Abstract

Harmonic is produced by non-linear loads in electrical system. The using of non-linear loads in utility system increaces harmonics in the result sinusoidal waveform of current and voltage can not occur. A harmonic filter is expected to decrease harmonic in STT-PLN electricity consumption which have current and voltage of harmonic distortion on the threeth. Therefore we need a filter that can reduce the impact of harmonics that occur so as to provide better power quality.

Abstract

Inadequate power quality causes damage and may even cause damage to electrical equipment. Solar Power Plants Off-grid is a stand-alone power plant is not connected to the network. This system uses storage media such as batteries to maintain the availability of electricity at night or when the sun's intensity decreases. Solar power plant has a PV module that works based on the intensity of the captured sunlight and the inverter that can change the dc voltage into ac where as is known in the inverter there are non linear components which can result in poor quality of electrical power in this case the total harmonic distortion and voltage variations change. This may result in damage to electrical equipment. The electrical power quality of the STT-PLN off-grid PLTS will be analyzed and compared with the IEEE 519-1992 and SPLN 1: 1995 standards. Based on the results of the discussion that the THDi and THDv values ​​are still above the established standard limit of 5%.

Abstract

With the growth of electricity consumption getting bigger, the possibility of greater losses arises from measuring energy in customers. One cause of the losses due to mistakes in flow ratio CT (Current Transformer) installed on APP Box indirect measurement. Necessary to test the CT accuracy class to determine the current ratio error limits set by the standard PLN. Then do the replacement on the CT accuracy class to resolve this issue. This activity is done at the customer PT. Astra Int Auto 2000 by replacing the CT accuracy class of 0.5 becomes 0,5S. There is a comparison of the measurement between the two different classes. Based on the results of tests performed, a decline in the current ratio error before and after the replacement of accuracy class. After calculating the error margin of the second flow ratio CT installed that are not measured by the energy meter. This Value kWh that is the losses to PT. PLN (Persero) Area Depok. So understanding CT as one of the tools of measurement (instrumentation) should be changed to a point of transaction (point of transaction). So that the revenue gains kWh a business orientation that is fundamental to PLN by pressing slightly possible energy losses (losses) that occur in the measurement system.

Abstract

One area prone to the impact of the rainy season which later becomes an area prone to flooding is certainly an area that is densely populated and does not have sufficient water drainage. Where land that could have become water absorption land is actually covered by buildings. To overcome this problem, one of the solutions is to make water infiltration holes back even on narrow land. In holes that are 10 cm in diameter and 80 cm - 100 cm deep, organic waste in the form of dried leaves or household waste can be inserted. (kitchen garbage). This organic waste serves to help the life of earthworms and termites which will later make biopores (pores / small) in the soil. In waterways, this infiltration hole can be made every one meter. And from this biopore infiltration hole, harvest yields can also be taken in the form of organic fertilizer (biomass energy) which has economic value. For this reason, this dissemination was carried out in the Faculty of Law Krisnadwipayana University.

Abstract

Kabel diproduksi dengan metallic sheath yang merupakan selubung metalik untuk ketahanan terhadap benturan agar terhindar dari kerusakan mekanis. Ketika kabel dialiri listrik, terjadi tegangan induksi dari konduktor inti ke metallic sheath yang ditanahkan. Studi kasus ini dilaksanakan di PLTU FTP 2 Lombok, dimana saat switching capacitor bank beroperasi maka terjadi transien tegangan secara cepat dan dapat mengakibatkan kenaikan suhu serta kegagalan jangka panjang pada kabel transmisi. Sheath voltage limiter perlu ditambahkan pada salah satu ujung kabel dengan instalasi teknik single point bonding dengan maksud untuk mencegah tegangan induksi pada selubung kabel. Sheath voltage limiter merupakan perangkat pelindung dari lonjakan tegangan yang terhubung antara metallic sheath dan ground. Simulasi ATP-EMTP (Alternative Transients Program – Electromagnetic Transients Program) digunakan untuk mengetahui keefektifitasan shealt voltage limiter dalam mereduksi nilai tegangan induksi pada metalic shelath cable. Hasil dari simulasi menunjukan dengan pemasangan SVL di sisi pembangkit dapat mereduksi nilai tegangan induksi pada kondisi normal sebesar 87.2% dan saat terjadi transien sebesar 89.58% - 94.53%.
