Abstract

The intake building for Embung Sei Bubu had been designed to be an open channel with the flood gate. The flood gate had been designed from steel with a net width of 1.35 m and the height of the door opening is 0.0076 m. The corrosion is one of the hazardous threat to the strengthness and durability of the flood gate. This research numerically models flood gate that was attacked by pitting corrosion. The pitting corrosion had been modelled in several small holes randomly were distributed on the surface of the flood gate, precisely on the surface of the water. The numerical modeling had been performed in finite element method utilized computer programs such Abaqus. The results showed there was a reduction in the capacity of the steel flood gate due the hole increasing. The reduction in stress capacity had been indicated by the stress concentration that was occured around the pitting corrosion. The stress reduction occured with the change in the percentage of pitting corrosion distribution area of ​​10% (225 MPa), 20% (175 MPa) and 30% (120 MPa)

Abstract

The Batulicin ferry port in Tanah Bumbu and the Tanjung Serdang crossing in Kotabaru, Pulau Laut district, has a very important role for transportation in facilitating the flow of goods and people as a series of the South Kalimantan Axis Cross Road that connects the city of Banjarmasin and all cities in South Kalimantan province and the city. -cities on the island of Kalimantan to Kotabaru, Tanah Laut district. With the economic development around coal mining, plantations and tourism in South Kalimantan, it is estimated that the need for transportation services from year to year always increases. To anticipate these conditions, the land transportation system and crossing required optimal performance standards. This research was conducted at the Batulicin - Tanjung Serdang crossing by taking case studies at the Batulicin and Tanjung Serdang ferry ports. The purpose of this study is to find a solution to the problem of optimizing the Batulicin port operating system whether additional ships are needed due to the long queue of passenger cars and goods that will cross from Batulicin to Kotabaru or vice versa. The data collected includes the performance of the crossing system, data retrieval is carried out on December 20 to December 24, 2021. Data analysis is based on the concept of combined costs, between vehicle waiting time costs and ship operating costs, with the number of ships. From the results of the discussion, it can be concluded that operational management in the form of an optimal performance system requires 4 ships with a minimum combined cost reference.

Abstract

Pembangunan  gedung  konstruksi  beton  kadang  terjadi  permasalahan  setelah rangka konstruksi sudah dibangun sebelum penyelesaiannya masalah ini bisa berupa perizinan, sengketa lahan, terjadi penyimpangan dalam pelaksanaannya sehingga diputuskan untuk dihentikan, kekurangan modal atau terjadi krisis moneter nasional. Terbengkalainya konstruksi bangunan yang terbuat dari beton bertulang tentu mengalami pengaruh cuaca panas dan hujan dalam kurun waktu tertentu, penelitian ini dilakukan menguji sampel material beton yang berada di perlindungan panas dan hujan dan material beton yang mengalami pengaruh cuaca panas dan hujan dalam beberapa waktu dalam hal ini diambil waktu 180 hari dan360 hari, dalam penelitian ini ada 3 buah sampel yang antara lain terlindung dengan pengaruh cuaca 180 hari dan 360 hari, proses  penelitian mengacu kepada petunjuk dasar penelitian bahan dengan material pembentuk bahan beton yang sama, proses pengolahan yang sama namun perlakuan terhadap sampel yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beton yang mengalami pengaruh cuaca alam seperti panas dan hujan atau tanpa perlindungan mengalami kekuatan tekan yang berbanding terbalik dengan waktu pengaruh cuaca alam dalam arti lebih lama konstruksi beton terbengkalai maka lebih rendah kekuatan mutu betonnya.Kata Kunci:  Material Beton, Terlindung, Pengaruh Cuaca, Kekuatan Tekan Berbanding Terbalik

Abstract

A Damage to the reinforced concrete beam-column connection system had found in buildings such as residential buildings, houses of worship, and so on. This was caused by an incidental changed in the position of the beam elevation at the beam-column connection. The research had modelled the reinforced concrete beam-column connection with variations beam elevation, successively: h; 2h; and 3h where h was the height of the column. Modeling used 3D frame idealization and 3D solids element. The idealization of 3D frames had used to evaluate the capacity of the beam-column due to the beam elevation changed. T. The results showed that due to beam elevation chnaged had significant increased in the moment and shear capacity. The percentage increased in moment and shear respectively were 15%, 35%, and 45% of the control beam-column. The most severe cracks were occurred when the beam elevation was at 1.00hb. The percentage of beam-column connection stress concentration is 8,74% (CM); 9.80% (0.25hb); 11.09%(0,50hb); 12.13%(0.75hb); and 13.41% (1.00hb) for the ratio of horizontal and vertical stresses (S11/S22) on concrete frames. The percentage of stress concentration in steel reinforcement is 4.15% (CM); 4.47%(0.25hb); 5.25%(0,50hb); 4.56%(0.75hb); and 4.57%(1.00hb) for the comparison of von Mises and horizontal stresses (SVM/S11)

Abstract

Tariff is the level of price or fee paid by users of goods transport services per unit trip, weight or per unit volume per kilometer. Because the tariff is intended to encourage the creation of optimum use of transportation infrastructure and facilities by considering the traffic concerned. In calculating the cost (transportation rate) of goods using an approach to vehicle production costs, it means that the ideal freight rate is determined based on vehicle operating costs plus a number of percentages of management and profits that are allowed. This case study reviews the special freight rates for the Banjarmasin – Amuntai route along 200 km. by land transportation. Where in this case, due to low tariffs, the tendency of owners of transportation services to increase the number of transport loads, one of the impacts on road network infrastructure is not achieving the planned age of the road construction. The calculation of transportation rates refers to the technical guidelines for determining tariffs for goods and passengers from the Director General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation with three basic components, namely ownership costs, fixed costs and vehicle operating costs. From the combination of the three components, the basic tariff value for goods transportation from Banjarmasin - Amuntai per kilogram is Rp.681.39 so that the expedition company can determine the ideal tariff according to the level of service to service users
