Abstract

The focus in this study was the implications of boarding school system at Asri Islamic Boarding School on the character building of students at SMP Syubbanul Wathon Tegalrejo, especially regarding how to develop and implement boarding school system to the character education of the students at at SMP Syubbanul Wathon Tegalrejo. This was a qualitative research, conducted at SMP Syubbanul Wathon Tegalrejo. The data collection techniques were observation, interview, and documentation. The data validity test was performed using triangulation of data sources. The data analysis used descriptive method. To conclude this research, boarding school model that supports character education of students is in the form of integrated learning through teaching-learning method (dirasah wa ta’li), making habit of virtuous behavior (ta’dib), spiritual activities (riyadhah), as well as giving a role model (uswah hasanah) by kyai/nyai and ustadz. In addition, the students’ activities are also monitored through regulations. All these are to support an education system that could result in virtuous character building of the students, where they are expected to be independent in many aspects of their daily lives.

Abstract

Education is teaching that aims to develop the abilities that exist in students. However, many schools are currently closed due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, the first work program was mentoring the student learning process in the Ngablak village. This assistance aims to make students able to carry out learning even though schools are closed. The following program is about the management of the Ngablak Village PKK. The existing Human Resources have not been able to contribute to the organization's administration. Through training in Microsoft Office Word and Excel, the goal is for PKK administration to run well. The method I use is PAR (participatory action research). This program was created because it needed to be strengthened by information obtained from the village head and not the development of existing activities. This program has had a positive impact on both the children and the administration of the Ngablak Village PKK.

Abstract

Targeted marketing management at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Syubbanul Wathon has played a role in building and maintaining public trust, which then contributed to the increase in the number of registrants each year. Madrasah Tsanawiyah Syubbanul Wathon applies the marketing mix concept which includes product, price, place, promotion, process, physical evidence, and people to attract prospective students and build a positive image in the community. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the marketing management strategy implemented by Madrasah Tsanawiyah Syubbanul Wathon in increasing public trust. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the marketing mix strategy implemented has succeeded in increasing the number of registrants significantly, from 290 registrants in 2019/2020 to 477 registrants in 2024/2025. Key success factors include the madrasah's flagship programs, competitive tuition fees, strategic location, effective promotion, responsive service, and adequate facilities. Students' academic and non-academic achievements also strengthen the positive image of the madrasah in the eyes of the community. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of targeted and integrated educational marketing management through the marketing mix strategy (7P) can increase public trust and interest in enrolling in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Syubbanul Wathon.

Abstract

The Salaman District Religious Affairs Office (KUA) is a leading agency with a primary and strategic position within the Ministry of Religion because it deals directly with the community in providing services in the field of religious affairs as a place for technical services. To provide maximum service, the performance of KUA employees is a factor that needs special attention. Various factors influence employee performance, and one of them is the leadership factor. This research aims to analyse the role of leadership in improving employee performance and analyse what obstacles to improving employee performance there are. The type of research used is field research using a qualitative descriptive approach. Research data was collected through interviews and observations. Interviews were conducted with the Head of KUA and Staff and Extension Officers at KUA Salaman District, Magelang. After the data is collected, data analysis is then carried out. Data analysis uses an interactive model consisting of data collection, reduction, verification, and conclusion. This research concludes that effective leadership is about giving orders and creating a work environment that facilitates growth, engagement, and productivity. The five leadership functions carried out by the Head of the Salam District KUA create a solid foundation for improving employee performance, proving that a holistic and diverse approach to leadership can provide a sustainable positive impact in the organizational context. This research found that two main obstacles contributed to the challenge of improving the performance of Salaman District KUA employees: differences in educational backgrounds and limited facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

The community service activity aims to enhance the quality and motivation of mathematics learning in Grade 1 at Al-Islam Ringinanom Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, particularly focusing on addition concepts. This service was conducted on August 8-9, 2023. The object or target of this community service activity is 10 students from Grade 1 at Al-Islam Ringinanom Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in the Tempuran district. The stages involved in this community service included field observation, coordination with partners, program socialization, program implementation, and evaluation. The utilization of the number pocket media in teaching mathematics to Grade 1 students at Al-Islam Ringinanom Madrasah Ibtidaiyah has proven to have a positive impact on students' learning outcomes. Before the intervention, the classical completion percentage was 50%, whereas in Cycle II, this figure surged to 90%. These results indicate an improvement in both the grades and the classical completion rate of students after the implementation of the intervention

Abstract

Covid-19 has a tangible impact on the learning process, namely the necessity of implementing bold learning. Bold learning ultimately requires educators to be proficient in using technology, but not all educators are ready to use technology in learning. This condition causes learning during the COVID-19 pandemic to be less than optimal, resulting in low learning outcomes. This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing how the correlation between the pedagogic competence of educators and student learning outcomes during the covid-19 pandemic. This research includes quantitative research. Research data was collected using two techniques, namely questionnaires and technical documentation. Research data that has been collected is then analyzed using statistical analysis of Product Moment correlation. Based on the data analysis, it can be said that the relationship between the pedagogic competence of educators and student learning outcomes is significant and positive. The results of this study can be achieved if bold learning during the pandemic requires adequate pedagogic competence in improving student learning outcomes
