Abstract

Many students find it challenging to learn Mathematics. Mixed operations are one of the materials that are difficult to understand. Educators must use innovative learning models, including the Snakes and Ladders Game media. Therefore, this study aims to determine the improvement of student learning achievement through learning with games, namely snakes and ladders. The method used in this research is classroom action research (PTK). This research was carried out with three cycles. The subjects of this study were grade VI students of SD Negeri Langenharjo 02, Sukoharjo Regency, with 13 students. A total of 10 items were used in this study to measure student learning achievement. This study's results showed an increase in the average score from cycle I to cycle II. The average produced in cycle I was 27.69. In cycle II, an average score of 73.08 was produced; in cycle III, an average of 96.92 was obtained. The gain score obtained was 0.627, and the percentage increase was 62.7% in cycles I and II. Then, in cycles II and III, there was a gain score of 0.885 with a percentage of 88.5%. These results show an increase in the average learning achievement of SD Negeri Langenharjo 02 grade VI students through the Snakes and Ladders game.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika SMA dengan pendekatan kontekstual sebagai perangkat pembelajaran matematika yang layak dan efektif selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Research and Development. Penelitian pengembangan menggunakan modifikasi model Thiagaran atau lebih dikenal dengan 4D dengan tahap pendefisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop), dan penyebaran (dessiminate).Sebelum diujicobakan di lapangan, perangkat pembelajaran matematika SMA dengan pendekatan kontekstual terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji validasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Selain itu diperlukan juga angket tanggapan siswa mengenai media tersebut. Hasil dari validasi ahli dan angket siswa sebagian besar berkriteria sangat baik. Jadi perangkat pembelajaran matematika tersebut valid untuk diujicobakan. Uji keefektifan media menggunakan uji t pihak kanan yang hasil analisisnya diperoleh Ho ditolak, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran matematika SMA dengan pendekatan kontekstual lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional pada materi trigonometri. Abstract

This study aims to describe the mathematical communication skills of eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Jatiroto in statistical material. This research is a qualitative research. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII E SMP Negeri 2 Jatiroto. Data collection techniques used in this study were tests and interviews. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.  The results of this study, the subjects selected were 6 students with 2 subjects of high achievement, 2 subjects of moderate achievement, and 2 subjects of low achievement. With high achievement subjects meeting the 5 indicators of mathematical communication ability given, medium achievement subjects meeting 2 indicators of given mathematical communication skills, and low achievement subjects fulfilling 1 indicator of given mathematical communication skills. The conclusions of the study indicate that the mathematical communication skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Jatiroto in statistical material are as follows: (1) students with high achievement have good mathematical communication skills, (2) students with moderate achievement have quite good mathematical communication skills, (3) students with low achievement have poor mathematical communication skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi orang tua terhadap pembelajaran matematika secara daring kelas VII pada salah satu Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Sukoharjo tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pada penelitian ini, pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi metode. Data yang diperoleh dari angket persepsi orang tua menunjukkan bahwa persentase pada aspek 1 (perhatian) sebesar 81,875% sehingga termasuk pada kategori positif, pada aspek 2 (penerimaan) sebesar 72,768% sehingga pada kategori positif dan pada aspek 3 (penilaian) sebesar 60,517% dan termasuk pada kategori kurang positif. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi orang tua terhadap pembelajaran matematika secara daring kelas VII pada salah satu SMP di Sukoharjo termasuk pada kategori positif meskipun ada beberapa kendala atau hambatan pada pelaksanaannya. Persepsi positif dan kendala yang dihadapi orang tua dalam pembelajaran matematika secara daring dapat menjadi dukungan dan masukkan bagi guru agar dapat meminimalisasi atau mengatasi kendala pembelajaran matematika secara daring. This study aims to describe parents' perceptions of online mathematics learning for class VII at one of the Junior High Schools (SMP) in Sukoharjo for the 2021/2022 academic year. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used in the form of questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. In this study, checking the validity of the data using the triangulation method. The data obtained from the parental perception questionnaire showed that the percentage in aspect 1 (attention) was 81.875% so that it was included in the positive category, in aspect 2 (acceptance) was 72.768% so that in the positive category and in aspect 3 (assessment) was 60.517% and included in the less positive category. The conclusion from the results of the study showed that the parents' perception of online mathematics learning in class VII at one of the junior high schools in Sukoharjo was included in the positive category although there were several obstacles or obstacles in its implementation. Positive perceptions and obstacles faced by parents in learning mathematics online can be a support and input for teachers in order to minimize or overcome obstacles in learning mathematics online.
