Abstract

Background: Visual inspection acetic acid (VIA) can be a substitute method for early detection of Precancerous lesion of cervical cancer. Therefore, efforts should be made for prevention to increase community awareness in recognizing the risk factors of cervical cancer so that it can determine the steps of prevention and early detection. Aims: This research is to determine the risk factors associated with precancerous lesion, a study case- control in Health Center of Semarang City Year 2016). Methods: This research is an observational analytic study with case-control design with retrospective study. The sample selection was using a simple random sampling method. The number of respondents is 98 people from 474 people doing the VIA inspection in January 2016 to December 2016, which passed the inclusion and exclusion criteria and divided into two groups, 13 people in case and 86 people in control group. Results: There is a relationship between the results of the examination of the precancerous lesion with the risk factor of the number of respondent marriages (P- 0.038), husband historical marriage (P-0.000), smoking exposure (P-0.000). Conclusion: Risk factors associated with the results of the examination precancerous lesion are the number of responden marriages, husband historical marriage, smoking exposure.

Abstract

Introduction: Keluarga yang merawat skizofrenia dirumah merasa tidak mampu dan berdaya terutama ketika skizofrenia mengalami relapse. Masih rendahnya pengetahuan cara merawat dan keterampilan keluarga dalam mengatasi masalah pengasuhan skizofrenia. Objectives: Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meng-edukasi keluarga supaya dapat merawat dan mencegah relapse skizofrenia. Methods: edukasi diberikan selama 3 kali pertemuan dengan tema yang berbeda, dilaksanakan pada bulan juli 2024 di Aula Puskesmas Kedungmundu yang dihadiri oleh 30 keluarga yang merawat skizofrenia. Pre-post-test dilakukan dengan kuesioner guna mengevaluasi hasil edukasi yang diberikan. Results: 80% keluarga meningkat kapasitasnya untuk memberikan perawatan dan mencegah relapse skizofrenia ketika dirumah dan membutuhkan teknologi sistim pakar guna meningkatkan literasi kesehatan mental. Conclusion: kapasitas keluarga dalam merawat dan mencegah relapse skizofrenia dapat ditingkatkan melalui edukasi, pelatihan dan literasi kesehatan mental untuk itu keluarga perlu didukung oleh teknologi sistim pakar.

Abstract

Postpartum blues is a temporary mental mood disorder. This phase will occur in mothers after giving birth, which is caused by psychological changes in the mother and emotional changes in a woman after giving birth. Efforts to prevent postpartum blues in postpartum mothers are through educational methods, one of which is using the media. Objective: To determine the level of postpartum blues in postpartum mothers before and after being given education through booklets and videos. Method: This quantitative research uses a quasi-experiment method with a two-group pretest-posttest research design. The respondents were 40 postpartum mothers from 2 intervention groups, and probability sampling was used using a simple random sampling method. instrument using a questionnaire Edinburgh Post-natal Depression Scale. Univariate analysis uses central tendency data (mean, median, standard deviation). Results. Rate of postpartum blues in postpartum mothers. The mean rank value shows that the mean value for the video media group is greater than the booklet group, so it is concluded that the mental health education video media group is more effective than the booklet group.
