Abstract

Wamena City or Baliem Valley is a unique city located in a mountainous area that is being hunted by foreign tourists. However, the threat of environmental pollution due to waste has become a threat to the innovation policy of the Regional Government of Jayawijaya Regency. Therefore, it is hoped that the Jayawijaya Regency Regional Government will have an active role in this case the Jayawijaya Regency Environmental Service which is of course responsible for the Environmental Cleanliness of Wamena City. Through a qualitative method, the authors found that the lack of facilities provided by the Jayawijaya Regency Government made it difficult to realize a Clean Wamena City, in addition, which was marked by the behavior of people who were still not aware of the importance of maintaining cleanliness, littering, or the presence of a lot of piles. garbage that can be found everywhere, there is not even a clear sanction for each violator.

Abstract

Intellectual competency is an important element in the successful management of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), whose applications are still not optimally empowered by SMEs in Indonesia. This case study aims to describe the forms of intellectual competence of UKM actors and their empowerment in achieving UKM performance in Nagauleng Village, Cenrana District, Bone Regency. This study involved 3 UKM actors who were selected using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using interviews and documentation. The collected data is processed using a data triangulation approach with stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion and verification. This study found forms of SME intellectual competence, including: creativity skills, innovation skills, skills in preparing business plans, and job evaluation skills. Furthermore, empowering intellectual competence can improve the performance of SMEs. Following up on these findings, it is very important to implement various intellectual competencies in the management of SMEs so as to provide opportunities to achieve maximum performance.

Abstract

Transportation is a necessity for people in carrying out daily activities, in both urban and rural communities. For this reason, the Jayawijaya Regency Transportation Service is tasked with helping to optimize the function of the Potikelek terminal for the existence of street vendors, such as the comfort and security felt by the community as users. In optimizing the function of the Potikelek Terminal and the existence of street vendors. Then the various efforts made by the Regional Government. By using descriptive qualitative research methods, it is obtained that the optimization of the Potikelek Terminal function for the existence of street vendors has not been carried out properly, which is indicated by the finding that the optimization of the Potikelek Terminal function carried out by the Jayawijaya Regency Transportation Service is not optimal because there are still many obstacles. faced, such as (a) Infrastructure facilities are still far from complete; (b) People still find it difficult to use existing facilities; (c) There is still a lack of control from the government side; (d) The public is still not familiar with the signs and regulations set by the Department of Transportation; and (e) There is still a lack of coordination between the government and the community.

Abstract

Bagi Masyarakat Asli Papua di Jayawijaya, sayur mayur merupakan sumber penghidupan bagi mereka. Kegiatan pengabdian ini difokuskan kepada pengolahan sayur wortel dan daun bawang menjadi sebuah produk kreatif yang mampu menopang perekonomian masyarakat.  Melalui beberapa tahap program dengan melakukan pendekatan secara induktif dan beberapa tahapan (Tahap Persiapan, Tahap Pelaksanaan, dan Tahap Akhir). Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengedukasi masyarakat agar bisa memperoleh penghasilan tambahan melalui sumber daya alam yang ada di Kampung Jagara Distrik Welesi dan Distrik Kurulu. Dari kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini, masyarakat memiliki pengetahuan tentang cara mengelola hasil pertanian menjadi sebuah produk yang bernilai.

Abstract

Sebagian orang menganggap sampah adalah barang yang tak bernilai. Namun ditangan – tangan kreatif, sampah dianggap barang yang bernilai karena dapat menghasilkan uang. Kegiatan pengabdian ini difokuskan kepada pengelolaan limbah sampah menjadi barang bernilai (seperti: kerajinan) melalui beberapa tahap program dengan melakukan pendekatan secara induktif dan beberapa tahapan (Tahap Persiapan, Tahap Pelaksanaan, dan Tahap Akhir). Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk membantu menumbuhkan pendapatan Masyarakat Apenas Dostrik Welesi Kabupaten Jayawijaya melalui pengelolaan sampah yang ada di sekitar. Dari kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini, masyarakat memiliki pengetahuan tentang cara meningkatkan ekonomi kreatif masyarakat melalui pemanfaatan limbah sampah.
