Abstract

The shift in pharmacy profession from drug-oriented to patient-oriented necessitates pharmacists always providing the best possible service to their customers. It is the obligation of pharmacists to offer patients with accurate medication therapy information. Home care is one type of pharmaceutical assistance provided by pharmacists. Direct visits to the patient's house for home care activities will have a greater impact on the patient's understanding of the disease and its treatment. Home care activities were conducted in the village of all new Central Lombok with a total of 30 patients by local pharmacists and postgraduate students from the University of Qamarul Huda Badaruddin Bagu. The activity begins with a direct interview, followed by the completion of a questionnaire on the patient's understanding of the ailment and its treatment options. The patient's response is based on the results of routine homecare.

Abstract

Based on data cited from Riskesdas in 2018, the Central Statistics Agency noted that the percentage of pregnant women with anemia in Indonesia increased by 11.8%, from 37.1% in 2013 to 48.9% in 2018. The percentage of anemia that occurs is higher in the age group of 15 to 24 years, which is 84.6%. There will be many impacts caused by anemia in pregnant women, during pregnancy anemia affects the growth and development of the fetus in the womb, and after birth also affects the growth and development of the child born.2,5 Indirectly anemia in pregnancy can also cause death in the mother, because anemia can be the cause of postpartum hemorrhage. Objective: To investigate the relationship between family roles and maternal perceptions of anemia prevention behavior in pregnant women in Polindes Pemepek. Research method: analytical survey with a cross sectional approach where the risk variable or Cause (independent variable) and effect variable (dependent variable) are carried out together Results of the study: There is a significant relationship between the role of family on anemia prevention behavior with a p-value of 0.006 while based on the mother's perception of the p-value of 0.001 means that there is a significant relationship between the role of the family and the mother's perception of the anemia prevention behavior. Conclusion: there is a relationship between family roles and maternal perception of anemia prevention behavior
