Abstract

The 2019 coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic in Indonesia has decreased. Some schools have started holding face-to-face meetings with students. Some schools are still doing distance learning (online). Many problems are found in online learning, such as the lack of attention of students and lack of understanding of students understanding the material presented by the teacher. Therefore, it is necessary to use learning methods that can attract the interest and attention of students in distance learning (online). One of the learning methods is the Montessori method. The use of the Montessori method is considered to be able to provide a different atmosphere for students in the learning process. In fact, there are still teachers in schools who are not familiar with the Montessori method The use of the Montessori method is considered to be able to provide a different atmosphere for students in the learning process. Abstract

Kasus pandemi Covid-19 membuat krisis kesehatan dan berdampak pada pemasalahanpermasalahanmental dan ekonomi. Jumlah yang semakin banyak terkonfirmasi, semakinhari semakin bertambah, sehingga Palangka Raya melalui Surat Keputusan MenteriKesehatan Republik Indonesia Nomor HK. 01.07/MENKES/294/2020 tentang PenetapanPembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar di Wilayah Kota Palangka Raya Provinsi KalimantanTengah dalam Rangka Percepatan Penanganan Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19).Beberapa aktivitas diluar mengalami pembatasan, sehigga semakin membuat sebagianmasyarakat resah dengan kondisi ekonominya. Perlu adanya kegiatan-kegiatan yangdapat memberikan tawaran solusi lainnya yang dapat meningkatkan keahlian yang dandilakukan oleh masyarakat secara terus-menerus selama pandemi ini berlangsung bahkansetelah pandemi ini selesai. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untukmemberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada orangtua tentang perilaku hidupbersih dan sehat, cara membuat aquaphonik, serta cara menurunkan kecemasan denganteknik deep breathing (bernafas dalam-dalam). Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan PKMmeliputi beberapa tahap yaitu observasi, pelaksanaan, pendampingan, dan evaluasiprogram. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman sasaranmeningkat, dapat dilihat dari peningkatan hasil postes yang diberikan setelah kegiatanberlangsung, meningkatnya kemandirian dalam ketahanan pangan keluarga, dankecemasan yang berkurang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena permasalahan yang ada di sekolah. Masih ada siswa yang belum mampu mengikuti aturan yang ada di kelas dan menunjukkan perilaku yang tidak sesuai dengan yang dikehendaki (off task behavior) seperti berjalan di dalam kelas saat ada guru, berbicara dengan temannya, melamun, tidur dan lain sebagainya selama pelajaran berlangsung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menurunkan off task behavior dengan menggunakan metode sosiodrama. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan one-group pre-test-post-test design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 5 siswa di SMP RA Jakarta yang memiliki skor tertinggi pada hasil pre-test. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala off task behavior yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti berdasarkan indikator dari off task behavior dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan statistik uji t-test. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode sosiodrama yang digunakan efektif untuk mereduksi off task behavior.

Abstract

Inclusive schools provide opportunities for Children with Special Needs/ Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) to study in public schools, and Shadow Teacher/ Guru Pembimbing Khusus (GPK) are an important part of implementing this inclusive school program. This research was conducted to analyze the role and implementation of GPK in Palangka Raya. The results of this study able to applied in inclusive school system and optimize GPK in carrying out their duties in class. The research methodology used is qualitative research and data analysis uses thematic analysis with an inductive approach. The results of this study are, first the role of GPK includes the learning process and encourages social acceptance in the classroom. Second, the pattern of interaction between GPK, schools, and parents influences the optimization of ABK learning at school. Third, GPK has emotional attachment and empathy towards ABK and parents. The conclusion of this study is that there is no standardized procedure for GPK to carry out their duties, but in general GPK is able to do their tasks with the support of their resources. In addition, the pattern of interaction between GPK, parents and schools basically influence the implementation of inclusive education in schools.
