Abstract

Public relations is a group of people who pay attention to the same things, have the same goals, and the same interests. Public is a collection consisting of a small number and can also be a large number. Public relations is always related to communication. Communication is an important aspect of life. This study aims to educate that the problem of femenism is a big and complicated problem. Public relations and journalists must take part in this movement where public relations as spokespersons and journalists who are a forum for liaison between public relations and the community both through mass media, online media, and most interestingly through social media. This research was conducted through observation to find out the direct situation of how the people of Medan responded to public relations efforts in handling feminism actions and cases in the city of Medan. The process of data collection and information collection is carried out in the form of primary and secondary data collection. Primary data were obtained from field observations in the form of direct visits to the research location by conducting direct interviews with resource persons, namely Mr. Heriyono and Mrs. Nuri and several UINSU students. Secondary data is obtained from: articles, literature, theses, scientific journals, and scientific reports related to public relations and feminist action through online media. The data obtained from the results of this study were collected, then processed and analyzed using descriptive qualitative research methods

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengangkat penggunaan media online dan media sosial dalam kampanye politik merupakan kemajuan dalam kajian komunikasi politik. Kemajuan teknologi sangat bermanfaat dalam memodernkan pelaksanaan Pemilu dan pilkada serentak di Indonesia. Kampanye politik dan jadwal pencoblosan pun bisa menyebar kepada pemilih secara cepat dalam hitungan detik. Jaringan informasi memberikan dampak dan pengaruh yang luas serta mendalam. Tidak ada peristiwa politik dan persoalan yang tidal luput dari pemberitaan. Semua menjadi global, begitu salin disiarkan lewat media elektronik. Kampanye pemilu 2024 melalui media online dinilai efektif karena hampir seluruh lapisan masyarakat akrab dengan media online. Disertai fitur untuk menyimpan dan membagikan informasi terkait para kandidat. Juga, terdapat kolom komentar untuk berinteraksi sesama masyarakat atau para kandidat. Dengan 5 prinsip dasar jurnalisme online di era digital.

Abstract

Praktisi humas menggunakan media sebagai alat komunikasi untuk menyampaikan pesan kepada publik dan dapat membantu memperbaiki citra organisasi. Teknologi komunikasi, terutama internet, telah memainkan peran besar dalam memfasilitasi penyebaran informasi dan memberikan akses yang mudah kepada masyarakat. Berbagi informasi dengan orang lain, sesuai dengan ajaran Islam tentang cinta dan memberi, merupakan praktik yang sangat dianjurkan untuk membantu orang lain memahami dunia di sekitar mereka. Polres Pematangsiantar menggunakan media online, seperti Tribrata News, untuk memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat dan menjaga citra positif mereka. Dalam upaya menciptakan komunikasi yang baik antara kepolisian dan masyarakat, transparansi dan profesionalisme dalam menjalankan tugas menjadi sangat penting. Kasus-kasus penyalahgunaan kekuasaan oleh polisi yang terpublikasikan dapat menciptakan persepsi negatif terhadap institusi tersebut, sementara upaya untuk menciptakan citra positif terus dilakukan melalui media online. melalui penggunaan media online dan praktik hubungan masyarakat yang efektif, Humas Polres Pematangsiantar berperan penting dalam meningkatkan citra institusi mereka dan membangun hubungan yang baik dengan masyarakat di era teknologi dan informasi yang maju.

Abstract

This article reviews journalism and digital media in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 which are currently being discussed. Advances in Internet technology have opened wider opportunities for the media to utilize technology in the industrial revolution era 4.0 and at the same time begin to change as digital media by reconstructing editorial policies, media organizations, media management, human resources to target audiences in the media. new. Facing this period of 4.0 is not behind the world of journalists and the press who must keep abreast of developments, so as not far behind other industries. The concept of industrial revolution era journalism 4.0, which was formulated as news that reported all events or events, changed to a news concept that reported at the same time that events took place that had a high rate of speed. Journalism in the face of the 4.0 press industry revolution remains on the principles of journalistic ethics. When presenting news in a multi-directional media, it is not only unidirectional, but comprehensive. Through new media that is so fast in getting information. New media is currently very diverse in form and content. However, the task of HR which is engaged in journalism must make the news industry healthy by strengthening quality content and promoting truth. The development of digital journalism today which has been present in the midst of the wider community.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the interpersonal communication patterns of SMAN 1 Sidikalang students regarding their addiction to playing Mobile Legends games. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. This research is a field study. The data in this research comes from primary data obtained directly through direct findings in the research area such as the results of interviews and observations. This research data also comes from secondary data obtained through literature that relates to the research context such as journal articles and books. Data collection techniques in this research used semi-structured interviews and non-participant observation. Data analysis in this research was carried out by reducing, presenting, and then verifying the research data. The results of this research show that the interpersonal communication approach applied by teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Sidikalang is very focused on creating positive relationships with students. They listen attentively, show genuine interest, and avoid unnecessary interruptions. The body language they use supports a positive atmosphere, and simple language creates a comfortable environment. Teachers give praise to increase students' self-confidence and provide criticism wisely. They also demonstrate self-control and emotional maturity, helping students overcome gaming addiction problems. All of these approaches aim to create positive interpersonal relationships and provide important support in student development.

