Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya produktivitas karyawan kerajinan mebel ukir di Kabupaten Subang. Dengan demikian penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh upah dan pengalaman kerja terhadap produktivitas karyawan unit usaha mebel ukir di Kabuapaten Subang. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap karyawan usaha mebel ukiran kayu yang berjumlah 134 orang dari 20 perusahaan ukiran kayu yang ada di wilayah Kabupaten Subang. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif upah dan pengalaman kerja terhadap produktivitas kerja baik secara parsial maupun simultan.

Abstract

The application of e-marketing and packaging development for mealworms (Tenebrio Molitor) in service partners' business is motivated by the problem of the inability of breeders to meet market demand due to the lack of a wide spread of product marketing networks. Based on this, this community service activity aims to increase breeders’ knowledge, motivation and technical skills to develop online marketing and product packaging and expand the marketing network through online product sales and better packaging. The implementation of this activity is carried out with individual breeder partners for 3 months through the functional participation method by providing direct assistance with interviews, observations, and discussions with partners regarding the problems and solutions applied. The result of this activity is an increase in knowledge, motivation and technical ability of e-marketing as well as the promotion of mealworm products online, informative, illustrative product packaging, able to protect product quality and provide a good image of feed quality. The expansion of marketing and product packaging is able to increase sales of partner products.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low sustainability of soybean-based MSMEs (Micro Small Medium Enterprises) in West Java. This is due to the low long-term value given to stakeholders in the economic, social and environmental dimensions and the less-than-optimal role of leaders in realizing business sustainability. The purpose of this study is describing the business sustainability, stakeholder engagement, transformational leadership and analyzing the effect of transformational leadership and stakeholder engagement on business sustainability. This research was conducted using a survey method on 254 soybean-based SMEs consisting of tempe, tofu and soy sauce craftsmen in West Java. Data was collected by distributing a questionnaire, interviewing and observations of the unit of analysis. The data that has been collected was analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis techniques. The results of this study stated that the business sustainability of soybean-based MSMEs was actually better in the social dimension and relatively less in the environmental dimension. The ability of transformational leaders to influence their employees to achieve goals is the highest ability, while the ability of forward-looking is the lowest than other dimensions. In building stakeholder engagement, the leader's ability to build trust is the highest, while business openness is the lowest compared to other capabilities. In this study, transformational leadership and stakeholder engagement affect business sustainability partially and simultaneously.

Abstract

Background of this research was the low productivity of the employees of wood-carving in Subang district. This study therefore aimed to determine the effect of work experience and wage on employee productivity. The research was conducted on the wood carving business employees through observation of 134 people from 20 wood-carving companies in Subang district. The results of this study indicate that there are positive effects of wage and work experience to work productivity either partially or simultaneously.

Abstract

Pentingnya peran UMKM dalam perekonomian menuntut kelerlanjutan busni yang tetap terjaga. Pada kenyataannya, perkembangan persaingan, tuntutan pasar dan kendala internal lainnya menyebabkan UMKM tidak dapat menjaga keberlanjutan usahanya. UMKM merupakan usaha dengan karakteristik dominasi pengusaha dan karyawan yang menentukan kinerjanya. Dengan demikian penerapan HRM dalam mencapai business sustainability perlu dilakukan Penerapan HRM dalam mencapai business sustainability UMKM didasarkan pada teori resources based management for small firm (Koch et. all, 1998 yang merupakan pengembangan dari Resource Bases Value Barney (1997) dan Pauwee (1998). Penerapan HRM dalam meningkatkan business sustainability melibatkan pihak internal dan eksternal perusahaan, melalui 3 langkah utama yaitu partnering, engaging dan aligning yang didasari oleh budaya organisasi.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low skills of teachers in developing digital learning tools, as well as the need for teachers to prepare learning materials that suit the needs of students. In addition, current trainings are still conducted separately and need to be more comprehensive in integrating technology, pedagogy, and content. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the project-based learning method in improving the skills of developing digital learning tools. This research was conducted using a quantitative and experimental method with a quasi-experiment nonequivalent control group design. With a simple random sampling technique, 90 in-service teachers were obtained. Data collection by observation and test. Instruments are tests and non-tests. Data analysis techniques used one-way anova using the F test and Tukey's Post Hoc. The results of this study state that with the project learning method, there is an increase, especially in the skills of developing learning syntax in teaching modules, producing digital media, compiling digital teaching materials, and developing assessments. The conclusion states that project-based learning can improve the skills of creating digital learning tools in learning economics. This research implies that project-based learning is good for learning aimed at product development and continuous improvement of learning quality.

