Abstract

This research is a quantitative quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The data analysis technique used factorial design 2×2 (two-way Anova) and t test. Research location at SMA NW Suralaga in the even semester of TP. 2020/2021. The research subjects of class XI IPS are 43 students who are divided into two classes. The results showed, (1) There was a significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental group (collaborating problem-based learning and mind mapping) which was better than the control group (conventional) with an effect of 70.48%. (2) There is a significant difference in the acquisition of learning outcomes between groups of students who have high achievement motivation better than groups of students who have low achievement motivation with an effect of 10.83%. (3) At the level of achievement motivation which are both high and (4) low, there is a significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental group (problem-based learning collaboration and mind mapping) which are better than the control group. (5) There is a significant difference in the achievement of learning outcomes between groups of students with low achievement motivation who study with collaborative problem-based learning and mind mapping models better than groups of students with high achievement motivation who study conventionally. (6) There is a significant interaction effect of problem-based learning and mind mapping collaboration, achievement motivation on student learning outcomes. Another finding in this study also proves that the conventional learning model is only suitable for students who have high achievement motivation and is fatal if applied to groups of students with low motivation, because it has implications for lower student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to produce learning media in the form of e-modules based android in the form of applications and test their effectiveness in increasing student independence and learning outcomes. The development research method uses the ADDIE model with field test design a quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest. The test subjects were 29 students. Data analysis used the n-gain score and paired sample test statistics. The results showed that, (1) the developed Android-based e-module learning media was very suitable to be used as an accounting learning medium based on the validation results of material experts of 91.10%, media experts of 89.67%, and supported by student responses that were very good at 87.64%. (2) the android-based e-module learning media is very effective and has a significant effect on increasing student learning independence, as evidenced by the average score after the application of the media is 87.76 with a normalized gain value of 0.71 high criteria and statistical test results sig. 0.00 < 0.05. (3) the android-based e-module learning media is very effective and has a significant effect on improving student learning outcomes, as evidenced by the average score after the application of the media is 89.63 with a normalized gain value of 0.73 high criteria and reinforced by the sig statistical test results. 0.00 < 0.05. Besides that, the application of Android-based e-module learning media is very possible for students to increase motivation and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBM) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran ekonomi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, yang melibatkan observasi langsung dan wawancara mendalam dengan mahasiswa dan dosen di beberapa perguruan tinggi. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan teknik analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola-pola yang berkaitan dengan penerapan PBM dan pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PBM memberikan kesempatan bagi mahasiswa untuk terlibat dalam pemecahan masalah nyata, yang mendorong mereka untuk berpikir analitis, reflektif, dan lebih kreatif. Selain itu, PBM juga meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam bekerja sama dalam kelompok dan mengkomunikasikan ide-ide mereka secara efektif. Dosen yang menggunakan PBM dalam pengajaran ekonomi terlihat lebih sukses dalam merangsang diskusi kelas yang mendalam, yang berfokus pada aspek praktis dan teoritis dalam ekonomi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa PBM merupakan strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa, yang esensial dalam menghadapai tantangan dalam bidang ekonomi yang semakin kompleks.
