<![CDATA[This article aimed to study the prospect of tithe as an instrument of the church in realizing economic justice. The industrial revolution 4.0 era has resulted in economic inequality, where there are parties who can reap huge benefits from the changing working way, on the other hand there are those who must be eliminated from job competition. In this case the church is called to realize one of the Kingdom of God visions, namely justice. This study was conducted by pastoral circle or practical theological circle method. Through this study, it could be concluded that like zakat among Muslims, tithe is an instrument of the church, of which it is properly managed in accordance with the true spirit of tithing, that has the power to realize economic justice.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract. Therapeutic is a branch of genetical engineering technology that handles the healing of genetical diseases. The way to handle it is by manipulating human stem cell. Because it was related in trying to manipulate human genes, it raised the question of whether this technology was an attempt to seize God's role of life and death. This study aims to provide answers and at the same time determine the position of the Christian faith towards therapeutics through biblical studies based on creatio continua and imago Dei concept. Through this study, it was concluded that therapeutic is a space for human effort in carrying out their duties as a co-worker of God to improve the imperfection of creation.Abstrak. Terapetik adalah salah satu cabang dari teknologi rekayasa genetika yang menangani penyembuhan penyakit genetif. Cara penanganannya adalah dengan memanipulasi stem cell manusia. Oleh karena berkaitan dengan usaha memanipulasi gen manusia, maka menimbulkan pertanyaan apakah teknologi ini adalah upaya merampas peran Allah atas kehidupan dan kematian. Kajian dalam artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan jawaban dan sekaligus menentukan posisi iman Kristen terhadap terapetik melalui kajian biblika atas prinsip creatio continua dan imago Dei. Melalui kajian tersebut ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pada batas tertentu terapetik adalah ruang bagi upaya manusia dalam melaksanakan tugasnya sebagai rekan sekerja Allah untuk memperbaiki ketidaksempurnaan ciptaan.]]>

<![CDATA[Pendisiplinan anak secara keras telah dianggap sebagai cara kuno dan tidak beradab pada era modern yang benar-benar menaruh penghargaan yang tinggi pada hak asazi manusia. Cara yang dipakai lebih banyak menggunakan pendekatan yang penuh dengan toleransi terhadap kehendak anak. Namun demikian, pada kenyataannya metode pendisiplinan secara lunak tersebut nampaknya telah menimbulkan permasalah baru, diantaranya hilangnya rasa hormat anak terhadap otoritas yang sepatutnya dihormati. Amsal 23:13-14 adalah merupakan salah satu contoh bagaimana Alkitab mengajarkan cara untuk mendisiplinkan anak. Melalui kajian terhadap teks tersebut dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa pendisiplinan anak dengan menggunakan rotan adalah sesuatu yang relevan untuk diterapkan. Meskipun nampak keras, namun metode pendisiplinan tersebut tidak melanggar hak anak, sebaliknya dapat membentuk karakter baik anak. Chastisement is regarded as out of date and uncivilized way in this modern era which gives great respect in human rights. Fully tolerance toward children will is the mostly to be used approach. In fact, nevertheless, this soft disciplining method appear to bring about new problems, such as the lost of children respect to the authority that should be respected. Proverbs 23:13-14 gives a theaching of the bible how to disciplining children should be. Through the text study, it is concluded that chastisement with rod is still relevantly implemented. Eventhough it is so strict, this method is not abusive to the children rights but forms children good characters.