Abstract

Scheduling is a planning activity to determine when and where each surgery as part of the work in total must be carried out on limited energy sources, and the allocation of energy resources at a certain time by taking into account the available resource capacity. In this research, utilizing the development of information technology, the most important is the application system for data processing or data collection that functions to produce the required information. Every company that wants to develop its business and achieve success, of course, the company must follow the information age by using computer applications that make it easy to process company data.  In this study, the author wants to provide a solution by designing an application for processing work service scheduling flow data based on the manual scheduling system that already exists at the Dwipa Photowork Company which is still less effective and efficient, and creates a database system used in a well-computerized scheduling application. between the database system, the user interface, and the user itself

Abstract

There have been many studies on the methods used to control DC motors, one of which is the proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control method. The tuning procedure is carried out by trial and error whose results are not necessarily correct, to overcome this problem an alternative is needed that can achieve a better and faster value for the tuning process. Our contribution is explained the conventional PID (Ziegler - Nichols) and modificated PID (Chien - Hrones - Reswick). We also analyze the response of the speed-controlled DC motor using the Proportional, Integral, and Derivative parameters obtained from the tuning method described above. We also discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each formula of these methods. Implementing both methods using a Matlab, creating a more convenient and user-friendly environment for engineering students and practicing engineers to better understand the formulas of his PID controller tuning method.

Abstract

Pengukuran suatu jarak dapat dilakukan tanpa menyentuh bidang yang di ukur, seperti penggunaan ultrasonik untuk mengukur jarak dengan sistem kerja pemancaran gelombang suara dan menerima kembali gelombang suara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan alat penghitung berat dan volume paket berbasis Arduino Mega 2560. Alat ini dirancang untuk memberikan solusi otomatis yang akurat dan efisien dalam mengukur berat dan volume paket. Sensor ultrasonik memiliki dua komponen utama. transmitter sebagai pemancar gelombang suara dan receiver sebagai pencegat gelombang. Perbedaan waktu yang tercipta saat gelombang suara dikirim dan diterima dibaca oleh sensor dan diproses oleh mikrokontroler sebagai pengukur jarak. Sensor loadcell digunakan sebagai pengukur massa paket. Sensor ini didasarkan pada ketegangan dan tekanan dari pengukur regangan. Saat beban diterapkan, badan sel beban mengalami deformasi elastis, menghasilkan kompresi dan tekanan pada pengukur regangan yang terpasang. Karena proses kompresi dan tekanan, sensor regangan menghasilkan perubahan hambatan atau hambatan listrik. Modul amplifier HX711 mendukung sensor ini sebagai penguat sinyal karena keluaran dari sensor ini sangat kecil. Metode penelitian pembuatan alat penghitung berat dan volume paket berbasis arduino meliputi pembuatan diagram blok fungsional, pembuatan diagram kerja fungsional.  Data yang diperoleh dari sensor ultrasonik dan sensor load cell diolah oleh mikrokontroler Arduino. LCD16x2 menampilkan hasil pembacaan. Selain itu, printer thermal mencetak hasil pengukuran saat tombol cetak ditekan. Perangkat ini dapat mengukur berat maksimal 100 kg dan volume 1 meter persegi.

Abstract

The transmission system is the stage of electricity distribution from the generator to the substation to the distribution system. During the process of distributing electric power, there is a voltage regulation that occurs whether it is still within safe limits or not because if it exceeds safe limits it can cause damage to electrical equipment. Power losses can occur due to several factors, namely insulator leaks, distance, and others. One of the issues identified is the use of ACSR (Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced) conductors, which, although commonly used due to their mechanical strength and relatively low cost, also contribute to significant power losses due to their resistance and susceptibility to environmental effects such as temperature rise. The transmission network in this study uses ACSR type conductor wire with a Dove type and a cross-sectional area of 327,77 mm² over a distance of 251 km, with a resistance value of 0.1024 Ω/km. The manual calculation method was employed by recording current and voltage values that change every day for one month. The conclusion obtained from manual calculations of power losses and voltage regulation is that the percentage of voltage regulation on transmission lines for one month remains within the safe limit, where the maximum allowed is 10 percent. However, despite the voltage being regulated within limits, significant power losses were recorded, with the highest loss being 16,79 MW and the lowest 6,01 MW. The total power losses on the transmission network for one month reached 272,92 MW, with an average of 9,09 MW per day. These findings highlight the drawback of using ACSR conductors in long-distance transmission lines, emphasizing the need for consideration of alternative conductor types or loss-reduction strategies to improve overall transmission efficiency.
