Abstract

Penguatan karakter bangsa merupakan salah satu tujuan utama pendidikan nasional yang menjadi respon atas berbagai tantangan sosial, budaya, dan moral di era globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi. Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) memiliki peran strategis dalam upaya tersebut karena mengandung nilai-nilai moral dan spiritual yang selaras dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila dan budaya bangsa Indonesia. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam penguatan karakter bangsa melalui pendekatan studi literatur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik studi pustaka, dengan menganalisis berbagai sumber berupa buku ilmiah, artikel jurnal, dokumen kebijakan pendidikan, serta peraturan perundang-undangan yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Pendidikan Agama Islam berperan penting dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai religius, kejujuran, integritas, toleransi, tanggung jawab, disiplin, dan kepedulian sosial yang menjadi fondasi pembentukan karakter individu dan bangsa. Namun demikian, implementasi Pendidikan Agama Islam di sekolah masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti keterbatasan alokasi waktu pembelajaran, pendekatan pembelajaran yang kurang kontekstual, lemahnya sinergi antara sekolah, keluarga, dan masyarakat, serta pengaruh globalisasi dan teknologi informasi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya optimalisasi melalui pengembangan kurikulum yang berorientasi pada penguatan karakter, peningkatan kompetensi guru, serta penciptaan lingkungan pendidikan yang kondusif dan sinergis agar Pendidikan Agama Islam dapat berfungsi secara efektif dalam membangun karakter bangsa Indonesia.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan dalam Islam tidak hanya berfokus pada posisi atau kekuasaan, tetapi lebih pada prinsip-prinsip moral dan etika yang mengedepankan keadilan, tanggung jawab, dan pelayanan kepada umat. Pendidikan agama Islam, sebagai salah satu pilar penting dalam pembentukan karakter, memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk generasi yang memiliki kualitas kepemimpinan yang tidak hanya cerdas, tetapi juga berbasis nilai-nilai Islam yang mendalam. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menggali peran guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam membentuk pemimpin sosial melalui keterlibatan dalam kegiatan sosial dan kepemimpinan di komunitas. Guru tidak hanya bertugas mengajarkan pengetahuan agama, tetapi juga menjadi teladan dalam pengembangan karakter dan kepemimpinan siswa. Melalui pendekatan pembelajaran yang melibatkan kegiatan sosial, siswa dapat mengembangkan kemampuan kepemimpinan mereka dengan mempraktikkan nilai-nilai Islam dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan menyoroti peran aktif guru dalam mengarahkan siswa untuk terlibat dalam kegiatan kemasyarakatan, artikel ini akan mengeksplorasi bagaimana pendidikan agama Islam dapat menjadi sarana untuk membangun pemimpin masa depan yang memiliki integritas, empati, dan tanggung jawab sosial. Selain itu, artikel ini juga akan membahas tantangan dan peluang yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam mengintegrasikan pembelajaran kepemimpinan sosial berbasis Islam dalam kurikulum pendidikan agama..

Abstract

The cultivation of moral values among elementary school students is a crucial process in shaping religious and ethical character from an early age. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers play a central role in guiding students; however, the success of this process significantly depends on synergy with parents. This study aims to describe the forms of synergy between PAI teachers and parents in instilling moral values at SD Negeri Lebaksari, as well as to identify its supporting and inhibiting factors. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method, using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that synergy takes place through digital communication, joint religious activities, and the reporting of students' development. Supporting factors include mutual awareness of the importance of moral education and the principal’s support, while the main obstacles are the lack of parental understanding and their busy schedules. This study underscores the importance of active and continuous collaboration between schools and families in nurturing a generation with noble character. Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of teacher role models in internalizing the values ​​of character education of discipline and responsibility to students at SMP Wahid Hasyim Sumberwudi. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection methods through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The subjects of the study included the principal and teachers. The results of the study indicate that teacher role models are a key factor in shaping students' character. Teachers not only convey the values ​​of discipline and responsibility verbally, but also provide concrete examples in everyday life in the school environment. Internalization of these values ​​takes place through routine interactions between teachers and students, consistent application of rules, and positive behavioral habits. This study concludes that teacher role models have a significant influence in shaping students' character of discipline and responsibility, so it is important for schools to continue to encourage a culture of role models as part of a character education strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in shaping students' character through muhadhoroh activities at SMK Muhammadiyah 6 Modo. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that PAI teachers are involved in designing, guiding, and evaluating muhadhoroh as a medium for character building. The characters developed include responsibility, courage, discipline, self-confidence, and leadership. Challenges encountered include limited student interest, time constraints, and inadequate facilities. Efforts to overcome these challenges involve providing motivation, actively engaging students, and enhancing teacher collaboration. The study concludes that muhadhoroh activities play a strategic role in character development when supported by the consistent and structured involvement of PAI teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of parental role models on the formation of students' religious character at Hasyim Asy'ari Vocational High School, Pucuk District, Lamongan Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression method. The study population was 83 students, while the sample was 69 students determined using the Slovin formula. Data collection methods were carried out through questionnaires, observation, and participation. The research instrument has undergone validity and reliability tests using IBM SPSS operations. The results of the validity test show that all specific statements have a significance value of 0.05. Simple linear regression analysis produces the equation Y = 20.770 + 0.698 X which indicates a positive influence between parental role models on students' religious character. The t-test results reached a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, therefore H1 is accepted. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.547 indicates that parental role models contribute 54.7% to the formation of students' religious character, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside the study. The findings of this study emphasize the importance of parental role models in shaping students' religious character through the application of religious values ​​in everyday life.
