Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the impact of using Facebook on behavior change among mothers in Meliau Hulu Village, Meliau District, Sanggau District. The general problem in this study is how the negative and positive impact of using Facebook on behavior change among mothers in Meliau Hulu Village, Meliau District, Sanggau District. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative research form. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation. While the data collection tools used were observation guides, interview guides and documentation. The analysis in this study is presented in a descriptive qualitative manner using 4 informants who are active mothers of Facebook users in Meliau Hulu Village, Meliau District, Sanggau Regency. The results of this study indicate that Facebook has a negative impact on behavior change among mothers such as making Facebook a place of self-existence and show-off, lack of socialization with family and the surrounding environment, spreading self-portraits and personal problems as if making Facebook a place to vent. The positive impact on changes in the behavior of mothers, such as strengthening friendship, making Facebook a means of promoting merchandise, and using Facebook as an information medium as a substitute for newspapers or television. And changes in behavior that occur as a result of using Facebook are due to the emergence of boredom and also the desire to change or want to be better known.Keywords: Facebook, Behavior Change, Mothers.

Abstract

AbstrackThis study aims to determine the Role of the Taklim Council Management Nurul Yaqinin Developing Youth Religious Characters in Central Singkawang. The researchmethod used is descriptive with a qualitative research form. The data source of thisresearch is the Management and Youth of Majelis Taklim Nurul Yaqin. Data collectiontechniques in this study were through observation, interviews, and documentation,while the data collection tools used were observation guides, interview guides, andnotebooks and archives. The analysis in this study was presented in a descriptivequalitative manner using 8 informants consisting of the Chairperson of the TaklimCouncil Nurul Yaqin, Cadre Staff, and 6 Adolescent Members. The results of this studyindicate that the Role of the Council Management in developing the religiouscharacterof adolescents through exemplary, habituation, advice, and supervision.Although not all members participated in the activities provided by the board, otheryouth members participated in activities such as congregational prayer, recitation,mutual cooperation, and other social activities.Keywords: Youth, Religious Character, Role of Management, Majelis Taklim.

Abstract

AbstractThe title of this research is "The Role of Community Figures in the Preservation of the Belulus Bathing Tradition in Tebas District, Sambas Regency". The general problem of this research is How the Role of Community Figures in the Preservation of Bathing Belulus Tradition in Tebas District, Sambas Regency ?. The sub-problem of this research is How do community leaders participate as motivators, guides, role models, and the procession of the Mandi Belulus tradition in preserving the Mandi Belulus tradition in Tebas District, Sambas Regency? This research method is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research informants were Ibu Kiah and Ibu Timah as the elders implementing the Mandi Belulus tradition. The results showed that the two informants as the elder implementing the Mandi Belulus tradition had carried out their role as motivators, where the two informants motivated the community by always telling and inviting the community to preserve the Mandi Belulus tradition, as guides, the two informants provided guidance by inviting the public to find out the ingredients. and the process of implementing Mandi Belulus, as examples of the two informants giving examples of the process of implementing the Mandi Belulus tradition in a directed manner, and the procession of the Mandi Belulus tradition from preparing the ingredients to the process being carried out in a way that has been passed down from generation to generation.Keywords: Role of Community Figures, Tradition Preservation, Mandi Belulus

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to find out the students' learning activeness in the use of LKS media in the learning process. Besides, to increase the motivation of teachers' and to know the students' learning outcomes by using LKS learning media in the process of learning sociology subjects in grade XII IIS. This research uses qualitative research method with descriptive method. Data sources in this study are divided into 2 data sources, namely primary data sources and secondary data sources, primary data sources are teachers and students, secondary data sources are data taken from literature and documents in schools. For the data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews. The results of this study show that in this pandemic, the use of LKS media to be applied to the teaching and learning process online. Because LKS is considered quite effective because the content of the LKS itself is a summary of the material that has included all the brief and clear understandings. With the use of LKS media, participants are more active and can be motivated to learn independently. And do not forget the role of teachers and parents to participate in helping to build the motivation of learners to be able to maintain the spirit of learning even though learning online. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this researched to find out the form of social control by counselors to residents who are in Institusi Penerima Wajib Lapor Teratai Khatulistiwa Kubu Raya. The method used in this researched qualitative approached with descriptive methods. The data sources in this study were counselors and residents in the institution. The results showed that: (1) Preventive social control carried out by counselors to residents at IPWL Teratai Khatulistiwa is good because counselors always educate and remind about applicable regulations and provided rewards to residents who behaved well or do not violate the rules. (2) Coercived social control carried out by counselors to residents at IPWL Teratai Khatulistiwa is good because the counselors give punishment or sanctions to residents who violate the form of sanctions to clean shared facilities and written outcomes. Meanwhile, the form of control with a warning is in the form of reminding to give a shock therapy. (3) The repressive social control carried out by the counselor to the resident at IPWL Teratai Khatulistiwa good because the counselor has provided advice and psychological sanctions such as reminding and giving chair punishment.Keywords: Rehabilitation , Social Control.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to give explaination the Role of Teachers as Motivators in Improving Student Creativity in Sociology Subjects in class XI IIS Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak High School. This research aims to determine the teacher’s role as a motivator in improving student creativity and forms of creativity developed by teachers on sociology subjects. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The Data  collection techniques were observation, interviews and documentation while the data collection tools were observations guides, document and cameras. The informants in this study were sociology teachers and class XI students at IIS Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak Senior High Shool. The result showed that, (1) The role of the teachers as a motivator in enhancing student creativity in sociology teachers and class XI IIS Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak Senior High was well done by the teachers in the classroom, this was evidenced when starting learning the teachers opened by telling stories according to the materials learn, respond well when student argue and explain again if not understood, to arouse students learning enthusiasm teachers intersperse learning with games, encourage students to continue learning, try to achieve high achievements and boast parents, stressing learning is important for the future with provide motivation that encourages students to actively learn. (2) The forms of student creativity that are enhanced by the teahers as a motivator in the subjects of sociology learning are in terms of being active in discussions, asking questions, and expressing opinions during the teaching and learning process. Keywords: Teachers’s Role, Students’s Creativity

