Abstract

teacher as the first position in reaching educational vision and mission, because of that teacher has an important role to upgrade their quality. Besides that, teacher has to enhance their competence. So has many implementer policies of national education system released to support teacher's competence enhancement. Donations, education facilities, training allocated for teachers by country be an opportunity to make innovative and creative work. Teacher be approved by the nation not only limited at legal formal, but also by providing financial right as appreciation for great earnings. By the several teacher's competencies, including holistic, integrative, religious, so that institutional education will produce qualified graduates, competitive, independence, and responsibility to solve educational problems, like moral decadention. To make easier for teacher competency improvement strategies, so school as one of the institutional education has to do better planning through the process of analysis. The totality of school or madrasah management can produce good and correct quality education.

Abstract

Now days, many who define politics as a conflict maker and the maker of split-causing differences, so that such an assumption makes politics as a taboo thing, and should be shunned. In fact, as we  know, that human beings are social creatures and cannot be separated from politics, therefore the philosophers, especially Muslim philosopher as Al-Ghozali, Ibn Khaldun, Ibn Taymiyya, Imam Al-Mawardi, as well as Hobes, Aristotle, Plato have provided definitions on politic as the dream of an ideal society formation, to repair a bad state to be a good one.Education, as one of the social institutions, cannot be separated from politics, especially when it comes to state policy, it will be known how the State's commitment to empower its community through education. Because how this country see education, especially in terms of budget policy becomes one of the nation's attention evidence on education. Indonesia, the history of its education budget has experienced ups and downs, and the last provision has been stated that the allocation of the education budget is 20% (twenty percent). However, how is the budget allocation commitment in practice? Is there a political nuances behind the education budget?

Abstract

Relation between religion and nation state is a term that often be a topic discuss in terms of political Islam, there is an opinion that the relationship between religion and the state are integrated as an entity, and the other say there is a mention that religion and the state it is only a mutualistic-symbiotic, in another context mentioned implementers. And the other side, the relationship between religion and the state is not at all related to each other that called secularist-liberalis. Religion should not intervene against the state, and vice versa. However, globalization makes politic loses its meaning as a tool in the struggle for the establishment of an ideal society. Thus, this paper is more emphasis on the relation between religion and the state in politic.

Abstract

The contribution of pesantren to the continuity of national life and statehood cannot be calculated with a numerical value. The sacrifice of the kyai as the central leader in the pesantren has also been proven in the history of the nation. During the colonial period carried out by the Dutch colonies and allies, in a period of more than 300 years, the kyai and pesantren appeared with zeal, with the motto of lovng the homeland is part of faith. The struggle of kyai did not stop after independence, so kyai and all pesantren committed to maintaining and filling independence in accordance to the purpose of the founder of the nation. So then it is time for the State to attend to the continuity of the pesantren through the policy of forming law. However, regulations through this law should not be used as a tool for the State to intervene in pesantren. Let the pesantren with their peculiarities continue to carry out all forms of service to the community. This paper is intended to see the views of kyai on Rancangan Undang-Undang (Draft of Law) on Islamic Boarding Schools and Islamic Education. This paper also analyzes using a public policy perspective on the content of draft of law for the Islamic Boarding School and Religious Education.

Abstract

Abstract: Implementation of the boarding school from time to time to experience the dynamics of considerable interest to continue to be studied and explored. All schools in Indonesia continues to perform remediation efforts according to the times and the demands of society. It's time to make a breakthrough boarding innovative and creative in responding to the advancement of science and technology. As a user of the service organization of schools, the public has a "right" to provide corrections and contribute ideas for the development of quality schools. Because good and the quality of schools is closely related to public perception. In the context of understanding the dynamics of the development of schools to meet the needs of the service quality in order to produce good quality graduates, Boarding School in conjunction with the momentum Salafiyah Shafi'ites unification of universities in boarding schools, formed an organization that serves to accelerate the implementation of the quality of schools. The new institution called the Quality Assurance Agency Boarding School (Pesantren LPM) which is responsible to the Pesantren. Duties and functions are giving consideration to the development of quality caregivers for boarding. To know and understand how the LPM performance Pesantren, we perform community service through Pesantren LPM. Purpose and tujuannnya is providing assistance for the implementation of the vision and mission of the LPM, LPM know the planning and work, measures and follow-up activities, and how LPM involved in the process of quality development organization of schools. The new institution called the Quality Assurance Agency Boarding School (Pesantren LPM) which is responsible to the Pesantren. Abstract

Islamic boarding schools today require a planning document that describes a series of historical past as a philosophical basis for making changes in the future. The Sukorejo Pesantren strategic plan document that is being prepared through the team uses descriptive qualitative writing methods. Digging data sources with historical and phenomenological approaches. The purpose of the strategic plan is the realization of the strategic plan that will be used as a reference for organizers and managers of pesantren, both those who are undergoing leadership and future generations. The content is not only about history, but digs up-to-date information as a material for the characteristics and identity of pesantren which is maintained at all times. For this reason, the theoretical basis for preparing this strategic plan as an academic activity is the theory of change, progress, and change.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools inevitably provide services for the implementation and management processes. It requires adjustments to increasing needs. Each Islamic boarding school has different characteristics, because It is founded by different figures. There are different ways to financial management in Islamic boarding schools. The role of Kiai as a central figure is very decisive in financial management. Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Sukorejo is one of the Islamic boarding schools that have own financial management system. Three units are technically managing finances in Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Sukorejo. They are Treasurer, the Supreme Audit and Wealth Agency of Ma'had (BPK2M), and the Budget Team. To ensure the service system in financial management, it is necessary to develop financial management guidelines. The mentoring steps taken included sharing ideas, absorbing information, discussing and conducting joint studies with stakeholders in the Islamic boarding schools. As a result, the draft financial management guidelines were included in the master plan for Islamic boarding schools. The need for guidance on financial management of Islamic boarding schools is in line with the theory of planning, innovation, and several financial regulations established by the State. In management, planning is needed because the spirit is innovation and meeting the demands of change to meet the needs of the organizers and the Islamic boarding schools community itself.

Abstract

Every learning process, will never be separated from a method, as well as in learning the kitab kuning, because the method is one of the determinants of achieving maximum learning outcomes. So it is necessary to conduct an in-depth study related to the kitab kuning learning method and the stages in the kitab kuning learning. This study is set in the class of the Daru al-Kutub Education Foundation of the Bebidas Wanasaba Islamic Boarding School in East Lombok. By using a case study type qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study are: first, the stages of learning the yellow book in the class include: dividing the students (santri) into several classes according to their level of ability, determining the books to be taught to students according to their level, and making rules. Second, the kitab kuning learning method in class is to use several methods commonly used in the kitab kuning learning process, such as the sorogan, bandongan, memorization, and mudzakarah methods, as well as holding weekly evaluations and monthly evaluations.
