Abstract

Dewasa ini, hubungan erat antara Indonesia dengan Republik Rakyat Tiongkok dalam berbagai aspek, mempengaruhi peningkatan jumlah orang Tiongkok yang mempelajari bahasa dan budaya Indonesia, maupun sebaliknya. Kebutuhan literatur mengenai bahasa dan budaya Indonesia dan Tiongkok pun semakin bertambah. Situasi ini mengharuskan banyak dilakukan penelitian terkait kedua bahasa tersebut. Penelitian yang dilakukan penulis kali ini adalah komparasi antara kata penggolong dalam bahasa Mandarin dengan kata penggolong dalam bahasa Indonesia. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah peneliti ingin menemukan persamaan dan perbedaan kata penggolong dalam bahasa Mandarin dan bahasa Indonesia serta penggunaannya dalam kalimat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan analisis kontrastif. Penulis membatasi kajian pada kata penggolong nomina dalam bahasa Mandarin dan bahasa Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan selain memiliki persamaan konstruksi sintaksis umum, kata penggolong satuan ukur dalam kedua bahasa ini juga memiliki ketentuan yang sama. Dalam kedua bahasa tersebut satu jenis benda (selain orang dan binatang) dapat menggunakan lebih dari satu kata penggolong. Perbedaan kata penggolong bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Mandarin terdapat pada jenis dan prasyarat penggunaan kata penggolong untuk orang, benda, prasyarat kata penggolong yang bisa dihilangkan dalam kalimat dan prasyarat kata penggolong yang bisa direduplikasi.

Abstract

Mandarin is the second international language that is widely studied in schools. Mandarin is unique in its tone, Han characters, and how it is pronounced. In learning a language, textbooks are needed that are appropriate to the level of the learner. Many schools include Mandarin as both intra-curricular and extra-curricular activities, one of which is Kalam Kudus Junior High School,  Bandung, with the aim of learning to target students to have four basic language skills namely reading, listening, writing, speaking with balanced competence. Of course, they also expect their students to be able to recognize Han's characters. This study focuses on the analysis of the use of the Hanyu Jiaocheng Book in Grade 8 Kalam Kudus Junior High School, Bandung. This study uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, questionnaires, and direct observation. From the research that the writers conducted, it was found that the Hanyu Jiaocheng textbooks used in Kalam Kudus Junior High School, Bandung, Bandung were still not relevant to the goals set by the school because the textbooks did not contain listening exercises, besides teachers and students found ithem difficult because the textbooks are in English as the descriptions. The writers hopes that this research can provide input to schools to review the Chinese textbooks used to improve the learning process of Mandarin in the future.

Abstract

Myths and legends have been told from generation to generation by being spoken from thousands of years ago. Myth in Chinese language is Shen hua (神话), shen means god, spirit and holy; hua is a saying, a fairy tale, an oral story. In the movie “Over the Moon”, there are characters in Chang'e’s legend story, such as Hou Yi, even the Jade rabbit appears in the movie. The portrayal of Chang'e's character in the film has undergone several changes and “Alih Wahana” by filmmaker's. Therefore, researchers are interested in analyzing the depiction of Chang'e in the film "Over the Moon". The purpose of this research is to analyze the portrayal of Chang'e's character in the film "Over the Moon". This study uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques in the form of documentation from the film "Over the Moon". The approach used is a narrative approach that focuses on the study of an individual. Chang'e's character in the film has changed from the story in the Chang'e legend, some of these changes are character and visual changes. Chang'e's character in the film is made narcissistic because of her loneliness, while Chang'e's visuals in the film are made attractive with bold makeup and magnificent and diverse clothing.

Abstract

Chinese Indonesian has a very diverse culture. On the other hand, people who are interested in Mandarin and Chinese culture in Indonesia are also increasing. Chinese Indonesian community contributes and has a big role in Indonesian history. The learning media used to study Chinese culture are very diverse, one of which is using documentary films. The purpose of this research is to find out the Chinese Indonesian community values that can be learned by the general public from the film "Once Upon a Time in Chinatown", as well as to identify how the film can be used as a medium for learning the culture of the Indonesian Chinese community. Researchers uses a qualitative descriptive method to analyze the cultural data of the Chinese Indonesian in each episode of the documentary film. The result of this research show that a lot of Chinese culture, especially in the culinary field, has been acculturated with Indonesian culture, has given a new color to Indonesian culture and other aspects of life. This documentary film fulfills the characteristics of documentary films as a Chinese Indonesian culture learning media because it prioritizes conveying the reality and processes of past events as scientific information, conveying messages, positive mental attitudes, and norms that should be imitated.
