Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of situational leadership styles on employee performance through a commitment to the Sikka District Youth and Sports Education Office. The number of samples in this study was 60 employees taken using saturated sampling or census sampling. Data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to 60 employees of the Office of Youth and Sports Education in Sikka Regency; 60 questionnaires were collected again which were taken by the census. In this study, the validity test was performed by Pearson's product-moment correlation technique. The analysis technique used in data processing is multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing using the classic assumption test, f test, and t-test as the basis for decision making. The results showed that there was no significant effect between leadership style and employee performance, with a t value of only -0.812 through the t-test. But there is a direct effect of the intervening variable of organizational commitment on employee performance where the t value of 2.222 is greater than the value of t table 2.004. The leadership style does not have a direct influence on employee performance and it turns out that through the f test it was found that it is more effective with the indirect effect mediated by intervening variables of organizational commitment. While the direct and indirect relationship of organizational culture has significant results on employee performance, it means that organizational culture has a significant influence on improving employee performance at the Department of Youth and Sports Education in Sikka Regency

Abstract

This study aims to describe the social studies teacher's strategy in managing the classroom to motivate student learning. This research was conducted in junior high school. The research method used is a qualitative method. Data was collected by means of documentation, interviews, and observation techniques. Data analysis was carried out in several stages, namely, collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and concluding. The results of the study are: first, the teacher's strategy in managing the classroom is related to the preparation of learning tools, the preparation of the classroom, and the psychological preparation of students. Second, there are factors that hinder classroom management, namely the lack of handbooks and teaching aids, as well as the decreased level of student learning motivation caused by facilities and rooms that do not support the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui : 1) Bagaimana strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di MTs Muhammadiyah Wuring. 2) Bagaimana mutu pendidikan yang ada di MTs Muhammadiyah Wuring. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah, Ketua Yayasan dan Guru. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa 1) Strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di MTs Muhammadiyah Wuring melalui enam pelaksanaan strategi yaitu : a) Peningkatan Profesional Guru, b) Pembinaan Terhadap Siswa, c) Pememenuhan sarana dan prasarana, d) Kerja sama bersama wali murid, e) Penetapan standar penilaian, dan f) Melakukan supervisi. 2) Mutu pendidikan yang ada di MTs Muhammadiyah Wuring dapat ikatakan cukup baik. Dari segi input yang berupa input sember daya, input perangkat lunak dan input harapan sudah cukup baik. Dari segi proses, MTs Muhammadiyah Wuring sudah cukup baik hal ini dapat dilihat dari pelaksanaan proses pengambilan keputusan, proses pengelolaan kelembagaan, proses pengelolaan program, proses belajar mengajar, dan proses monitoring dan evaluasi. Adapaun dari segi outputnya, siswa-siswi MTs Muhammadiyah telah banyak menuai prestasi dibidang ilmu pengetahuan, olaraga dan keagamaan. Dari hasil Nilai Ujian Akhir para siswa setiap tahun ada peningkatan serta setiap lulusan dari MTs Muhammadiyah Wuring dapat diterima di sekolah yang berkualitas.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the role of the village head in increasing the creativity of the economic development of the people of Kloangpopot village, Doreng sub-district. the people of Kloangpopot Village, Doreng District, Sikka Regency. Jenins research uses qualitative research, and data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the role of the village head in increasing the creativity of the economic development of the Kloangpopot village community, Doreng subdistrict, Sikka district, had been carried out. This can be seen from community participation in the implementation of Kloangpopot village economic development going well according to 3 indicators, namely through motivator indicators that encourage or motivate the community to involved in implementing economic development in the village such as carrying out the programs that have been given, the indicator of the facilitator is that the village head as a facilitator always provides supporting facilities such as meeting places. such as the village hall facilitated by the village head to discuss economic development in the village kloangpopot, the mobilizing indicator moves or invites the community to participate in taking concrete actions to develop the village, for example mobilizing the community in village meetings. While the obstacle to the role of the village head in increasing the creativity of the economic development of the people of Kloangpopot village, Doreng sub-district, Sikka district, is the lack of availability of human and community resources that are not yet professional in building creative villages.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the Village Government towards the Economic Activities of the Nebura Hamlet Community of Koja Gete Village. Qualitative research can show research on community life, history, behavior, or kinship relationships. This research took place in Nebura hamlet, Koja Gete village, East Alok sub-district, Sikka district, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) province. This research was conducted in February 10, 2023 - March 10, 2023. The technique of collecting data uses observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis can be interpreted as an activity of discussing and understanding data in order to find meaning, interpretation and certain conclusions from all data in the research. In Koja Gete Village, the government's attention has not been maximized for the community. The government has not prepared equipment and supplies for farming activities. For example: mills, tractors, and so on. Many problems are faced by the community in agricultural activities, especially problems with pests in plants, waterways, and also the income of farm laborers who do not meet their daily needs so they look for other alternatives to meet their needs.
