Abstract

AVA Flowers & Gift adalah salah satu toko florist yang ada di seputaran Kota Denpasar. Pelanggan utama dari florist ini adalah para remaja. Segmen pelanggan tersebut telah menjadikan usaha ini fokus pada penggunaan Instagram sebagai media pemasaran utamanya. Pendapatan rata-rata tiap bulan dari usaha florist ini mencapai Rp 2.000.000,- dan biasanya selalu meningkat pada hari-hari tertentu, seperti pada Hari Valentine atau pada Hari Ibu. Salah satu kendala yang dihadapi oleh mitra adalah dalam pembuatan kartu ucapan. Usaha florist ini harus menyiapkan biaya lebih untuk pembelian kartu terutama apabila pelanggan tidak menyukai desain kartu ucapan yang telah disiapkan. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini telah dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mitra dalam desain grafis. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini antara lain adalah sosialisasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan, serta evaluasi. Sebagai hasil dari kegiatan, saat ini usaha florist sudah mampu mendesain dan menghasilkan berbagai macam kartu ucapan yang dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan keinginan dari pelanggan.

Abstract

The sustainability of processed food in Indonesia is inseparable from the role of economic actors, one of which is the home industry. Mrs. Farida Azis is part of the business activists from the home industry business group in Denpasar. The purpose of the community service is to find out 3 aspects partner's problems, namely aspects of flavor diversification, production management, and marketing transformation. The method used in this activity are observations, existing partners, survey of production and support equipment, Distribution of production equipment and flavors, packaging and logo design, distribution/provision of new packaging and logos, marketing transformation. The results of this community service activity have produced solutions from the production management aspect in the form of additional equipment, namely a 3-tray aluminum type oven machine, and an idea life multi-speed Premium Quality Idea life mixer (IL221s). While in the aspect of flavor diversification there are additional variants of cheese, almond, Choco ball flavors. Partners are also supported in terms of marketing aspects which have been given a logo and packaging that includes the partner's identity and marketing transformation, namely from the creation of Instagram social media under the name Farida bake. Overall, all aspects that are an obstacle for partners have received solutions that suit the needs of partners. The activity went well and smoothly and there was hope from the partners that this activity would not only stop until the community service program was completed, but could continue to foster other MSMEs that needed assistance.

Abstract

Malen Woodycraft is an Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) that focuses on selling wood carvings. This MSME is located in a city that is famous for its handicrafts. The purpose of this community service is to solve the problem faced by Malen Woodycraft, namely the lack of production capacity in business development, which has so far still used manual tools. This causes a lack of efficiency and effectiveness in creating carving artwork. This activity uses the Participatory Action Research method with Social Return on Investment evaluation. The result of this service is the provision of production equipment assistance in the form of a Jigsaw Machine and a Compressor Machine with the Speed H&L 6188 Lakoni brand. With the provision of Jigsaw tools, craftsmen can cut wood with higher precision and in less time. Meanwhile, the use of a paint compressor can produce smooth and even coloring so that through the application of science and technology, this production tool can improve the quality and quantity of wood carving products according to market segmentation.
