Abstract

Background: According to Riskesdas (2018) the preschooler development index only reaches 64.6%. Based on the phenomenon in TK Pembina Cimahi, 5 out of 10 students have not been able to perform fine motor activities according to their age stages, thus the fine motor development need improved by providing appropriate stimulation, which one play a collage game, so that child was develop according to his age. This study aims to determine on play collage game affected of fine motor development in preschooler at TK Pembina Cimahi. The method used a quasy one group pre-test post-test with control group experiment, 16 respondents did a usual activity. Each group was measured with a checklist of fine motor development before and after intervention. The results of the t-dependent pre test and post test in the control group obtained p values of 0,417 > α 0,05, while in the intervention group obtained p values of 0,000 < α 0,05. T-independent test result showed there were differences in the average value of fine motor development after the intervention between the intervention group and the control group of 14,19. So it was concluded that, there is affected of play collage game of fine motor development in preschooler at TK Pembina Cimahi in 2020, with a p value = 0,000 < α 0.05.The results of this study the intervention group had higher average of fine motor development values, so it was expected that nurses could carry out collage games in accordance with SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) through the Toddler Family Development Program (BKB), which could optimize of fine motor development in preschooler.

Abstract

Nursing care for LBW / Premature babies requires critical and specific action from nurses because the problem in LBW / Premature babies is very complex and there are still many immature organs. During the Covid 19 pandemic, where contact between parents and caregivers was limited by isolation conditions, the management of babies with premature / LBW with the confirmation of Covid 19 had to adapt to new habits with the principles of caring for LBW babies in general. The use of Myra Levine's conservation theory in providing nursing care for LBW babies in the Covid room helps nurses in touching babies as little as possible to increase their energy abilities. Myra Levine's energy conservation theory becomes a nurse's guide so that LBW babies can be handled properly in the covid isolation room without having to experience developmental problems. Recommendations based on this case report that each special unit for infant intensive care, especially the covid isolation room, make SOPs regarding the installation of PICC in LBW infants and the use of PICC in LBW / Premature babies.
