Abstract

Topik kepemimpinan spiritual terus mendapatkan perhatian dari para peneliti. Pengujian Kepemimpinan spiritual telah banyak di lakukan dalam berbagai konteks. Namun demikian, pengujian peran kepemimpinan spiritual secara khusus dalam konteks staf pendidik maupun tenaga kependidikan di Lembaga Pendidikan Islam masih jarang dilakukan. Padahal konteks Lembaga pendidikan Islam memiliki karakteristik tersendiri. Oleh karenanya, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran kepemimpinan spiritual dalam mempengaruhi work engagement dengan dimediasi oleh rasa kebermaknaan dan keanggotaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Proses pengumpulan data menggunakan survey dengan metode pengambilan sampel secara sengaja (purposive sampling). Data dikumpulkan dari 269 orang yang bekerja di Lembaga Pendidikan Islam yang berlokasi di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan spiritual dipengaruhi oleh inner life dan kepemimpinan spiritual berpengaruh positif signifikan pada rasa kebermaknaan kerja dan rasa keanggotaan. Lebih lanjut, rasa kebermaknaan kerja dan keanggotan memiliki hanya memiliki peran secara parsial dalam memediasi pengaruh kepemimpinan spiritual terhadap work enggagement

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of spiritual leadership model on work engagement through the meaning/calling and membership. This study is a quantitative research using primary data collected through a questionnaire survey. Testing was conducted to 106 employees from the Islamic Hospital in Yogyakarta. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with path analysis was used to test the impact and to determine the model that best describes the relationship of the model. The results show that spiritual leadership with values, attitudes, and behaviors of leaders has a significant positive effect on meaning/calling, and membership of the employees. Further, meaning/ calling facilitates employees to enhance the level of work engagement. However, membership does not have a significant effect on enhancing the level of work engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of workplace spirituality in enhancing affective commitment with emotional intelligence as a moderating variable. The respondents in this research are the millennial generation who work in various industrial sectors in west Java. This study applies a quantitative method and the survey method is used for collecting data.. The number of respondents obtained as many as 203 respondents who have worked for at least 1 year and were born in the range of 1980-2000. Methods of data analysis using simple linear regression and moderated regression analysis (MRA). The results reveal that workplace spirituality had a significant positive effect on affective commitment and emotional intelligence did not moderate the relationship between them.

Abstract

The study's objective was to  examine the impact of Islamic Work Ethic on the affective commitment of non-profit organization through job satisfaction as a mediating variable. Research data collection was conducted on 201 employees of non-profit organization in Lombok. The research sample was taken using the purposive sampling technique. The results showed that Islamic Work Ethics has a significant and positive influence on the Job Satisfaction with unstandardized Beta value is 0.292. It strengthens the results of Shafique’s previous research in 2015 that Islamic Work Ethics has a positive influence on the Job Satisfaction of employees. Meanwhile, Islamic Work Ethics significantly affects the Affective Commitment through Job Satisfaction as a mediation variable with unstandardized Beta value is 0.911 (indirect effect). Then, it can be said that there is a partial mediation in this study.