Abstract

Improving Internship work experience and work motivation is important to enhance students ' self-potential and train work readiness. This research is motivated by low work readiness and work Motivation. Internship work experience and work motivation is knowledge or skills acquired from practical work in the business or industrial world for a certain period. The problem formulation in this study is how internship work experience and work motivation influence the work readiness of the Faculty of Economics students at Wiralodra Indramayu University in the 8th semester. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of internship work experience and work motivation on the work readiness of the Faculty of Economics students at Wiralodra Indramayu University in the 8th semester who have undertaken internships at various institutions. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach with a data collection technique, one of which is a questionnaire given to students of the Faculty of Economics, Wiralodra Indramayu University, who have undertaken internships as a sample in the study. The sample used in this study consisted of 60 respondents. The data source used is primary data, and the data were processed using SPSS 26. The analysis methods used include classical assumption tests, simple and multiple linear analysis, T- test, F- test, and coefficient of determination test (R2). This research uses internship work experience indicators as an independent variable (X1) and work motivation as an independent variable (X2), as well as work readiness as the dependent variable (Y). The results of the research using the F- test show that internship practice experience and work motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on work readiness with a significance value of 0.000 0.05. Based on the t- test or partial test, internship work experience has a significant effect on work readiness with a significance value of 0.000 0.05, while work motivation has a significant effect on work readiness with a significance value of 0.000 0.05. The magnitude of the influence of internship work experience and work motivation on the work readiness of the Faculty of Economics students at Wiralodra Indramayu University is 0.494, equal to 49.4%.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the low business sustainability of MSMEs in West Java. In MSMEs, human resources play an important role in the development of MSME businesses. This study aims to determine the effect of sustainable commitment and competencies on the business sustainability of MSMEs. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach with a survey method of 209 fish processing business owners in West Java. Data collection was carried out by survey using a questionnaire instrument. Data analysis was performed with AMOS SEM. The results of this study reveal that the best business sustainability is in the social sustainability dimension and the lowest is economic sustainability. Sustainable commitment is mainly shown by a high commitment to reduce energy use, while sustainable competencies are shown by a better ability to motivate workers and collaborate with similar businesses. In addition, sustainable commitments and sustainable competencies affect business sustainability.Keywords: Business, Sustainability, Competencies, Commitment, Green

Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah perlunya peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat dan pemanfaatan limbah pertanian yang ada di kawasan desa wisata. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, pengabdian ini bertujuan optimalisasi usaha kerajinan ukir melalui pengembangan daya dukung pemasaran UMKM kerajinan limbah kayu. Hal ini dilakukan karena produk kerajinan belum menjangkau wilayah pemasaran yang lebih luas. Kerajinan kayu merupakan komoditi khas Desa Sunten Jaya sebagai desa wisata sekaligus mengurangi limbah kayu peti kemas sayuran yang merupakan bahan baku kerajinan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka perlu dilakukan kegiatan pendampingan peningkatan daya dukung pemasaran melalui workshop peningkatan kualitas kemasan dan branding produk. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan survey analisis kebutuhan, sosialisasi program pendukungan pemasaran dan workshop pengemasan dan branding. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah tersedianya kemasan produk kerajinan kayu berbahan dasar kertas daur ulang dan nama produk Saka Wood yang selanjutnya digunakan pada penjualan online. Diharapkan dari kemasan baru dan nama baru tersebut dapat meningkatkan penjualan produk dan pengurangan limbah kayu di lingkungan Desa Sunten Jaya.
