Abstract

ABSTRAKPoster adalah salah satu media komunikasi visual yang berfungsi sebagai media publikasi dan arsip artistik pada pertunjukan teater. Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis visual poster pertunjukan teater yang diproduksi Teater Sunda Kiwari secara manual sejak tahun 1979-1995. Adapun perumusan masalah dan tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) Bagaimana strategi perencanaan poster Teater Sunda Kiwari; 2) Bagaimana proses produksi poster Teater Sunda Kiwari; 3) Bagaimana visualisasi dan makna simbolis poster Teater Sunda Kiwari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa strategi perencanaan sangat terpengaruh oleh faktor anggaran biaya dan ketersediaan waktu produksi. Teknik produksi yang digunakan adalah teknik cetak saring dengan metode transfer. Ciri poster bergaya ilustrasi simbolik dengan dominasi garis lengkung dan siluet, tipografi memenuhi unsur legibility dan readability, namun memiliki kekurangan pada konsistensi dan proporsi anatomi huruf. Ciri tata letak menggunakan symetrical balance. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberi gambaran bagi peneliti lain yang ingin memperdalam dunia poster dan memberikan masukan bagi para desainer poster pertunjukan teater serta menjadi media penyebaran ilmu bagi masyarakat luas.Kata Kunci: Poster, Tipografi, Ilustrasi, Tata Letak, Makna Simbolis, Teater. ABSTRACTThe poster is one of visual communication media that serves as a medium of publication and artistic archive on theater. This study focuses on visual analysis playbills that is produced by Kiwari Sundanese Theatre manually since 1979-1995. The problem formulation and the aim of this study was to determine: ( 1 ) How the strategic planning of Kiwari Sundanese Theater’s posters; 2 ) how the process production of the poster Kiwari Sundanese Theater; 3 ) How the visualization and symbolic meaning Kiwari Sundanese theater’s posters. The method that is used in this study is descriptive qualitative analytic approach. The results show that the strategy planning is affected by the cost and availability of budgetary factors production. Production technique that is used is screen printing techniques with transfer method. Characteristic poster symbolic illustration style with a predominance of curved lines and silhouettes, typography meets the legibility and readability elements, but has shortcomings in consistency and anatomical proportions letters. Feature layout using symmetrical balance. This study is expected to give an overview for other researchers who want to deepen the world of posters and give some input for the designer of playbills and become the media of science for public.Keywords: Poster, Typography, the Illustration, layout, symbolic meaning,Theater

Abstract

This study examines the integration of oil palm commodities and cattle to empower farmers’ economic in East Aceh, Aceh Province, Indonesia. Even though, this paper only focus on empowerment process with aim to discover an integration process of oil palm and cattle made by oil palm farmers. This study used a qualitative approach to analyze data. The results showed that the process of integration of oil palm and cattle are practiced by oil palm farmers without adequate knowledge. In addition, the integration also has done between cattle breeders and oil palm farmers. However local authorities (Aceh Province and East Aceh) have not given the attention for this program to empower the farmers with education and training skill to integrate oil palm and cattle. Whereas such as this program is commonly practiced in Indonesia.

Abstract

Rapid industrialization gives direct impact on the environmental conditions in Gresik Regency. One attempt to maintain the balance of nature due to the rapid industrialization and rapid urban development is providing enough green open space (GOS) through GOS management program. GOS not only serves to reduce air pollution caused by pollution from existing industry, but also securing the disaster area, oxygen producer, control local climate, water resources and to improve the aesthetics of urban spatial structure. Thus it is important to provide GOS not only for healthy environment but also for sustainable development. By law number 26 of 2007 regarding the Spatial Planning in article 29 states that the proportion of green space in urban areas at least 30 (thirty) percent of the area, where the proportion of public GOS in urban areas at least 20 (twenty) percent of the area, and 10 (ten) percent for private GOS, which it is in line with Gresik local regulation no 10 of 2010 regarding Green Open Space Arrangement. This research used descriptive case study method. The design of this case study is single-case design. The single case study is analogous to a single experiment. This research was conducted in Gresik regency, East Java Province. Gresik regency is known as industrial city in East Java. This condition gives huge impact on environmental degradation especially related to land use.Keywords: Development, Green Open Space, Environment

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi Perda Kota Malang Nomor 16 Tahun 2010 tentang pemungutan pajak hotel kategori rumah kos di kota malang. Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah tuntutan pemaksimalan perolehan pendapatan asli daerah sebagai bentuk proses desentralisasi di Indonesia. Pemerintah kota Malang melihat potensi sebaran rumah kos di wilayahnya sebagai dampak dari banyaknya perguruan tinggi dan potensi wisata di kota Malang dapat dimanfaatkan dengan menarik pajak dari potensi tersebut. Perlu dikaji apakah implementasi pemungutan pajak hotel kategori kos sudah sesuai dengan peraturan yang ada dan mencapai target nya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Peneliti menggunakan metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu secara umum implementasi Perda Nomor 16 Tahun 2010 tentang pemungutan pajak hotel kategori rumah kos di Kota Malang sudah berjalan dengan efektif namun tidak efisien. Penyebab utamanya adalah bentuk komunikasi antara implementor dan sasaran yang belum terjalin dengan baik. Peraturan yang lebih terperinci terkait penarikan pajak hotel kategori rumah kos juga dirasa diperlukan, karena akan membantu implementor dalam menjalankan kebijakan ini yang tergolong masih baru di kota Malang.  Kata Kunci:   Implementasi kebijakan, Pemungutan pajak, Pajak hotel kategori rumah kos
