Abstract

Zakat holds a very strategic position regarding religious, social, economic, and social welfare aspects. In terms of community welfare, three pillars must be optimized, one of which is the empowerment of zakat potential. To optimize zakat management, the government must perform a practical regulatory and supervisory function, which BAZNAS does at all levels. The potential of ZIS funds contributes to the expansion of MSMEs as a driver of economic growth. MSMEs require not only capital but also business advice. In Indonesia, zakat management institutions have funds that can be used for business capital or productive Zakat. However, numerous cases in Indonesia involve the mismanagement of productive zakat funds, one of which is the philanthropic organization Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT), which has recently come under scrutiny for cases of misappropriation of people's funds. The purpose of this research is to determine how the monitoring system for the UMKM empowerment program at the Infaq Management Institute (LMI) in Bangkalan Regency complies with Law No. 23 of 2011 on Zakat Management. As a result, it is necessary to investigate how the monitoring system for the MSME empowerment program is implemented at the LMI Bangkalan Branch. This study used a qualitative data collection approach, employing interviews, observation, and documentation studies. According to the findings of this study, the supervision of LMI Bangkalan takes the form of an annual report on the performance of LAZNAS LMI activities in the form of a Financial Audit. Supervision is carried out internally at the Bangkalan Branch LMI by holding weekly and monthly evaluation meetings in each field and external supervision from the East Java Central LMI and the Central BAZNAS.

Abstract

Tourism in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) has also been affected by Covid-19 which recently hit Indonesia, marked by a decrease in the number of tourists at various tourist locations. One of the tourist sites in the Special Region of Yogyakarta that also felt the same impact was WEIPA (Al Mumtaz Preneurship Inspiration Educational Tour) located at Al Mumtaz Islamic Boarding School, Gunungkidul. For this reason, this study aims to determine the characteristics of tourists visiting WEIPA and find out what factors are considered by tourists in their decision to visit WEIPA. This study uses a questionnaire with a total sample of 97 respondents. Data collection was done by combining qualitative and quantitative approaches. The type of data used is primary and secondary data with random sampling data collection techniques. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the majority of WEIPA visitors are women (71.13%) with a vulnerable age of 21-30 years (38.14%). Respondents who were interviewed had visited 1 to 3 times (45.36%). The independent variables that are considered by tourists were an attractive exterior, friendly service, various tourist attractions, easy-to-reach locations, various culinary delights, and a large parking area. Furthermore, these six variables were tested using the SPSS application to find out what factors were considered by tourists in their decision to visit WEIPA. Of the six variables, only attractive exterior variables and various tourist attraction variables are considered by tourists in their decision to visit WEIPA. Keywords: tourism, education, attraction  INTISARIPariwisata di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) ikut terdampak Covid-19 yang beberapa waktu lalu sempat melanda Indonesia, ditandai dengan penurunan jumlah wisatawan di berbagai lokasi wisata. Salah satu lokasi wisata di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta yang ikut merasakan dampak serupa adalah WEIPA (Wisata Edukasi Inspirasi Preneurship Al Mumtaz) yang berlokasi di Pondok Pesantren Al Mumtaz Gunungkidul. Untuk itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik wisatawan yang berkunjung ke WEIPA dan mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang menjadi pertimbangan wisatawan dalam keputusannya berkunjung ke WEIPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat bantu kuisioner dengan jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 97 responden. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan pendekatan menggabungkan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Jenis data yang digunakan merupakan data primer dan sekunder dengan teknik pengumpulan data random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui jika mayoritas pengunjung WEIPA adalah perempuan (71,13%) dengan rentan usia 21-30 tahun (38,14%). Rata-rata responden yang diwawancarai telah melakukan kunjungan sebanyak 1 hingga 3 kali (45.36%). Variabel independen yang menjadi pertimbangan wisatawan dirumuskan dari penelitian pendahuluan dengan menanyakan kepada wisatawan menggunakan pertanyaan terbuka. Setelah itu dirumuskan 6 variabel yang menjadi pertimbangan wisatawan WEIPA antara lain eksterior yang menarik, pelayanan yang ramah, objek wisata beragam, lokasi mudah dijangkau, kuliner beragam, serta tempat parkir luas. Selanjutnya enam variabel ini diuji menggunakan aplikasi SPSS untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang menjadi pertimbangan wisatawan dalam keputusannya mengunjungi WEIPA. Dari keenam variabel, hanya variabel eksterior menarik dan variabel objek wisata beragam yang menjadi pertimbangan wisatawan dalam keputusannya mengunjungi WEIPA. Kata kunci: wisata, edukasi, daya tarik
