Abstract

The importance of a mathematical concept for children to master in pre-school for the provision of later in the future. Therefore, the use of monopoly media for learning activities is to improve understanding of the concept of numbers. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the implementation of learning the concept of numbers using monopoly media for children aged 5-6 years. In this study using a qualitative descriptive study with 5-6 year old subjects at the Marifatullah PAUD Karawang Post, totaling 5 children. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. Analysis technique: data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing or verification, and triangulation. The results of research in carrying out learning activities using monopoly media can provide an understanding of the concept of numbers, namely being able to mention numbers, being able to match numbers with number symbols and being able to add up numbers in learning activities with monopoly media determined by two dice.Pentingnya suatu konsep matematika untuk anak kuasai dimasa pra sekolah untuk bekal nanti dimasa yang akan datang. Oleh karena itu penggunaan media monopoli untuk kegiatan belajar untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep bilangan. Tujuan penelitian ini  untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai pelaksanaan pembelajaran konsep bilangan dengan menggunakan media  monopoli pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek 5-6 tahun di Pos PAUD Marifatullah Karawang yang berjumlah 5 orang anak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis: reduksi data, display data, pengambil kesimpulan atau verifikasi, dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian dalam melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media monopoli dapat memberi pemahaman tentang konsep bilangan, yaitu dapat menyebutkan bilangan, dapat mencocokkan antara bilangan dengan lambang bilangan dan dapat menjumlahkan bilangan pada kegiatan pembelajaran dengan media monopoli yang ditentukan oleh dua buah mata dadu.

Abstract

Thematic learning is a type of career guidance service that can be applied in early childhood education and is considered effective because its learning themes introduce various kinds of work. This study aims to analyze career guidance services for early childhood through the thematic learning process. The research employed the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method by reviewing five research journal articles and two undergraduate theses accessible online. Data were collected using documentation techniques and analyzed using grounded theory with the Straussian approach. The findings indicate that career guidance services can be integrated into thematic learning in early childhood education through learning methods and media that are easy for teachers to understand and apply. This approach is particularly effective when implemented by educators with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood teacher education, as it helps address the limited involvement of guidance and counseling teachers in PAUD. Furthermore, integrating career guidance principles into thematic learning through systematic lesson planning allows the introduction of work-related concepts to children through themes relevant to their daily environment, fostering structured and focused career development from an early age.
