Abstract

The purpose of teaching and learning with the aim of improving the effectiveness and efficiency of learning objectives. This research was conducted at SDN 001 Rambah and at SDN 008 Rambah. Type of research is research development (research and development). The development model used is a 4-D model consisting of define, design, development and dessiminate. The define stage is done curriculum analysis, material analysis, and student analysis. Design stage is designed on learning tools in the form of RPP and teaching materials. Development phase is validity test through device validation sheet, practicality test through observation sheet of RPP implementation, teacher and student response questionnaire, effectiveness test obtained from student activity assessment. The dessiminate stage is carried out with limited scaling of devices. The results of the research on the define stage obtained curriculum analysis, and studentanalysis. The results of the research at the design stage obtained RPP and teaching materials that are designed following the learning steps using the PBL model. The results of research on the development stage of the validity test obtained the data that the average percentage of RPP is 89% and the percentage of teaching materials of the instrument validation is 90.8%. Practical test results from the implementation of RPP percentage is 92.04%, teacherresponse questionnaire is 91.02% and student response questionnaire is 89.2%. Furthermore the effectiveness test results obtained from student activity with percentage 88.4%.

Abstract

This study aims to find out character education in the 2013 curriculum and the curriculum and to find out the efforts made in developing character education in learning in elementary schools. This research was carried out in 003 Public Elementary Schools in the VA and VB Classes. The technique of collecting data in this study uses observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of the study based on observations and interviews showed that in the development of character education in elementary school 003 Rambah is still not optimally implemented, this can be seen from the learning tools used by teachers such as syllabus that does not contain character education and lesson plans that contain character education even though development needs to be done. While students in the learning process have shown attitudes or characters such as religious, disciplined and responsible. It can be concluded that character education at elementary school 003 Rambah is relatively good and needs development in its implementation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop and produce the student worksheet on Guided Inquiry by several criteria such as valid, practical, and effective. This research was conducted in SDN 002 and in SDN 003 Rambah. The development model used is the model 4-D comprising the step of defining, designing, development and deployment. The results of the study at the planning stage is obtained syllabus, lesson plan, and student worksheet that is designed to follow the steps Guided Inquiry learning model. The results of the study at this stage of development the validity test data showed that the average percentage of Syllabus is lesson plan is 87.5%, the average percentage of implementation lesson plans is 83%, the percentage of student worksheets of validation of the instrument was 86.2%, the percentage of student worksheets of validation media is 90%, the percentage of student worksheets of validation material was 83% and the percentage is 90% validation language. Implementation of test result practicalities of lesson plan percentage is 88.9%, the questionnaire responses of teachers is 87% and student questionnaire responses was 92.6%. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the test results obtained from the student activity by 85.9% and the percentage of aspects of the knowledge obtained by percentage of 89%, the assessment of students attitudes to the average percentage of 88.1%. This research resulted in the Guided Inquiry-based science learning with the criteria of very valid, very practical and effective

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in class V A at Tiga Hati Kepenuhan Hulu Private Elementary School in the IPAS ( Science and Social Studies ) Subject by using a torso as an instructional tool. The research was prompted by low student performance, where only 21% of students met the learning objective ( scoring 66% - 85% ), while 79% did not. A lack of student enthusiasm and active participation, along with monotonous and unvaried teaching methods,resulted in passive and bored students. Additionally, the teacher’s use of instructional media was not optimal. This study utilizes a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, conducted in two cycles, with stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection . the subjects were 29 fifth-grade students, consisting of 19 boys and 10 girls. Data was collected trough observation to asses student activity and test to measure learning outcomes. The findings of this research are expected to addres the identified issues by increasing student enthusiasm and mproving their evaluation scores.
