Abstract

The research was carried out on the science learning process on environmental material is one of the important topic. Students at the elementary school level have an important role play a role in protecting the environment around them. This research is carried out with the aim of improving Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) students in learning science on environmental materials. as for The research method used in this study uses Classroom Action Research with details of 3 cycles. The research was conducted during September-0ktober 2021 at SDN 054/IV and SDN 048/IV . The number of samples taken is 76 students. this research the treatment given is to play case-based learning videos in class.The results showed that there was an increase in students' HOTS in science subjects learning using case-based videos. The conclusion of this study is that case-based learning video can increase the HOTS of SDN students in the Teluk Teluk Subdistrict, Jambi City.

Abstract

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) merupakan bagian dari proses pendidikan yang berhubungan erat dengan pembinaan mahasiswa secara utuh serta pengembangan maupun peningkatan kemampuan masyarakat. Pada pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif adapun sampel kegiatan ini pada anak Usia Dini dan remaja , dimana respon anak-anak dan remaja untuk membaca dan belajar dengan adanya program literasi teras baca, Model literasi ini memberikan suatu hasil adanya peningkatkan dalam pembentukan karakter pada anak usia dini dan Remaja, berdasarkan hasil survey terjadi peningkatan pada awal kegiatan 46 % setelah kegiatan adanya peningkatan perubahan menjadi 85 % pembentukan karkateristik.  Abstract. The real work lecture (KKN) is part of the educational process that is closely related to the development of students as a whole as well as the development and improvement of community abilities. In community service this uses descriptive research with a quantitative approach while the sample of this activity is in early childhood and adolescents, where the response children and adolescents to read and learn with the literacy program reading core. This literacy model provides a result of an increase in character formation in early childhood and adolescents, based on the survey results there was an increase at the beginning of the activity 46% after the activity there was an increase in change to 85 % formation of characteristic.
