The title of this study is "The Role of Reading House Managers in Increasing Reading Interest in Elementary School Students in Pontianak City". The purpose of this study was to determine the role of Reading House managers in organizing activities to increase reading interest in elementary school students at Rumah Baca, efforts made by the Reading House manager to increase reading interest in elementary school students at Rumah Baca and the obstacles faced by Rumah Baca managers in increasing interest read elementary students at Pontianak Reading House. The approach used is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used were interview techniques and documentation, with data collection tools in the form of interview guides and documentation. Based on the results of interviews and documentation that researchers have carried out proves that the manager's role influences students' reading interest in the Reading House. There are supporting factors, namely the existence of educational institutions as a place of fostering and inhibiting factors, namely the scarcity of the existence of interesting books. The effort taken is to find the cause of the low interest in reading.

AbstractThis research is entitled "The Function and Meaning of Mantras in the Balenggang Tradition of the Dayak Bakati' Rara Community in Sebunga Village Sajingan Besar District Sambas Regency". The general problem in the research "How is the Function and Meaning of Mantras in the Balenggang Tradition of the Dayak Bakati' Rara Community in Sebunga Village, Sajingan Besar District, Sambas Regency". This study aims to determine the types, functions and meanings of mantras in the Balenggang tradition of the Dayak Bakati' Rara community in Sebunga Village, Sajingan Besar District, Sambas Regency. The form of research used in this research is qualitative research with descriptive research methods. The data collection techniques used are interviews and documentation, while the data collection tools used are interview and documentation guides, the analytical techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that traditional medicine through the Balenggang tradition is still carried out by the people of Sebunga Village in healing diseases, In this study, there are ten types of spells uttered by the Balenggang shaman, the spell is still recognized and trusted by the community as a form of cultural heritage handed down by ancestors.Data analysis shows that the Balenggang mantra array contains a function as a projection system or a shaman's wishful thinking, a function as a cultural certifier, while the meanings contained in the mantra are religious meaning and social meaning.Keywords: Balenggang Mantra, Function, and Meaning

AbstractThis research is entitled "The Role of the Forbest Community of Transvestites in Actualizing Existence in Teluk Keramat District, Sambas Regency. The aim of the study was to describe the role of the Forbest community administrator as a coach, the role of the board in directing and the role of the board as a role model. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection is done by observation, interviews and documentation. The data sources used are primary sources and secondary data sources. Data management and analysis techniques go through three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the role of administrators as coaches in actualizing their existence is by fostering skills independence, providing training that contains additional knowledge members can live independently and be creative in thinking. (2) the role of the board in directing members of the transgender Forbset community by providing guidance and giving guidance through debriefing skills and providing motivation in helping members develop their potential. (3) The role of the board as an example is to provide a good example to build character by planting moral values and values through life skills.Keywords: Role of Management, Forbest Community Transvestites, Actualization

AbstractThe title of this research is “analysis of associative social relations between female traders in the Lintang Market Mandor Village Mandor Subdistrict Landak Regency”. The problem in this research is to determine the form of cooperative associative social relations and accommodation embodied in mutual help, mutual cooperation, and mutual agreement between women traders at Lintang Market, Mandor Village, Mandor Subdistrict, Landak Regency. This research includes in qualitative descriptive research. Data collection done by observation, interview and documentation techniques. Sources of data that used are primary data sources and secondary data sources where the main data in qualitative research are words and the rest of the actions are additional data such as documentation and others. Processing techniques and data analysis through three stages, namely (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation and (3) conclusion. The result of this study is the social relationship that exists between female traders in the Lintang Market, Mandor Village, are included in social relations associative due to cooperation and accommodation, the cooperation can evidenced by mutual assistance and mutual cooperation.keywords: social relations, relationship form, female traders

Abstract This research aimed to know how the support of family especially parents have child sufferers of tuberculosis in Desa Harapan, Kecamatan Pemangkat. The research method used was qualitative research with descriptive methods. Sources of research data is parents have child sufferers of tuberculosis. The data taken relates with thetotal sufferers of tuberculosis in Desa Harapan. The research results showed that the supports of family especially parents during the healing process of the disease is a form of biological, educationat, socialization, and protective support. The family supports of biological such as fulfillmen necessity of nutritional and take carethe child when they sick. The family supports of educational such as teaches cleanliness in the family.The family supports of socialization such as show and explain of medicine. AbstractThe title of this thesis is "The Analysis of Abberant Behavior to the Students Who Addicted to Playing Online Games in SMPN 01 Sebawi Sambas Regency". The general problem in this study is how the abberant behavior to the students who addicted to playing online games at SMPN 01 Sebawi, Sambas Regency?. The purpose of this study was to determine the forms of abberant behavior in students who are addicted to playing online games and deviant behavior factors of students who are addicted to playing online games. The writer used is qualitative approach and descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. This study analysis is writer in descriptive which use 7 informants who consisting of social studies teachers of class VII C and VIII A, parents of one of the informants who stole, a cafe keeper, and three students who have abberant behavior due to addiction to playing games online. The results of this study show that students who addicted to playing online games do the abberant action a nonconform abberant behavior namely insulting, fighting, skipping school and lying. Beside there is informants do the abberant behavior that is antisocial namely introverted behavior (closed). In addition, one of the student informants who addicted to playing online games also stole his father's savings to buy diamond games online. As the result the factors that influence the students who addicted to playing online games such are the factor lack of control from parents and the second is a peer factor.Keywords: Abberant Behavior, Addicted to Playing Online Games, Students.

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the social mechanical sosilidarity of the Madurese and Malay ethnicities in Siantan Tengah Village, North Pontianak District. The general problem in this research is "How is the analysis of mechanical social solidarity on ethnic Madurese and Malays in Siantan Tengah Village, North Pontianak District". The research method used is descriptive in a qualitative form. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, documentation. The data collection tools used were observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation guidelines. The data analysis in this study was presented in a qualitative descriptive manner using 4 informants of Madurese and Malay ethnicities in Siantan Tengah Village, North Pontianak District. The results of this study indicate that Madurese and Malay ethnicities can mingle with each other and have a high level of solidarity, and can foster a sense of care for fellow humans and the environment, a sense of empathy, a sense of being helped, a sense of sincerity in helping, a sense of brotherhood, a sense of peace, a sense of Tolerance, respect, familiarity, and affection for fellow communities or relatives can be seen from the division of labor, strong collective awareness, and low individuality in Siantan Tengah Village, North Pontianak District.Keywords: Ethnic Malay, Madurese Ethnicity, Mechanical Solidarity

AbstractThe title of this research is analysis of social relations in “forest honey bee farmers in viilage Batu Rawan subdistrict Selimbau” A common problem in this study is how social relations of forest honey bee farmers in subdistrict Batu Rawan Selimbau district. With sub problem first How social relation of honeybee farmer forest in viilage Batu Rawan sub-district Selimbau in cooperation, second how social relations in honeybee Farmer forest in Batu Rawan district Selimbau in the form of accommodation. This research aims to know the social relations form of cooperation and accommodation on honeybee farmers in Batu Rawan Selimbau district. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis. Data collection tools are using observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation tools. The results of this research are first Social relations form of cooperation on forest honeybee farmer, seen at the father of Sarip and Hermansyah in implementing social relations form of cooperation that is to cooperate in contract and work Equally traditional. Second social relations in the form of accommodation on the forest honeybee farmer, seen in the Father Jakaria, Abang Diham, and Sukardi in implementing social relations form the accommodation is being compromises, arbitrage and tolerance.