Abstract

Dengan menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, komunikasi dapat memecahkan masalah dan meningkatkan hubungan. Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi telah memungkinkan terjadinya interaksi tatap muka dan virtual. Internet dan media sosial adalah hasil dari kemajuan teknologi yang memungkinkan orang untuk mengakses informasi, pengetahuan, pendidikan, dan kesenangan. Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah menciptakan Twitter. Dalam hal ini, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tiga hal yaitu (1) Pola komunikasi public relations pada akun twitter @perfectlyfine terhadap fiksi penggemar alternative universe (AU) dalam media jurnalistik digital (2) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat yang terjalin antara author dengan readers (3) Alasan media sosial X yang merupakan media jurnalistik digital ini dipilih sebagai media saluran komunikasi dan produksi sebuah karya fiksi penggemar berupa alternative universe (AU). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif, melalui pendekatan studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan data primer denga teknik purposive sampling yang melibatkan informan kunci dan informan pendukung, yaitu pemilik akun Twitter @perfecltyfine serta pengikut yang merupakan pembaca cerita fiksi pada akun Twitter @perfecltyfine serta data sekunder melalui jurnal, buku, maupun artikel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola komunikasi public relations yang digunakan penulis menggunakan metode pola komunikasi sirkular dalam setiap proses penyampaian pesan kepada para pembacanya; Media sosial X merupakan salah satu media jurnalisme elektronik yang digunakannya. Media sosial X juga digunakan untuk mendistribusikan cerita fiksi penggemar (fan fiction) alternative universe (AU) karya penulis yang dapat dibaca oleh pembaca dari berbagai kalangan pengguna X. Faktor-faktor yang mendukung proses komunikasi antara penulis @perfecltyfine dengan pembaca cerita fiksi AU antara lain: (1) Metode penulis sangat menentukan sebuah karya tulis yang layak di mata pembaca. (2) Fiksi penggemar yang ditulis oleh penulis berfokus pada tema-tema sosial. (3) Karakter dan pilihan visual penulis membuat pembaca terkesan. (4) Reaksi pembaca terhadap cerita. Penulis memiliki beberapa tantangan, antara lain: (1) Pembaca sering merasa malu untuk berbicara dengan penulis. (2) Sikap apatis pembaca terhadap cerita fiksi penggemar alam semesta alternatif penulis.      By using information and communication technology, communication can solve problems and improve relationships. Information and Communication Technology has made face-to-face and virtual interactions possible. The internet and social media are the result of technological advances that allow people to access information, knowledge, education and fun. Information and communication technology has created Twitter. In this case, this research aims to find out three things, namely (1) The pattern of public relations communication on the @perfectlyfine twitter account for alternative universe (AU) fan fiction in digital journalistic media (2) Supporting and inhibiting factors that exist between authors and readers (3) The reason social media X which is a digital journalistic media was chosen as a media channel for communication and production of a work of fan fiction in the form of an alternative universe (AU). This research was conducted using a qualitative method, through a case study approach with data collection techniques using primary data with purposive sampling techniques involving key informants and supporting informants, namely the owner of the @perfecltyfine Twitter account and followers who are readers of fiction stories on the @perfecltyfine Twitter account and secondary data through journals, books, and articles. The results showed that the public relations communication pattern used by the author used the circular communication pattern method in every process of delivering messages to his readers; Social media X is one of the electronic journalism media he uses. X social media is also used to distribute the author's alternative universe (AU) fan fiction stories that can be read by readers from various X users. Factors that support the communication process between the writer @perfecltyfine and readers of AU fiction stories include: (1) The author's method determines the worthiness of a written work in the eyes of readers. (2) The fan fiction written by the author focuses on social themes. (3) The author's characters and visual choices impress readers. (4) The reader's reaction to the story. Writers have several challenges, including: (1) Readers are often embarrassed to talk to writers. (2) Reader apathy towards the author's alternate universe fan fiction stories.
