Abstract

Abstract This paper presents an output feedback controller to damp the electromechanical oscillations in multimachine power systems. The control design is based on a modified optimal controller which it does not need the specification of weighting matrices. The eigenvalues of electromechanical modes would be shifted to a pre-specified vertical strip. Effectiveness of this controller is evaluated and example, a multimachine power system, is given to illustrate the advantages and effectiveness of the proposed method. Abstract

Abstract This paper addresses the design problem of robust H2 output feedback controller for damping power system oscillations. Sufficient conditions for the existence of output feedback controllers with norm-bounded parameter uncertainties are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Furthermore, a convex optimization problem with LMI constraints is formulated to design the output feedback controller which minimizes an upper bound on the worst-case H2 norm for a range of admissible plant perturbations. The technique is illustrated with applications to the design of stabilizer for a single-machine infinite-bus (SMIB) power system. The LMI based control ensures adequate damping for widely varying system operating. Keywords H2 controller, linear matrix inequality, power system stabilizer, single-machine infinite-bus systems

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to study learning guidance service at Taman Ilmu, Desa Mekar Jaya. The research used problem in this research was how is learning guidance performed and the hampered. This research used qualitative research with descriptive method. The technique to collect the data on this research were observation, interview and documentations. The procedure of data analysis was data reduction, data presentation and verification. To validity the data used the lest to include the triangulation technique in the similar data but difference technique. The result of this research was that learning guidance service, the supervisor did identify the problem of learning students’ faced from attitude and habitual. To solve the problem, the supervisor in problem of learning gave instruction to explained the purpose of the delightful learning situation between teacher with the student and the student with the student. There are some hampered supervisors’ faced, limited to explain about learning guidance, limited the facility for example, the reading book, and difficult to combined between learning method with the learning guidance method.  Keywords :  Analysis, Learning Guidance Service, Taman Baca Masyarakat
