Abstract

Background: Clinical pathway is an effective way to maximize patient outcomes by organize and standardize care processes. Clinical pathway bring impact to the patient treatment and the quality of care in hospital. This study aims to examine the impact of clinical pathway in effectiveness of patient treatment in hospital. Methods: This study was a literature review used PRISMA guidelines. Data obtained from electronic journal database ProQuest that published from January to December 2018 and used English or Indonesia language. The keywords of clinical pathway, care pathway, length of stay and mortality had been used to find relevant journal. Results: The search of electronic journal database found 1,937 articles. Articles that were not suitable with inclusion criteria must be excluded. Totally, 6 articles were relevant for this study. The 6 articles were conducted in USA, Belgium, Australia, India, and China. The analyzed from these articles showed that clinical pathway gave positive impact to the length of stay and patient outcome in the hospital if the resources of the hospital were ready to implement clinical pathway. Conclusion: Clinical pathway reduced the length of stay, improved the patient outcome, and reduced the mortality rate in hospital. To get the maximum benefit for implementing clinical pathway, the hospital must be prepared the environment and resources first before implementing clinical pathway.

Abstract

AbstractOne of the factors that lead to a decrease of ineffectiveness in the workplace is burnout. Burnout is asyndrome of depersonalization, emotional exhaustion, and a sense of low personal accomplishment. Theburnout phenomenon is found in almost all health professions. Health professions’ burnout is an aspectthat can affect the quality of healthcare services. This was a systematic review following the PRISMAmodel. The review was conducted by reading published articles written in English from 2014 to 2019from the electronic databases. A total of 6 full articles were included in this study. Some variablesshowed a positive correlation with health professions’ burnout, including age, gender, marital status, length of work, and income/payment. Burnout has a negative effect on health professions’ job satisfaction and affects the quality of healthcare services.Keywords: Burnout, determinant, health professions, healthcare

Abstract

Pendahuluan:Brand image merupakan cara pandang pelanggan terhadap merek tertentu. Brand image tersebut terbentuk sebagai sebuah persepsi terhadap merek tertentu yang diciptakan berdasarkan informasi dan pengalaman pelanggan terhadap merek itu tersebut. Dengan brand image yang baik, harapannya dapat mempengaruhi keputusan pasien dalam mengambil keputusan untuk memilih dan memanfaatkan layanan di rumah sakit Metodologi: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode narrative review, yaitu pendekatan pencarian literatur menggunakan online database yang Google Scholar dalam rentang waktu 2020 hingga 2023, dengan kata kunci “Brand Image”, ”Rumah Sakit”, dan “Keputusan Pasien”. Dari total 84 artikel yang ditemukan, dilakukan identifikasi dan evaluasi relevansi jurnal dengan tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menelaah pengaruh brand image rumah sakit terhadap keputusan pasien untuk memilih dan memanfaatkan layanan di rumah sakit. Sehingga dari jumlah tersebut disimpulkan terdapat 8 artikel yang dinilai relevan. Hasil dan Diskusi: Dari delapan artikel yang diperoleh, enam artikel menyatakan bahwa brand image rumah sakit memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keputusan pasien untuk memilih dan memanfaatkan layanan di rumah sakit dan dua artikel lainnya menyebutkan bahwa brand image rumah sakit tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikat terhadap keputusan pasien untuk memilih dan memanfaatkan layanan di rumah sakit. Kesimpulan dan Saran:  Brand image rumah sakit dapat mempengaruhi keputusan pasien dalam memilih dan memanfaatkan layanan yang ada di rumah sakit karena brand image rumah sakit dapat membentuk persepsi dan membangun keyakinan dalam ingatan pasien. Disarankan bagi rumah sakit untuk menciptakan brand image rumah sakit yang baik untuk dapat meyakinkan pasien dalam mengambil keputusan untuk memilih dan memanfaatkan layanan di rumah sakit.
