Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze direct correlation of capital, man power, land size, and also production costs to income of red onion farming business; the impact of capital, man power, and also land size towards cost of red onion farming business; and the impact of capital, man power, land area towards income through the cost of red onion farming business in Sigi District. This research used primary data. Population was red onion farmer from three villages and the sample was deliberately determined considering that three villages are red onion producing areas in this district. Analysis for this research are using a structural equation model. From the analysis showed: (1) Production factors of capital, man power and land size had a direct and influential impact towards income; (2) Concerning the impact from production factor on costs, the capital variable had a positive and influential impact towards costs; man power variable had a positive and influential impact towards costs, and  land size had a positive and influential impact towards costs; (3) In terms of indirect impact, the variables of capital, man power and land size have a positive and influential impact towards income through mediation of red onion farming costs at Sigi District, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of gold mining on community income in Poboya Village, Mantikulore sub-district, Palu City. This research was conducted using qualitative and quantitative research methods. The data sources used in this research are primary data and secondary data with data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation, the data obtained is then analyzed into a conclusion from the research process. The findings of the study found that the Impact of Gold Mining on Community Income in Poboya Village, Mantikulore District, Palu City had a positive impact and a negative impact on mining. The positive impact of gold mining can improve the economy of miners, while the negative impact poses a greater danger, especially the impact on the environment.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze cocoa farming income in Makmur Village, Palolo District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. This research was conducted in Makmur Village, Palolo District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province in September 2023 - January 2024. Primary data was obtained from surveys and interviews using questionnaires with cocoa farmers as respondents and secondary data was obtained from literature and related institutions/agencies. The data analysis used is farming income analysis. The results of the income analysis of cocoa farmers in Makmur Village, Palolo District show that the average income of cocoa farmers in their farming business is IDR 29,551,909 per year/ha, the average expenditure from cocoa farmers' production costs is IDR 3,757,318 per year/ha, and the average -The average income from farming in Makmur Village is IDR 25,794,591 per year/ha. And the R/C from cocoa farmers' results is 7.87. The marketing channel for cocoa farmers in Makmur Village is farmers as producers → then sold to collectors in the village at a price of IDR 57,000 per kg. Collecting traders also provide a prime of IDR 1,000 per kg. Therefore, the more dry cocoa produced to be deposited with collectors, the more prime will be received and the prime will be received after 6 months of deposit. The government's role in efforts to increase production and income of cocoa farmers in Makmur Village, Palolo District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province, namely the Village Government, the Central Sulawesi Provincial Agriculture Service and the Sigi Regency Government carry out training and extension activities using a group approach. With assistance and training from the government to encourage farmers so that production of cocoa plants in Makmur Village can increase so as to provide benefits in the form of income to cocoa farmers in Makmur Village, Palolo District.

Abstract

Kerajinan batok kelapa Giska Craft adalah usaha yang memproduksi kerajinan seperti peralatan dapur, peralatan mandi, dan teko. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendapatan usaha. Metode analisis data yang digunakan meliputi analisis biaya yang terdiri dari TC, TR, keuntungan (π), serta analisis kelayakan (R/C Ratio)). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata penerimaan usaha ini adalah Rp7.450.000/bulan, dengan biaya produksi sebesar Rp1.382.166/bulan. Biaya produksi ini terdiri dari biaya tetap Rp37.166/bulan dan biaya variabel Rp1.315.000/bulan. Berdasarkan analisis data, pendapatan usaha Giska Craft adalah Rp6.067.834/bulan. Berdasarkan perhitungan kelayakan usaha (R/C Ratio) diperoleh nilai (R/C Ratio) 5.39 atau 5.39>1, Ini berarti bahwa setiap pengeluaran sebesar Rp1 menghasilkan penerimaan sebesar Rp5.39, sehingga total penerimaan melebihi modal yang dikeluarkan. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa usaha usaha kerajinan batok kelapa Giska Craft dianggap menguntungkan dan layak untuk dijalankan.
