Abstract

This study aims to find out informal sector workers in Ambon city through case study. Determination of stratified random samples by first making the population classification according to certain characteristics and after that determined the number of samples with randomly selected system of 211 people, consisting of: people, seller drinks 109 people, fruit vendors 41, meatball seller 45 people. The data were analyzed quantitatively, in order to find out the utilization rate of labor force in the informal sector under study, the approach of the "Labor Utilization Approach" theory was used. The informal sector, whether viewed from the perspective of income, working hours, or education, is in a state of "adequate utilization". The informal sector workers in carrying out their business have earned some of the income they use to support their families and continue their business. The informal sector in maintaining its existence faces various problems. A particularly prominent problem is the lack of capital, the place of business, and the marketing of results.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the management of street children's empowerment at the Ambon Lappan Children's Independent Shelter.This is a qualitative descriptive study which provides an in-depth overview of certain social symptoms found at the Ambon Lappan Children's Independent Shelter.The data source in this study is the manager of a halfway house, street children at a halfway house and an official from the Ambon City Social Welfare Office. Analysis of the data used is descriptive qualitative by quoting information then presented narratively and then interpreted and made general conclusions. Abstract

This study aims to explain the impact of the Ketel Parigi eucalyptus oil industry on improving the welfare of the people in Buru Regency. This research is a survey research, where data collection is done by using a questionnaire. The results of the study indicate that the impact of the Parigi Ketel Ketel eucalyptus oil industry has an effect on improving the welfare of the people in Buru Regency. However, this increase in welfare can only be seen clearly in the increase in income, while the improvement and improvement of health and educational facilities, as well as transportation facilities have received less serious attention. In addition, the impact of the existence of the Parigi Ketel eucalyptus oil industry has an effect on improving people's welfare, namely the expansion of job opportunities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze community participation in the Pilot Project for ParticipatoryVillage Development in Southeast Maluku Regency. The results showed that community participation inthe Pilot Project for Participatory Village Development in Southeast Maluku Regency can be said to behigh and mobilized, although there are also some villages that show genuine participation. In relation to thegovernment's position as a stimulator of development, the community will actively participate in adevelopment program in accordance with the level of their needs, so that the program is carried outaccording to the wishes and needs of the community itself. The integrated role between the Governmentand social institutions will increase community participation in participatory development programs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze (1) the effect of income on the level of consumption, (2) the effect of the number of family members on the level of consumption, (3) the effect of the level of education on the level of consumption. The study was conducted in the South Leitimur District of Ambon City for 2 (two) months, from March to April 2022. The population used in this study were all the heads of poor families in the South Leitimur District of Ambon City as many as 1355 people. The sample is determined by simple random as much as 10% of the population as many as 135 people. The results of the study conclude that (1) there is a significant positive effect of income on the level of consumption, (2) there is a significant positive effect of the number of family members on the level of consumption, (3) there is a significant positive effect of the level of education on the level of consumption.
