Abstract

Tujuan studi ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakter utama  dalam perilaku orang-orang arif. Orang arif (‘ârif ) adalah orang yang telah mencapai derajat manusia paripurna (insan kamil). Mereka  dibesarkan dalam tradisi Islam (tasawuf) dan berlatar belakang pendidikan pondok pesantren, meskipun kemudian mereka menjadi akademisi dan pejabat pemerintah. Untuk mencapai tujuan dilakukan studi tokoh, melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumen. Tokoh ‘ârif yang distudi meliputi pimpinan pondok pesantren Suryalaya Tasikmalaya, seorang dosen IAIN Walisongo Semarang dan Gubernur NTB. Analisis data dengan  reduksi, display data dan menarik  simpulan. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa ada lima karakter utama mereka, yakni kenal Allah (makrifatullah), cinta Allah dan Rasul-Nya, sangat mementingkan orang lain, kesatria dan produktif. Implikasi temuan studi adalah agar karakter utama tersebut  diwujudkan melalui pendidikan dan bimbing-an. Karena itu, perlu dikembangkan model pendidikan dan bimbingan untuk mengembangkan perilaku arif dengan mencontoh karakter orang arif. Kata kunci: karakter utama, orang arif, pendidikan dan bimbingan

Abstract

Abstract: Neo-sufism is the recent Sufi movement that actively develops society. Historically, sufism has brought forth arif billâh individuals who have great faith and devotion to Allah, excellent pedagogical competence, as well as social and professional skills. This study aims to construct the meeting point between neo-sufism character and school counselor competence. It was carried out using a qualitative approach with the Hermeneutic analysis from Paul Ricoeur. The data was obtained from documents and interviews. The results reveal the meeting point between neo-sufism character and four counselors competencies. Makrifatullah (depth comprehension of God) character is linear with pedagogical and personality competence. Prioritizing other people (itsar) and noble (futuwwah) character are in line with social competence; meanwhile, creative-productive (intajiyyah) character is in accordance with professional competence. Therefore, neo-sufism character transforms counselors’ competencies to be more significant and meaningful.Abstrak: Neo-sufisme adalah sebuah gerakan sufi baru yang aktif membangun masyarakat. Dalam sejarahnya, sufisme telah melahirkan pribadi arif billâh, yang arif-bijaksana karena Allah, yang atas nama Allah mampu sebagai penyembuh. Sementara itu, salah satu kompetensi kepribadian konselor adalah beriman dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan, di samping kompetensi pedagogik, sosial dan profesional. Tujuan artikel ini adalah mengkonstruksi titik-temu karakter neo-sufisme dengan kompetensi konselor sekolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, melalui penggunaan analisis hermeneutika dari Paul Ricouer. Data dikumpulkan dari dokumen dan wawancara kasus. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat titik-temu karakter neo-sufisme dengan empat kompetensi konselor. Karakter makrifatullah bertemu dengan kompetensi pedagogik, dan kompetensi kepribadian. Sementara itu, karakter sangat mementingkan orang lain (itsar) dan karakter kesatria (futuwwah) bertemu dengan kompetensi sosial, karakter kreatif-produktif (intajiyyah) bertemu dengan kompetensi profesional. Dengan karakter neo-sufisme, kompetensi konselor akan menjadi lebih baik dan lebih bermakna.

Abstract

Generation Z is a generation that, since childhood, has been familiar with technology. In reality, many millennial children are now found drifting in the vortex of social media, where they experience phubbing, an addiction to smartphones where they are willing to hurt their friends around them, which is a challenge for the world of education. Educational institutions need to be ready to carry out their duties to build a character who is faithful and pious, good character, knowledgeable, healthy, and so on. Guidance and Counseling teachers (counselors) need to realize that solving individual problems is complicated because each violation will harden the heart. Hence, this study aims to map the characteristics of generation Z students with their needs for guidance and counseling. The characteristics of Generation Z are a continuation of the millennial generation, where they are already small familiar with digital media. They need to undergo education and guidance appropriate to their time. Can the characteristics of Generation Z be served and their needs met with services in guidance and counseling? This question was answered by conducting qualitative research in a document study, and data analysis was carried out using Recouer's interpretation technique. The analysis results show that Generation Z's characteristics are relevant to services in the fields of Guidance and Counseling. It is just that the four areas that have been implemented so far, namely the personal, social, study, and career fields, need to be added by prioritizing the spiritual field and the field of family guidance

Abstract

Development of Student Worksheets on thematic learning through the application of project based learning (PjBL) for elementary school students at SD Negeri 1 Perampuan. Based on the problems that occur in the classroom in the form of low student learning outcomes, lack of active involvement of students in the learning process and the absence of student worksheets developed by the teacher. So the learning resources used are only theme books published by the ministry. These teaching materials have not been modified according to student needs, so student learning outcomes are low and they are less motivated to participate in the learning process. The method used in this research is Borg and Gall type R&D by applying 8 research steps due to limited research time. Based on the results of the research conducted, thematic student worksheets through the application of project based learning are valid and suitable for testing. This is based on the validation results of content, design and language experts. Content validation obtained a score of 80% in the appropriate category, design validation obtained a score of 87.7% in the very valid category and language validation obtained a score of 77.5% in the valid category. Meanwhile, learning tools in the form of a syllabus and learning implementation plan obtained validation scores of 90.4 (syllabus) and 90.8 (RPP). Based on small-scale trials, an average score of 90.4% was obtained in the valid category. The results of the normality test analysis obtained scores on the experimental pretest 0.200 > 0.05 (valid), experimental posttest 0.094 > 0.05 (valid), control pretest 0.200 > 0.05 (valid), control posttest 0.192 > 0.05 (valid). The data homogeneity test results obtained were 0.247 > 0.05 (homogeneous). The results of the independent sample t test obtained a sig (2-tailed) score of 0.000 < 0.05 (there is an influence) and the ngain score for the experimental class was obtained at 72.1214 (quite effective) and the ngain score for the control class was 7.1882 (less effective). From the research data, it can be concluded that the use of thematic student worksheets through the application of project based learning is quite effective in improving student learning outcomes.