Abstract

AbstractThe problem of this research is how the socialization of Islamic values by the Kuba assembly to community members in Mawan Village, Selimbau District, Kapuas Hulu Regency. The sub-issue is how the pattern of socialization of Islamic values by the Kuba Assembly to members of the community and what values are promoted by the Kuba Assembly. The form of this research was descriptive-qualitative. Data collection techniques are documentation, interview and observation. The results of the research showed that socialization is done by way Jaulah and Khuruj. The socialization in Jaulah were done by way Takrir and coming to the house of the community. Socialization in Khuruj were done by way of Bayan, Ta'lim, Mudzakarah and Jaulah. The Islamic values socialized by the Kuba Assembly are eating and dressing, such as eating in congregation, eating on a sufrah, using a cap when eating, sitting tawadhu, tasting salt before eating, eating using three fingers. Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine the effect of peer relationships on students' learning motivation in sociology subjects in XI IIS class at SMA Negeri 1 Batang Lupar. The research method used in this research is quantitative research. The data sources of this research are 49 students of XI IIS class and the data is in the form of student questionnaire answer sheets. The results showed that peer association with the same percentage of age (47.66%), intimacy (41%), the group size (41%), and the cognitive development (40%) was included in the quite effective category. The students' learning motivation with the percentage of being diligent in facing assignments (41%), the tenacious in facing difficulties (43%), the interest in learning problems (42%), happy to work independently (41.5%), not bored in tasks activity (41.8 %), can defend opinions (46.5%) and enjoy solving problems (49%) are included in the category of quite effective. The influence of peer association on students' learning motivation in sociology subjects in XI IIS class at SMA Negeri 1 Batang Lupar obtained tcount 20.778 when compared with a table at a significant level of 5% of 2.011, then tcount> ttable (20.778 > 2.011) then, Ha is accepted. The magnitude of the influence of peer association on student motivation in SMA Negeri 1 Batang Lupar with a correlation coefficient value of 0.902. By the percentage of the contribution of peer association influence on learning motivation of 90.2%, while the remaining 9.8% is influenced by other variables that not examined in this research. Keywords: Learning Motivation, Peer Association, Sociology lesson

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine the use of teacher teaching methods on sociology subjects in class X IPS A Ngabang 1 Public High School. The research method used is descriptive. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews and documentation studies. In this research, the data source was sociology teacher in class X IPS A Ngabang 1 Public High School. The results show that the use of the lecture method by the teacher has been used each time teaching in class X IPS A. In presenting the subject matter to students using the lecture method, the teaching facilities used by the teacher are LKS and the selection of the use of lecture methods is based on student factors, subject matter and teaching facilities. The use of the question and answer method by the teacher has been used each time carrying out learning in class X IPS A. As long as the learning activities take place using the question and answer method, only a few students actively ask and answer their questions. In addition, the selection of the question and answer method is based on the characteristics of the learning material. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to know the factor behind the youth marriage in the rasau jaya village of the two core dedistrict rasau jaya district. The study USES a qualitative approach with a descriptive qualitative method. The data-collection technique used is observation, documenting interviews with data collection tools of observation guide, interview guide, and documentation. The results of this study prove that (1) knowledge was a factor in young age of marriage in the rasau jaya village of the two critical growth districts because of lack of knowledge and lack of experience. (2) the cultural factor behind a young age of marriage in the rasau jaya village of two adult subdistrict rasau jaya because of the lack of marketers and therefore motivates both youth and parents to get their children married as quickly as possible. (3) peers factor in youth marriage in the rasau jaya village of the two core district rasau jaya because of the negative influence of peers can be bad enough to trigger a youth marriage.Keywords: Driving Factor, Marriage At A Young Age
