Abstract

Covid-19 has an effect in every area of people's life, one sector is education. Education in Indonesia seems to be getting a shock that creates a new order in the learning process. So as to make the distance learning process, it must be implemented considering the Ministry of Education and Culture's instructions to continue learning amid the Covid-19 outbreak. Teachers are required to make learning plans related to Distance Learning, which has never been implemented before. From the limitations of PAI teachers at the junior high school level who are accustomed to face-to-face learning, they must make distance learning. Teachers at SMP Islam Mbah Bolong Watugaluh Jombang as research respondents turned out to have advantages in preparing for the learning process during the Covid-19 period. In Distance Learning they are able to continue working by optimizing all the potential that exists through electronic media. difficulties and ease in implementing distance learning cannot be avoided. This is also an attraction for research related to the distance learning process at Mbah Bolong Watugaluh Islamic Junior High School in Jombang.

Abstract

Monitoring management is a systematic process aimed at overseeing, evaluating, and improving performance within an organization, including in educational settings. This study aims to: (1) describe the monitoring management process in supporting the performance improvement of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers at MTs Sunan Gunung Jati Kabuh; (2) identify the factors influencing its effectiveness; and (3) analyze its impact on teacher performance quality. A descriptive qualitative method was used, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that the monitoring process is implemented systematically through planning, execution, and evaluation stages. Factors supporting effective monitoring include a well-structured work system, teachers’ commitment to self-development, and active support from the head of the madrasah. The implementation of monitoring management has led to increased teacher professionalism and improved instructional quality. These findings affirm that monitoring serves not only as a control mechanism but also as a developmental tool focused on the sustainable enhancement of educational quality.

Abstract

Although Fiqih instruction has long been implemented in schools, the learning process is still largely dominated by lecture-based methods and conventional media, resulting in low student motivation and suboptimal achievement of learning objectives. This study aimed to develop an interactive e-module using Flip PDF Professional based on QR Code technology and to evaluate its feasibility, effectiveness, and students’ responses to its use in Fiqih learning. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, encompassing the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consisted of two validators (a media expert and a content expert) and 30 eighth-grade students at MTsN 5 Jombang. The findings show that the developed e-module was categorized as highly feasible, with feasibility scores of 94% from the media expert and 86% from the content expert. Student responses were also very positive, with an average score of 89.3%, indicating that the e-module is engaging, easy to use, and supports students’ understanding of the Fiqih topics of sujud sahwi, tilawah, and syukur. The integration of QR Codes proved to enhance students’ access to videos, practice questions, and other supporting materials. These results confirm that the interactive e-module developed using Flip PDF Professional and QR Code technology is feasible and effective as a digital learning medium for Fiqih, aligned with the needs and characteristics of students in the digital era.

Abstract

The low learning interest of students, influenced by the dominance of lecture methods and conventional learning, became the basis for developing MOTIF, or Educational Fiqh Monopoly, learning media in the Fiqh subject at MA Al-Bairuny. This study aims to produce interactive learning media based on an educational game that can improve students’ engagement and understanding in the Fiqh learning process. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of analysis, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consisted of Grade X students at MA Al-Bairuny. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaire distribution to validators and students. The validation results showed that the MOTIF media obtained a very feasible category based on material expert assessment and a very attractive category based on media expert assessment, indicating that it can be used in learning activities. In addition, the field trial results showed positive student responses to the use of MOTIF media because it was considered capable of creating a more engaging, interactive, and enjoyable learning atmosphere. The conclusion of this study affirms that the development of MOTIF learning media can serve as an innovative alternative in Fiqh learning. The implications of this study indicate that educational game media can encourage students to be more active, motivated, and enthusiastic in understanding Fiqh learning material.
