Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the differences in financial performance before and after mergers and acquisitions based on financial ratios : Current Ratio (CR), Quick Ratio (QR), Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return On Assets (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE), Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Operating Profit Margin (OPM), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Fixed Assets Turnover (FATO), Total Assets Turnover (TATO), dan   Earnings Per Share  (EPS) at the companies listed on the Stock Exchange. This type of research is comparative , and sampling using purposive sampling. The type of data using quantitative data and data sources obtained from secondary data. The analysis technique used is the model for the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test for normality, and parametric test Paired Sample T Test to test hipoteisis. The results showed that there were significant differences between before and after mergers and acquisitions based on financial ratios Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR) in the comparative period of 2 years before and 2 years after puberty and acquisitions as well as comparison of 2 years before the 3 years after the mergers and acquisitions. The results also showed a significant difference based on financial ratios Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) at a ratio of 2-year period prior to 2 years after the mergers and acquisitions. While based on the ratio of Current Ratio (CR), Quick Ratio (QR), Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Operating Profit Margin (OPM), Net Profit Margin (NPM), fixed Assets Turnover (FATO), Total Assets Turnover (TATO), and Earnings Per Share (EPS), the results showed that there were no significant differences for all the study period.Keywords: Mergers and acquisitions, financial performance, quantitative, Paired Sample T Test

Abstract

Kebijakan publik merupakan konsep sentral dalam studi ilmu pemerintahan, administrasi publik, dan hukum konstitusi yang mempengaruhi dinamika hubungan antara negara dan masyarakat. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memperjelas pemahaman tentang definisi kebijakan publik melalui tiga pokok bahasan utama. Pertama, artikel ini menguraikan makna kebijakan publik sebagai serangkaian tindakan atau keputusan yang diambil oleh pemerintah untuk menyelesaikan persoalan publik. Kedua, dibahas pula unsur-unsur utama yang membentuk definisi kebijakan publik, meliputi adanya tujuan kolektif, pelaku yang berwenang, instrumen kebijakan, dan keterkaitan dengan kepentingan masyarakat luas. Ketiga, artikel ini menelusuri perkembangan teori kebijakan publik yang mengalami transformasi signifikan. Melalui tinjauan ini, diharapkan pembaca memperoleh pemahaman yang komprehensif tentang konsep, unsur, dan dinamika teoritis dalam studi kebijakan publik, khususnya dalam kerangka hukum konstitusi.

Abstract

Hypertension was the most common disease suffered by the people of Sungai Rangas Ulu Village. One of the management of hypertension was complementary therapy in the form of a foot spa. This study aims to describe the results of nursing care in patients with hypertension through foot spa therapy. It used a case study method on one of the hypertensive patients. The individual was a community of Sungai Rangas Ulu Village chosen at random or accidentally. Individuals were given foot spa therapy, and observed their blood pressure by using a sphygmomanometer every day for six days. The results of the evaluation of foot spa therapy were that blood pressure had decreased. Blood pressure before intervention was 170/100 mmHg; on the last day of the intervention, blood pressure was found to be 141/94 mmHg. Foot spas could provide a sense of relaxation to stimulate vasodilation, lowering blood pressure. Foot spa therapy can be a complementary therapy option for people with hypertension.