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract. The Pentecostal Movement is a Christian movement that puts the power and work of the Holy Spirit at the first place. This movement sought to bring back the biblical Christianity as experienced by the early church. As the early church experienced a rapid growth of new souls, so it is with today's Pentecostal churches. The problem that arises is often in the effort to win the soul there is a dichotomy between power ministry, as emphasized by the Pentecostal movement, with social action. Some churches emphasize only one aspect of the ministry. Through a structural analysis approach to Acts 2: 41-47 the researcher seeks to find the ideal formulation in an attempt to win souls as in the experience of the early church. Through this approach the result is that the power ministry and social action must be carried out by the church at the same time and in balance that ultimately make the effort to win souls effectively.Abstrak. Gerakan Pentakostalisme adalah gerakan orang Kristen yang mengutamakan kuasa dan karya Roh Kudus. Gerakan ini berusaha untuk mengembalikan kekristenan yang Alkibiah sebagaimana yang dialami oleh gereja mula-mula. Sebagaimana gereja mula-mula yang mengalami pertumbuhan jiwa baru yang pesat, demikian halnya dengan gereja-gereja Pentakosta masa kini yang juga mengalaminya. Permasalahan yang muncul adalah seringkali dalam usaha untuk memenangkan jiwa ada dikotomi antara pelayanan dengan kuasa, sebagaimana yang ditekankan oleh gerakan Pentakostalisme, dengan aksi sosial. Beberapa gereja menekankan hanya pada satu segi dari pelayanan tersebut. Melalui pendekatan analisis struktural terhadap Kisah Para Rasul 2:41-47 peneliti hendak mencari formulasi yang ideal dalam usaha untuk memenangkan jiwa sebagaimana pengalaman gereja mula-mula. Melalui pendekatan tersebut diperoleh hasil bahwa pelayanan kuasa dan aksi sosial harus dijalankan oleh gereja secara bersamaan dan seimbang yang pada akhirnya membuat usaha untuk memenangkan jiwa berlangsung secara efektif.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract. The story of the tenth plague in the narrative of the liberation of the Israelites from Egypt in Exodus 11:1-12:36, cannot be used as a paradigm that applies to all situations and conditions, including the situation when the Indonesian people were facing the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The text seems to be the encounter of various theological thoughts related to theodicy, monism and dualism. Therefore, what needs to be done is a close reading of the text to disclose its difficulty. Instead of spending energy trying to figure out who is responsible for calamities or pandemics, it is better to deal with them by following health protocols and using common sense.Abstrak. Kisah tulah kesepuluh dalam narasi pembebasan umat Israel dari Mesir di teks Keluaran 11:1-12:36, tidak bisa dijadikan paradigma yang berlaku bagi semua situasi dan kondisi, termasuk situasi ketika bangsa Indonesia menghadapi dampak wabah Covid-19. Teks tersebut tampaknya merupakan hasil dari pertemuan berbagai pemikiran teologis yang berkaitan dengan teodise, monisme dan dualisme. Maka yang perlu dilakukan adalah pembacaan yang cermat terhadap teks, dalam rangka memperlihatkan kesulitan ini. Daripada menghabiskan energi untuk mencari jawaban siapa yang bertanggung jawab terhadap bencana atau wabah, lebih baik menghadapinya dengan menjalankan protokol kesehatan dan memakai akal sehat.]]>

<![CDATA[Today's modern humans engage in both physical and digital connections through cyberphysical activities. Activities in cyberspace are no longer a supplement to physical activity but have often become the dominant activity. Cyberspace has become a second world inhabited by homo digitalis. Therefore, this paper aims to contribute to theological discourse in cyberspace through a Pentecostal theological perspective. To achieve this goal, we conduct a hermeneutic study of Psalm 104 and then compare it with Steven M. Studebaker's thoughts on the calling of Pentecostals as citizens of the city. The result of this study suggests that cyberspace must be treated as an arena for the creative work of the Holy Spirit, because cyberspace is the earth for homo digitalis who are called to work creatively within it. Abstrak Manusia modern saat ini tidak hanya terhubung secara fisik, tetapi juga secara digital di ruang siber (cyberspace). Aktivitas-aktivitas di ruang siber ini bukan lagi sebagai suplemen bagi aktivitas fisik, namun sering telah menjadi aktivitas yang dominan. Ruang siber telah menjadi bumi kedua yang dihuni oleh homo digitalis. Oleh sebab itu, tulisan ini bermaksud untuk menyumbang diskursus teologi di ruang siber melalui perspektif teologi Pentakostal. Untuk mencapai maksud tersebut, kami melakukan kajian hermeneutik atas Mazmur 104 dan kemudian memperjumpakannya dengan pemikiran Steven M. Studebaker tentang panggilan kaum Pentakostal sebagai warga kota. Hasil kajian ini menyatakan bahwa ruang siber haruslah diperlakukan sebagai arena karya kreatif Roh Kudus, karena ruang siber adalah bumi bagi homo digitalis yang dipanggil untuk berkarya secara kreatif di dalamnya.]]>
