Abstract

Research on the influence of Sports Massage manipulation with recovery and restoration with the manipulation of the Swedish Massage to changes of blood glucose after physical exercise. Expected with research, will get the empirical evidence that using the right recovery technique will accelerate disposal of fatigue to blood circulation and will produce glucose more quickly. The approach used in this study quantitatively with Experiment method, whereby uncovering treat Sport Massage and Swedish Massage. Sample SME student research is Gymnastic University Sand Pengaraian that add up to 18 people. Sampling techniques using Saturated Samples, where the entire population be used as samples. After the test, the sample is divided into two groups, namely the Group of Sport Massage and Swedish Massage. Each group consists of 9 people. The treatment is carried out 16 times meeting with the frequency of exercise 3 times a week. Based on the analysis of the data, then it can put forward several conclusions: (1) Sport Massage effect on decreasing blood glucose, which test data pre-loaded with 114,778 average mg/dl on post test increased by 14,889 mg/dl becomes 99,889 mg/dl on post test. with the result (thitung 9.55 > ttabel 1.86). (2) the Swedish Massage effect on decreasing blood glucose, which is the average data by 118.667 mg/dl on post test increased by 10,444 mg/dl mg/dl 108,222 being on post test with results (thitung 6.79 > ttabel 1.86). (3) there may be differences between the means influence sport massage and swedish massage against a decrease in blood glucose with the results (thitung 2.32 > ttabel 2.12). While the difference average rating ( = 99.889 mg/dl < = 108.222 mg/dl). Abstrak Penelitian mengenai pengaruh pemulihan dengan manipulasi Sport Massage dan pemulihan dengan manipulasi Swedish Massage terhadap perubahan glukosa darah setelah latihan fisik. Diharapkan dengan penelitian, akan mendapatkan bukti empiris bahwa dengan menggunakan teknik pemulihan yang benar akan mempercepat pembuangan kelelahan ke peredaran darah dan akan memproduksi glukosa dengan lebih cepat. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan metode Eksperimen, dimana mengungkap perlakukan Sport Massage dan Swedish Massage. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa UKM Senam Universitas Pasir Pengaraian yang berjumlah 18 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Sampel Jenuh, dimana seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel. Setelah dilakukan tes, sampel dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelompok Sport Massage dan kelompok Swedish Massage. Masing-masing kelompok terdiri dari 9 orang. Perlakuan dilaksanakan 16 kali pertemuan dengan frekuensi latihan 3 kali seminggu. Berdasarkan analisis data, maka dapat dikemukakan beberapa kesimpulan: (1) Sport Massage berpengaruh terhadap penurunan glukosa darah, yang mana data pre test dengan rerata 114.778 mg/dl pada post test meningkat sebesar 14.889 mg/dl menjadi 99.889 mg/dl pada post test. dengan hasil (thitung 9.55 > ttabel 1.86). (2) Swedish Massage berpengaruh terhadap penurunan glukosa darah, yang mana data dengan rerata 118,667 mg/dl pada post test meningkat sebesar 10.444 mg/dl menjadi 108.222 mg/dl pada post test dengan hasil (thitung 6.79 > ttabel 1.86). (3) Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh yang berarti antara sport massage dan swedish massage terhadap penurunan glukosa darah dengan hasil (thitung 2.32 > ttabel 2.12). Sedangkan perbedaan rata-ratanya ( = 99.889 mg/dl < = 108.222 mg/dl). Kata Kunci: Sport Massage, Swedish Massage, Penurunan Glukosa Darah

Abstract

Sport is a basic need for every human being at this time. This is because doing sports can prevent various diseases, including: diabetes obesity, cancer, injury, and osteoporosis. In addition, exercise is also known to reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep quality and concentration levels, and can increase self-confidence. During the current Covid-19 pandemic, exercise can be an alternative in maintaining immunity. Therefore the purpose of this community service activity is to build public awareness about the healthy living movement through sports activities. Partners in this activity are residents of the Tanjung Betung housing community, totaling 20 people. The activity method is through the transfer of knowledge and practice, while the steps are 1) counseling, 2) practice, 3) mentoring and 4) evaluation. The results of the activities include 1) partners' understanding has increased after counseling, and 2) partners can perform simple movements taught by the team. Assistance activities still need to be carried out continuously so that people are truly aware of healthy living.
