Abstract

In order to carry out the mandate of the Law. No. 20 of 2003 as stated in PP no. 55 of 2007 concerning religious education and religious education is education that prepares students to be able to carry out roles that require mastery of knowledge about religious teachings and / or become experts in religious science and practice their religious teachings. Religious education also develops as a result of religious education subjects / courses which are considered to face various limitations. Especially at the public tertiary level where the religious education course only received a portion of 2 credits according to the decision of the Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of National Education Number: 43 / DIKTI / Kep / 2006. To overcome the shortage of religious learning, some people overcome it with additional religious education at homes, houses of worship, or in associations which then develop into formal, non-formal or informal religious education units or programs. As for the campus community, an innovation was carried out in the form of Diniyah Takmiliyah al-Jami'ah Education as a trap for the two credits that students were accepting in lectures.

Youth are a very productive age. The change from children to youth is a natural change that is accompanied by changes in attitudes and mindsets. Youth in general are an age group that requires extra attention because there is an attitude that always presents their existence or wants to be recognized. The activities in the mosque, mental development in the activities are of course also accompanied by the tastes of the youth themselves. In the Jami' Al Muharromah mosque, Ulujami Village, South Jakarta, teenagers are active in several mosque youths using a mosque-based education approach. This study uses a qualitative method. The goal is that teenagers can increase their knowledge that mosques are not only used as places of worship. Mosques can also be used as non-formal educational institutions in order to foster the mentality of youth to be more focused so as to produce positive activities.

Abstract

Sunan Gunung Jati is an important figure in the spread of Islam in the Cirebon region, a city and district at the northern tip of West Java. There are messages left to be studied and put into practice in the context of Islamic religious education. This article discusses the meaning and implementation of Sunan Gunung Jati's "ingsun entrusts tajug and the poor" in contextual learning in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This testament contains an important message about the importance of maintaining a balance between human relationships with Allah Swt (hablum minallah) and human relationships with fellow humans (hablum minannas). PAI contextual learning emphasizes the relationship between theory and practice in real life. The testament "ingsun entrusts tajug and the poor" can be used as a basis for developing more effective and meaningful PAI contextual learning. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The phenomenological approach emphasizes the direct description of individual subjective experiences. This means researchers seek to understand human experience directly through observation, interviews, or direct experience. This means the researcher seeks to understand the essence or core meaning of the individual experience or phenomenon being studied. The aim of this research is to provide a basis for developing curriculum and learning practices that are oriented towards character development and a holistic understanding of religion, as well as being able to interpret Islamic religious education learning in a contextual form. Keywords: Contextual learning; Islamic Religious Education; Will ingsun titip tajug lan fakir miskin
