Abstract

Role of public relation as government media of publication can not be underestimated. The dissemination of information that spread rapidly by internet, government can take the advantage it as a tool for dissemination of information for services information or government’s programmes. A good information will come from employee who have a good competence in public relation. In other way, public relation activity should be supported by good infrastructure. In reality, many employee in office’s public relation do not have an enough competence. It has a strong influence for the quality of information. This research that measure people’s satisfication of public information that they have got and employee’s competence in public relations has a good result for people’s satisfication for public information. But, there are many lacks from employee’s competence in public relation. In the future, it’s important to make a public relations training or improve some infrastructure that supported for public relations activity.

Abstract

Facing COVID-19 which is announced as pandemic global by World Health Organization (WHO), Indonesia government has established some policies to pretend COVID-19 spread in Indonesia territory. Directorate General of Immigration as authorized institution in immigration also established the policies, mainly for foreigner who stay in Indonesia territory.

Abstract

The mutation of the Covid-19 virus in various countries has made the Indonesian Government issue various public policies related to the entry and exit of foreigners both from and to Indonesian territory. The Directorate General of Immigration as the authorized agency in the service of visas and stay permits, issued several public policies during the pandemic, especially related to the entry ban of foreigners. Including when the Covid-19 case in India increased significantly, a policy was imposed to prohibit the entry of foreigners from India. Public Relations of the Directorate General of Immigration is also involved not only in policy making, where aspirations from the public are accommodated and then conveyed to policy makers, but also in disseminating established policies in the form of information that is easily understood by the public.
