Abstract

The goal of the writing of Serat Darmasarana by R.Ng. Ranggawarsita is the reception of Âdiparwa and continuation of the story of Mosalaparwa, Prasthanikaparwa, and Swargarohanaparwa. By writing Serat Darmasarana and texts in the Pustakaraja Madya R.Ng. Ranggawarsita intends to place Pengging as a myth, as the central government in Java, after the fall of Kediri. Further, R.Ng. Ranggawarsita also wants to place the Gods and Pandawa as the ancestors of Mataram Kings.

Abstract

Panji Angreni is a popular Panji story while the others besides Mundignlaya Dikusumah poem story a well known Sunda poesm, besides Lutung Kesarung, Ciung Wanara, and Nyi Sumur Bandung. Lirk common poems, Mundinglaya Dikusumah story belongs to a series of sacred stories or legends and is connected with traditional ceremonies such as children circumcision or marriage. The connection between Panji story with Padjajaran King. Fact of that Prabu Surya Amiluhur as a figure Panji story, will be the King of Padjajaran in the future. Poerbatjaraka and Berf claimed that Panji stories have historical background Poerbatjaraka placed the figure, in the era of Kediri while Berg placed them during the region of Hayam Wuruk in Majapahit Kingdom by Hayam Wuruk King. Rases Anthropology Structure Analysis of Panji Angreni Story and Mundinglaya Dikusumah poem story explained that both of the stories contained autochton principles which include; a)Totemisme, b) Classification System, c) Myte, 4) Cross Caussine, e) Stamheros and f) Intitation.

Abstract

Wayang Madya adalah salah satu jenis seni pertunjukkan wayang yang telah lama tenggelam. Sekalipun tidak pernah populer di Surakarta, seperti dikemukakan Pigeaud (Pigeaud, 1967), tetapi pernah dipentaskan di Istana Mangkunegaran di abad 19 dengan mengambil lakon Jayabaya (Claire Holt, 1967). Bentuk Wayang Madya adalah paduan Wayang kulit (Purwa) dengan Wayang Gedhog. Bagian atas sampai tengah mengambil bentuk wayang Purwa, sedangkan bagian tengah ke bawah mengambil bentuk Wayang Gedhog (Sayid, 1981). Sumber bahan Wayang Madya pun menjadi jembatan yang menghubungkan bahan kedua tradisi wayang tersebut. Jika Wayang Purwa mengambil cerita dewa-dewa sampai keluarga Pandawa dan Wayang Gedhog mengambil cerita Panji dari Jenggala dengan putri Kediri (Uhlenbeck, 1964), maka Wayang Madya mengambil cerita para cucu Pandawa sampai menjelangPanJI (Brandon , 1970). Dapat pula cerita sejak peristiwa wafatnya Prabu Yudayana sampai masa Prabu Jayalengkara naik tahta tahun 765 C -1052 C (863 M 1130 M) (Kats, 1924).
