Abstract

Lombok Island in Indonesia has been selected as the World's Best Halal Tourism Destination and World's Best Halal Honeymoon Destination in the World Halal Tourism Summit in Dubai 2015 (Khoiriati, 2018). Lombok Island has also been ranked as the Best Halal Travel Destination in Indonesia according to IMTI 2018 and was also named the best halal destination in the international arena in tourism (Ramadhani, 2020). However, the Lombok Earthquake 2018 and the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 had an impact on Lombok tourism. Loyok village in Lombok as a tourist village that produces woven bamboo crafts is also experiencing marketing problems, namely the decreasing number of sales. In this research, the solution taken in the marketing problem of woven bamboo handicraft products is carried out through the development and implementation of an online shop website. The development method chosen is the waterfall method. System design includes flowchart systems, modeling and database design. In the coding process, the programming language used is PHP 7.0 and MySQL 5.0 database. Implementation has been carried out online and can be accessed via domain anyamandesaloyok.com

Abstract

Tete Batu is a tourist village that has a charm of beauty and very interesting scenery, and has even represented Indonesia as a participant in the 2021 Best Tourism Village competition held by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). However, there were several problems found in the observations including the lack of visitors coming, lack of public awareness of the value of tourism and inadequate location access. The solution offered in this study is the development of an Android-based Geographic Information System for tourist destinations in Tete Batu Village. The development method uses a waterfall which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. The results of application testing show an average user rating of 78.6% or in the good category.Keywords: Geographic Information System; Tourism promotion; Android based; waterfalls; User acceptance testing AbstrakTete Batu merupakan sebuah desa wisata yang memiliki pesona keindahan dan pemandangan yang sangat menarik, bahkan pernah mewakili Indonesia menjadi peserta kompetisi Desa Wisata Terbaik tahun 2021 yang dilenggarakan oleh United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). Namun demikian ada beberapa permasalahan yang ditemukan dalam observasi diantaranya kurangnya pengunjung yang datang, kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap nilai wisata dan akses lokasi yang kurang memadai. Solusi yang ditawarkan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengembangan Sistem Informasi Geografis destinasi wisata Desa Tete Batu Berbasis Android. Metode pengembangan menggunakan waterfall yang terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu analysis, design, implementation, testing dan maintenance. Hasil pengujian aplikasi menunjukkan rata-rata penilaian pengguna sebesar 78,6% atau dalam kategori baik.
