Abstract

Communication planning in the implementation of development becomes a guide in implementing development activities programs such as the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals Program (SDGs). As one of the central government programs embodied in the concept of sustainable development in Indonesia and the regions as the spearhead, the authors examine the communication planning activities of the Pangkep Regency Regional Development Planning Agency as the leading Sector in the implementation of the SDGs program in Pangkep Regency. This study uses qualitative research methods, which attempt to describe the object under study in the field. The data obtained through interviews, observations and collaborated documentation show the results, namely that the Bappeda Pangkep has carried out communication planning based on the strength of the source, processing messages, use of media or channels as well as determining the target of adoption or recipient.

Abstract

Facing the 2019 presidential election contestation of the Republic of Indonesia, competing presidential candidates face a variety of things, especially issues that develop ahead of the presidential election. This issue, which was packaged in the mainstream media, social media and online media, has had an extraordinary influence on the electability and image of the candidate. Various issues that have drawn attention are more concerned with issues of background, ideology, ideology and even to personal problems, which are very draining the energy of the presidential candidate to look for loopholes to refute, confirm or give an open statement to clarify the matter.In this study, an analysis was conducted based on the characteristics of critical discourse analysis through action, context, history of power and ideology to gain knowledge about the communication styles of presidential candidates in responding to issues leading up to the presidential election. The results show that the communication style of presidential candidate Joko Widodo is more directed to the systematic style while presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto is more spirited style.

Abstract

Kasus virus corona telah membuat dunia berkecamuk dan bergeliat. Kasus yang dimulai di Kota Wuhan China sekarang telah menyebar ke berbagai  negara di dunia termasuk di Indonesia dan media memiliki peran besar dalam memberikan informasi, baik media mainstream.  media sosial maupun  media online. Dalam penelitian dilakukan analisis terhadap framing berita kasus virus corona  media online terutama pada media Kompas.com dan Tribun Timur com. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bentuk framing berita kasus virus corona serta perbedaan media tersebut dalam framingnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis framing model Robet N, Entman, yang terfokus pada pendefinisian masalah, memperkirakan penyebab masalah, membuat keputusan moral dan menentukan penyelesaian terhadap wacana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, Kompas.com lebih menonjolkan berita secara global dan nasional mengeni tindakan pemerintah di berbagai negara dalam mengantisipasi penyebaran virus corona sementara TribunTimur.com banyak mengulas berita nasional dan lokal Sulawesi Selatan mengenai berbagai dampak  Covid 19.

Abstract

The aims of this researcher are: (1) To find out how the Venus Fm Radio Communication Strategy Makassar in Increasing Listener Attractiveness. (2) To find out what are the obstacles faced by the Venus Fm Makassar Radio Communication Strategy in increasing the Attractiveness of its Listeners. This research lasted for one month. The type of research used in this thesis is descriptive qualitative method, the data in this study were obtained from primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique is using qualitative data analysis. The results of this study indicate that the radio communication strategy of venus fm makassar in increasing the attractiveness of listeners is polite when speaking on the air, conveying relevant information, the language used is easy to understand. the program is made to suit the needs of listeners of radio venus and radio venus packs programs in an attractive manner every day updated according to the needs of listeners and broadcasts news with local content because local content is more popular with listeners. According to the target audience age 15-35 years. The strategy to be used must be considered selected and adapted to the goals of the organization or company. Radio Venus has 9 regular programs that are played from Monday to Saturday and has 12 special programs on Friday-Sunday. Barriers faced by Venus FM radio in Makassar in increasing the attractiveness of listeners From the obstacles above, namely from competition between media, namely good radio competition in programs owned and broadcasters owned. Radio Venus FM requires broadcasters to be able to do story telling, in order to make listeners feel comfortable and want to always listen to Radio Venus FM. Technical barriers are all obstacles, obstacles, and difficulties originating from supporting tools such as electronic devices and the internet and the existence of range limits and blocked networks if the electricity goes out.

Abstract

The radio program strategy is very important to be carried out by radio stations at this time, radio program planning is intended so that listeners are interested in listening to the program in this case it will support the sustainability of radio where radio competition is rampant at this time and with the development of communication technology nowadays more and more broadcast media appear. others that allow people to move to the media. The purpose of this study was to determine the strategy of I- Radio Makassar in increasing listener interest and the obstacles faced by I-Radio Makassar in increasing listener interest. This study uses the concept of Peter Pringle's program strategy which includes program planning, program production and purchasing, program execution, program monitoring and evaluation. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods by trying to collect data or information through observation, interviews, and documentation. This research was conducted for approximately one month and located at PT. Sonata I-Radio Makassar Voice Radio. The result of the research is that the strategy in program planning is carried out by creating unique content that is in accordance with the interests and needs of listeners, adaptive to the development of communication technology by strengthening digital broadcasts and digital marketing. In the production and purchasing strategy, I-Radio Makassar carries out production according to their respective duties and does not purchase programs but only collaborates. Execution strategy, placing the program according to audience activity. monitoring and evaluation strategy is to evaluate the performance of the team and broadcasters every three months and oversee the flow of broadcast content. The obstacles from I-Radio Makassar are technical problems, the audience cannot request the material they need because it is a one-way radio and has been planned by a separate radio station. internal, namely on the human resources of broadcasters who have jobs in other companies that disrupt broadcast schedules at I-Radio Makassar. External constraints on media competition, changes in the nature of society due to the development of information technology, with the proliferation of other broadcast media platforms

Abstract

This research is studt about the application of Laswell’s communication model theory by agricultural extension officers in activity of community development, for farmers in the region of Kab. Jeneponto. The purpose of this stuy to find out the theory of the communication model applied by agricultural extension officers to the community in the Kab. Jeneponto and to understand the acceptance of the community on the communication model of counseling in community development activities in the Kab. Jeneponto. The result of this study that the application of the theory of communication models applied by agricultural extension officers to the community in the Kab. Jeneponto, based on research conducted by the author, suggests that agricultural extension officers in the field have similarities with Lasswell's communication model. Because it includes five elements in the Lasswell model, namely: Who (who); What (what); Channels (media); Whom (who); Effect (effect). Public acceptance of the extension communication model in community development activities in the district. Jeneponto, namely agricultural extension in the sense of community empowerment, is a momentum for extension workers to be closer to the community, so that farmers and the community in general can obtain information about the development of agricultural technology in particular and social development in general. Agricultural technology information can provide economic and social benefits for farming communities. This study using qualitative metodes, sources of data used are primary and secondary data; primary data is a source of data obtained directly using the method. While secondary data is a source of data obtained through books and research journals.
