity politics can strengthen the unity of the ummah and uphold justice. Sayyid Qutb also strongly criticizes identity politics oriented toward secularism, as it can lead Muslims away from the principles of the Qur'an. Therefore, this study emphasizes that the best solution in addressing identity politics is to return to the Qur'an as the main guide in building a just and civilized social and political system. Keywords : Politik Identitas Al-Qur’an, Sayyid Qutub, Tafsir Fi Zilal al-Qur’ān Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membahas politik identitas dalam perspektif Al-Qur'an berdasarkan penafsiran Sayyid Qutb dalam tafsir Fī Ẓilāl al-Qur’ān. Sayyid Qutb menekankan bahwa politik identitas dalam Islam harus berlandaskan prinsip tauhid dan hākimiyyah (kedaulatan Allah), di mana umat Islam harus membangun identitas politiknya berdasarkan nilai-nilai Islam yang menegakkan keadilan, persaudaraan, dan kesejahteraan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka (library research), di mana data dikumpulkan melalui analisis literatur dari tafsir Fī Ẓilāl al-Qur’ān serta sumber-sumber pendukung lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa politik identitas dalam Islam dapat memberikan dampak positif maupun negatif tergantung pada bagaimana ia dijalankan. Jika berlandaskan Islam yang murni, politik identitas dapat memperkuat persatuan umat dan menegakkan keadilan. Sayyid Qutb juga mengkritik keras politik identitas yang berorientasi pada sekularisme, karena dapat menjauhkan umat Islam dari prinsip-prinsip ajaran Al-Qur'an. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa solusi terbaik dalam menghadapi politik identitas adalah kembali kepada Al-Qur'an sebagai pedoman utama dalam membangun sistem sosial dan politik yang adil dan berkeadaban.
